- Hi folks and once again thanks for taking the time to watch this it's very much appreciated by us , in this vid Sinnis kindly lent Faye a demo bike the Hyosung Aquila gv300s it's a cruiser type with a very low seat so much so that even Faye can flat foot it , a longer more indepth review will follow as soon as we can get a weekend away planned .

I swear by bar end mitts in the winter, they are far better than heated grips and have the added benefit of keeping your hands dry. they look a bit food delivery but when your riding all year they are great.
Haha used to have bar mits years ago when i used my bike for work all year round great and simple bits of kit

A winter tip... If you stop with cold hands for a while and have/want to take off ya gloves, stuff em in your jacket till you go. Body heat warms them and makes em more comfy for the rest of the ride. Oh and btw Faye have a Happy Birthday on Monday... go easy on the bubbly stuff!!
Yeah she usually puts them on the heads of the bmw but rookie mistake coming out in summer gloves as it was only meant to be a short ride for breakfast until we got locked out 🤣🤣🤣

I have to agree you need confidence in your bike. I loved my SV. Did 45k in the 12 yrs I had it. My stupid fault that the armco won. Hope that this is the one for you Faye, (unlike Sean who seems to change bikes like others change their socks 🙂)

Love my Hyosung, such an underrated bike. Still not decided if I'm going to stick with it or go for the kawasaki vulcan 650. However, Hyosung do make a gv650 if you can find one. Good luck in deciding what you're going for. Enjoy the ride.

Had a 2022 Vulcan. I part exchanged it but I think it is a fantastic bike, just not for me. I an oldish at 62 with lower back issues and struggled with the feet forward pegs, even on the rear most position. I couldn’t believe how well it handled. Cornering is sublime. It looked brilliant. If you can ride feet forward, I couldn’t recommend this enough.
my hyosung aquila's yes i now have two!!!!!!!! one faye actualy did sit on when we met up going to the ponderosa are both 125 v twins

Nice 1. I got my Bandit 600 same time as Faye got her Fazer. I've dropped it a couple of times too, not good for confidence levels. I'm definitely down sizing when I get chance. Not sure I require that much power, 300 to 500cc I think is perfect for the road. Good luck 👍
Tbh the gv300 is plenty enough for any1 except for top end motorway speeds and even then it just needs a screen
Quite like these. But, there is practically zero, for sale in the UK, and as for me, in Aberdeen. Got no chