Hi Faye, so sad to hear your loss. I am the eldest in our family of four lads, two bros have nearly died, one is now a crippled and can't talk or shower himself. The other has just come out of spinal surgery to remove a huge growth lower spine. I am so thankful I have good health (bangs head on wooden table!). Great to see a five footer trying on motorcycles again!! Gorgeous bod!! Love your smiles and sense of humour - great to have you back!! Get yr leg over soon ya hear!! You two are fab together, lifts our spirits when you two have a conflab!
Hi, thanks for the comment and support, I realy does sound like you have gone through many sad heartbreaking 💔 times yourself our best wishes are also with you. I am looking forward to getting out on the bike as this realy does lift my spirits thanks again for all of your support faye and shaun xx
Lovely to see you Faye! It's so hard to say goodbye to a sibling. I lost my twin brother 3 years ago. Can't wait to see you back in the saddle and flat footed soon!
Aww thanks Jenny ❤️
Great to see faye smiling, hope she gets a bike sorted soon! You tube is crap without the weekly vlogs 😉
Cheers Kev it's much appreciated and hopefully from Tues we'll be on a roll
Great to see you both out and about, hope you find your dream bike , take care and safe riding 🏍🏍🏍
Sorry for your loss
If you can wait the Honda cl500 was announced very quietly at Eicma.
Looks perfect!
Safe, happy travels 👍
Yeah nice looking bike although it's coming in with a 31" seat height unfortunately
My condolences to you Faye. 💔 xx.
I hope you find your new bike soon. 🤞🏍
All the best.
Julie xx
Aww thanks been a tough few months ❤️
Chin up Faye , think of the good times !
Sorry to hear of you losing your BROTHER Faye. God Bless him. He'll be watching over you, on your next bike life journey. 🥰
❤️❤️❤️❤️
just hear on this video so sorry to hear our news it good our out & about always remember the good times
Absolutely 👍
So sorry for your loss Faye ❤️ love your vids( also love the brekkie at millennium 👍) I lost my son nearly 2 yrs ago, and getting out on my bike is a way of clearing my head ❤. Ride safe. ( lovely bike btw 👍👍)
Life goes on,and memories become more cherished❤️
Absolutely 100%
Sorry for your sad news Faye happy memories x
Thanks Kevin ❤️
Great video, hope you get your dream bike soon.
I just had my brand new Terrain 125 delivered yesterday! Cant wait to get out when we get a nice clear day.
Ohhh can't go wrong with the terrain ... Shaun is thinking of getting 1 as a work bike 👍🏍
You could almost buy two meteor's for one vulcan, and you could fit the meteor with the low rider seat make it a little bit lower in fact a tad over 29"😉
Sincere condolences on your loss 🙏🏼
Faye needs 27" and 20bhp just isn't enough for touring ... if u remember she tried 1 last year and struggled to pull a real 70mph uphill which when fully loaded abroad isn't enough ... which is a shame as its a cracking day to day bike
Sorry to hear about your brother, good luck on bike hunting. Know how ya feel lost mine a year ago too 🥂😎🏍💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦
Thanks guys 👍🏍
And she's back yay
Condolences to you and your family Faye 💚
Thankyou ❤️
@Tins on Tour good luck on the bike hunt, have a friend who has the Vulcan & she loves it
Oily Rag HQ is 30 miles away from me, i have two modern Royal Enfields very reliable with value for money
Yeah can't argue with the value of them 👍🏍
hi guys so sorry too hear of fayes sad news, i recently rode my own bike too gran canaria, absolutely loved every minute of it, stayed in playa del cura as been goin 20 years to same place, recommed going up hills and back roads of mogan into mountains great roads.
Yeah great roads up there did it last year but this year will be Fayes 1st experience of it 👍 I'd live there
So sorry for your loss 😢, keep strong 💪🏽 enjoy the bike 🏍️
Hi Shaun, hi Faye, nice to see you back, stay strong and best wishes, hopefully you'll get your own too! 👍👍
Cheers mate it's much appreciated 👍
Soory to hear about loss, never the best of times. She got to look at new Royal Enfield super meteor 650.
Been looking at the super meteor although it's coming in as heavy as a GS which is just to much for me to move around unfortunately
Good to see you back Faye, condolences to you. Shaun has been doing a Stirling solo job but it’s always good to have you both back. Thought the Meteor was lower than that but the Vulcan looked more comfortable. I have actually tried both and the Rebel 500 and that definitely feels lightest.
Thanks Chris and yeah think Faye is leaning towards the rebel 👍🏍
Good to see Faye out and about looking for a bike to lift her spirit 😀 "Look I can flat foot it" Faye says whilst wearing boots with a two inch heel 👠. Looking forwards to seeing what loan bike you get and which bike you lean towards for your new steed 🤔😎 That Vulcan S looked mean with its all black decor, also pretty well kitted out for touring.
Looks like a lot of bike doesn't it ... mate faye has to wear heels on the couch to touch the floor 🤣
Love the meteor as well as the Vulcan. Sorry about your brother condolences to you all x
Aww thanks Jane ❤️
Hi guys, I am just newly arrived here today…..firstly my condolences….a very tough time for sure…….I have seen a few of your videos tonight, loved them….thanks for sharing…..I will pick up lots from you both I am sure, I am getting my NC750XDCT 2023 model next week, getting back to riding after 41 years of not riding….I live in Jersey, lots of small roads, but lots of cars, think my riding will be in the spring, just now it’s wild…..have a peaceful reflective New Year, and best wishes to you both for 2023..cheers..Karl
Ohhhh the nc750x lovely bike i used 1 in Gran Canaria earlier in the year .... Great to have u along 👍
Sorry to hear your loss, it really appreciates the time we have and we have to make the most of it.
Test rode a vulcan s and signed the deal. Ace of a bike. Hope you have the opportunity to ride one. 🤘
Good to see you both, that kwaker looked good on you 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Paul ... weirdly it had only done 600miles but the condition was shocking
@@TinsonTour wow, that’s not good 🙄
Hi Ho ,,, lol 😂brilliant, really sorry to hear about your brother, looking forward to seeing what bike you get, take care 👍
Look forward to seeing you on your new motorbike. I did two up in gran canaria it was fine , it's brave pillion on them roads tho lol 😆
Haha luckily Fayes used to being pillion
Hi Shaun and Faye you’ll find the right one that Kawasaki Vulcan S looked nice wish the best you’ll get one that’s just right for Faye 👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Small leg probs 🤣🏍
Looking good Faye ...
Awww thanks 😊
Great to see Faye whith that beautiful smile on her chops. Ha ha . Hope you find a great bike for Faye Shaun. Happy hunting and hopefully you both will go to grand canaria together. That's the least you both deserve. Take care both and stay safe..
Just booked the flights Frank 👍🏍
@@TinsonTour good on ya Shaun enjoy yourselves.
What’s happened to the SV. Just finished a days riding in the mountains with Canary Motorcycles in Gran Canaria OMG!! 👍
Sold it just to tall .... its great there isn't it can't wait to go back
With the heartache it's nice to see Faye with a smile on her face, bikes do that for you. Shaun is deffo a Bum and Boob man, concentrate the camera on the bikes man 🤣🤣🤣I did think the Rebel was a great choice but the Kwaka has so much more to offer but did look a stretch with the pegs in that forward position. I would ask to try with them set back I think that would be a game changer.
Yeah absolutely.. tried 1 last year in its smallest ergo fit and would defo have to change the bars as i felt i was reaching up to them
@@TinsonTour are the bars fixed or will they adjust back. if not look at Helibars to see if they supply a riser for them, I have them fitted to my wing
Hi you two, good to see you back. Harley Davidson do make a low rider designed for the not too tall rider😁 good luck in your search for a new bike 👍.
Couple more years under my belt and I'm gonna get a Harley 👍🏍
I have the 900 Vulcan and love it
Take poor Faye to Gran Canaria. It'll be fun, Faye will enjoy it at least 😜
Funny vids folks, nice one 👌👍
Flights booked .... proper skint now
@@TinsonTour 😂
Sorry to hear about your loss.
I moan about not fitting many bikes properly being 6ft 4! You are seriously limited in choice of bikes that fit. Hope Faye gets the chance to experience Gran Canaria, I'm sure she would get on with Joy over there. Good luck in the hunt for the right bike.
Cheers pal , yeah Faye is hoping to have a little go of Joy's rebel all being well 👍
@@TinsonTour Brilliant, tell Joy and Martin we said hi 👋
I reckon the Vulcan suited Faye ,& although that style of bike can be heavy ,they tend to carry it low & balanced . I also liked the Benelli but not too sure about the bitza rear mudguard . I am am old school & would prefer it to have a stylish shorty mudguard & plate holder that is attached to rear light / seat unit conventionally . It was good to see Faye smiling & out there again on the search for a new trusty steed . I am looking forward to seeing what Faye’s loan bike is & how it all turns out . 👍
Thanks for that .... trouble is where we keep the bikes it's a job in its self to get them out so weight is an issue or get a garage built 🤣
@@TinsonTour I get what you mean ,I struggle to drag my bikes out ,even though I have downsized due to age & health probs . I am ok once I have managed to unlock them & got to the kerb. I don’t envy you having to manoeuvre your bikes around the limited space in your back garden . Deffo will be better once you get a garage sorted ,& it will also give you better space & cover to spanner bikes ,when the weathers bad 👍
Great to see Faye back hopefully you'll have a new Steed soon ??? Great to see you both to be fair ,can i ask what happened to the SV ,all the best with your new bike choice the Vulcan definitely looks better for you as in being flat footed all the best
Thanks Paul , decided to sell the sv as even lowered it was just to tall could only get 1 tip toe down 🤣
Do you know Faye looks 5" 1 on the camera . Good luck finding a new ride 😁👍
Haha ill take that 🤣
Faye have the Vulcan S I think a great fit and you looked good on it
Shaun needs to treat you for chrimbo
Sorry for your loss but as for the Enfield I would think twice recently there has been a hymalayan
That has dropped a valve it was only 18 months old. With 24000 Kms on it but it still dropped a valve I think the rebel would be perfect for her
Tbh John it's gonna be Japanese just got a few things to sort out yet , thanks for the message 👍🏍
Sorry to here you’re sad news Faye ❤. Have you looked at the RE Hunter, its a bit lower and lighter than the meteor/classic 350, and cheaper 👍
Hunter has a 31" seat height , the sv was lowered to 29" and still a tad to tall unfortunately
Sorry for your loss, thoughts are with you and your family. The Vulcan looks good, plus a similar size engine to whats in the sv. I think the meteor will be too slow for you. That Benelli has been out a while now, looks decent though. Faye should try the 502c cruiser that Benelli make.
Hi thanks for the message , tried the benelli cruiser for size about 18months ago in 1 of the vids it's just way to big ( not tall just a stretch ) which was a shame as i loved it , Shaun sat on it and it was perfect for him 👍
Don't know were this Dealer is but wish we had one like this in Lincoln
Tbf it's like a sardine tin ..... but the cafe is 100% spot on
I actually thought you’d traded the Suzuki in against the Honda Rebel after your last vid. As you are still in the market, Royal Enfield make great sense and the new Hunter 350 should be well worth looking at too. The Rebel did seem to tick all the boxes though 😉.
Hi we've been keeping an eye on the hunter350 but just way to tall 31" seat .. we ( well shaun ) lowered the sv to 29" and that was still tippy toes .... small person problems 🤣
I’m so sorry ❤
That Vulcan did look the good and fitted you well, get a test ride on one booked. That Benelli also looked good, but I would say that I'm a Benelli rider.
That new Benelli has really caught Shauns eye 👍🏍
The Royal Enfield is nice I had a 350 RE Meteor but it was powerless on highway so I sold it....but! the Honda Rebel 500 does circles around RE Meteor!! 😎
Yeah tbh we didn't think that much of the meteor when we tested it in 2021 , great commuter but defo not a tourer and after having my fazer 600 and sv650 it felt gutless but great value all the same
@@TinsonTour my picture here is on the 2021 RE Meteor, good looking bike but very little low end torque.😎
If you prefer the meteor (350cc) you might as well wait for the super meteor (650cc).
Looks a great bike but nearly 250kgs !!
Someone might want to tell the folks at Millenium motorcycles that there's two NNs in MILLENNIUM.
They did about 20yrs ago but ey ho who's counting
The new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 has a seat height 25mm lower than the Meteor 350.
And 240kgs !!!! .... Faye weighs 8stone and has no chance of getting that out on her own ... Great looking bike though
@@TinsonTour Faye can have my Meteor 350 for a reasonable offer. Blue Super Nova, 1300mile and it was registered September 2021. I'm ordering the 650. 🏍️
@@nealdixon7102 just not quick enough , we did a vid on 1 about 9months ago ... another 10bhp and it would defo be a contender
HI Guys, have we missed something? what's happened to the SV ? . BTW Faye we have our fifth grandchild on the way due next May and the name Faye is being spoken.hope this gives you a little smile.
Awwww that's so nice .... as for the sv it was just a tad to tall and stopping on anything other than level ground was a nightmare
It will get better I have last my wife on the 30.10.22 I am fine ding it is very hard to. My wife was 59 years old. Wayne Squires
Awww so sorry Wayne ❤️
My condolences, Faye! By the way, which dealership was that? Great selection of bikes
Thankyou ... it was millenium motorcycles in Sthelens
Try a Triumph Speed Twin. I just bought one, awesome bike.
Lovely looking bike tried 1 at the ponderosa just a tad to tall but not far off
So sad about your brother,i have a great deal of understanding,i have also just lost a relative in the last few weeks, but i want ed to ask about the original bike Faye had was that just a rental so to speak,i must have missed one of your video,s. thanks again keep them coming
Yeah the sv was just a rental and got offered a price just to good to turn down..... long story but will become clear by Xmas... fingers crossed
@@TinsonTour Ok got it thanks for very swift reply bfn peter .
Glad your both doing ok 👍🏻
Keep it twisted..
Many thanks 👍🏍
Sorry to hear about Fayes brother, but, a older friend of mine bought one of them 350 royal Enfields, new without driving it and was very disappointed over weight and under powered, the sv650 will feel like a rocket compared to it ,
Absolutely we had this conversation last year and had so many negative comments , basically Faye rode 1 for about half an hour and at 1 point she struggled to hit a real 70mph which when touring just isn't acceptable... tbh this was just a cheap quick essy vid as we had nothing else with what was going on
@@TinsonTour I understand, I no she will find the right bike, 👍
Dont forget the vulcan has ergo fit so you can change the ergos to suit Faye better. I personaly would get the vulcan all day.
Yeah that's what i was talking about in the vid regarding the pegs , Faye tried the smallest ergo setting about 18months ago
I was about to edit, I watched the video again as the wife wanted to see and I realised you did mention it. Duh me.
Haha no worries ... Great bike but 230kgs !!!! Wtf
A bit easier to manage since it's lower down but yeah. Nice power though I hear.
Lost your brother? Bloody awful, sorry to hear.
The Kawasaki vulcanised s650 looks a good bike.
Thanks Kevin ❤️
don't forget the super metor is coming out soon looks fab and s nit more power than the 350
Yeah spoke about that in the vid .. same weight as a gsa which rules it out unfortunately
oh lol had to have the sound on low as wife was on a call must of missed that
Too heavy for her
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'd love to own that XT500, sadly they are demanding big money now.
Absolutely said the same thing to Faye
Great to see you back on cam Faye. Bike shopping yea canna beat it. Vulcan fits well, but is the engine your cup of tea!. Hopefully your loan bike is a sample of what you want try before you buy kinda thing. Sure footed is always important but so is how it makes you feel. Hi ho, good job Faye never heard that Shawn lol, cruising. Have a great weekend , see you in the next one.
Trouble with the vulcan is the 230kgs dry weight which in our restrictive parking is prob to heavy for her to manoeuvre
biased opinion here as you know but i'd go for the vulcan s and the flat black that faye sat on was the twin to mine .waiting on insurance assesment at the mo
Is it a write off ?
@@TinsonTour to my eyes no but waiting on insurance to get back to me with there decision they have had it for a week .when i spoke to kawasaki they said good possibllity written off due to head stock fracture accuring when ignition barels get forced off like mine was
@@celticwarrior1961 ohhh yeah once headstock is damaged its usually a gonner mainly due to the labour of rebuilding the bike
Hey guys , have you tried the triumph street twin or T 100, both low seat , I have the same issues being normal height like Faye, they do that rebel in an 1100 too, thanks for the videos and I’m sorry to hear about your brother too .
Yeah we tried the 1100 rebel but just a bit to heavy but maybe a good call in the future
They look comfy and I bet go well too, good luck with your searching and I’m looking forward to seeing what you choose, they have a nice iron 883 at my local dealer, I know you enjoyed the one you borrowed 🙂
@@dazjoy4074 loved the iron and maybe with a few more years experience I'll get 1
@@TinsonTour definitely, I love the sound of the engines, perfect for lazy rides on the lanes , I just got a cb1100 rs for bimbling around on and love it, that’s a nice low seat too and lots of good used ones too.
Not sure when all 'normal' bikes had to start around the 200Kg mark 🤨 I mean a 200Kg 350cc really? I guess it's the emissions thing...? Get yourself to Gran Canaria Faye it will do you good. Not sure about the Vulcan to be honest, she's a heavy old girl to push around when Shaun's not there to help.
Finally some1 who gets it ... 👍🏍
@@TinsonTour I'm 5'-6" with an inside leg of 28" and spent 10 years in the '80's doing what Faye's doing now, sitting on bikes trying to get one 'that fits'. You'll get folks that tell you it's about 'technique' and getting one foot flat, and getting the bike 'balanced' when you are pushing it around...ignore it, for now at least, that's for later...find a bike you are comfortable on and with.
Ducati 696 a short bike mate
Just been talking about that
Nice video have you looked at Electric Motorbikes too?
Would love to try an electric bike although not many dealers near us
@@TinsonTour Good point 🙃
Have you considered a Triumph Street Twin, low seat and a very managable bike.I have one and couldnt recommend it highly enough
Yeah tried 1 just a bit to tall unfortunately as i do like them ... if it had no seat on it'd be fine 🤣🤣
@@TinsonTour Oh thats a shame...keep on looking,something will fit eventually...best of luck
I still say a rebel ;)
Or maybe its new brother that's arriving soon
Are the Indian scouts low to the ground
Yeah but weigh more than my car 🤣🤣🤣 although in a couple of years defo a possibility
Not sure when it's available but what about waiting for the RE Hunter 350?
31" seat height so way to tall for me
@@TinsonTour oh, sorry I didn't realise it was that height...thought it was comparable with the Meteor...Good luck with your search👍
What about the hunter. ? Lower and lighter than meteor
31" seat height so in reality way to tall , we lowered the sv650 to around 29"
Actually the hunter is a 800mm seat and the meteor is a 765mm or 745 if you fit the low rider seat option, so no it's not lower I'm afraid 🤷🏻♂️
Hi, have you tried out a Yamaha MT-03 for size? Seat height 780mm, weight 168kg,good mpg and fast enough to tour on 🙂
Actually had a go on the mt03 just over 30" seat height which is to tall , we lowered the sv650 to 29" and that was still 1 tip toe 🤣🤣🤣 short leg probs
Ive missed wht appened to the sv ??
Sold it ..... even lowered it was just to tall , did 2100 miles on it but never felt confident stopping on un even ground
Millenium motorcycles, you must be loaded. bring back tom collins just joking. did two weeks in Whiston hospital after crashing a bent welly.
The only thing we'd buy from millennium is a brew and a butty .... just a lazy way to make a vid 🤣
what happened to all the bike shops , shame.
@@zzzpip I know it's a different word now isn't it
Hhmm, RE Hunter 350?
31" seat height ... way way to tall unfortunately
instead of looking at new bikes look for older models
Nahhh like new bikes , already had a 15yr old fazer 600 lowered suppose its every1 to their own
Tins on Tour, you two use to have the most Amazing Logo and now it's....Ummm (not-so-good) 😞
The old one looked like it was made by a professional and seems like the green would Glow on the black background. 🙂
None are professional 🤣🤣🤣 just free templates off the net
Folks, in my opinion, your last Logo was exceptionally good looking, I am surprised you would change it to something terrible 😞 Please do not change your Username either, us Fans want you to stick to your current Username and 1 good Logo. 🙂
Just sorry
Ar man Shaun you upset her a bit singin hi ho hope you are both well
Hi there there are a lot of bikes out there to suit short people Kimmy here is only 5'11'' and she rides a fat boy lo 2017 im sure you guys will find a bike eventually
Haha yeah but I'm only 4ft 11" ... truth is the riding part is fine it's the maneuvering round the yard where we keep them it's stupidly tight so weight is as much of an issue as height 👍🏍
@@TinsonTour sorry I meant 4 11 as well you could see that in our videos lol and she only has a real short inseam as well
@@kimmyrussAdventures if we had a garage it would be a different story as Faye loved the 883 when she rode it
What happened to Faye's last bike ?
To tall even when lowered so decided to sell her 🏍
@@TinsonTour Take a look at a 950 Yamaha V Star Tourer. It comes with a factory windshield and hard panniers. Seat height 26.6 inches.
@@jamesweber4938 nearly 280kgs ... just couldn't manoeuvre it out the garden on my own I'm only 55kgs 🤣
@@TinsonTour Don't let the weight put you off. Sit on the bike at all times when you are getting the bike out and use your legs to go backwards and the engine to go forwards. Standing at the side of a bike when maneuvering is a recipe for disaster.
@@jamesweber4938 impossible to do that where we keep the bikes , Shauns been riding 34yrs and he has enough trouble getting the bikes out

To heavy which is a shame as it looks pretty nice
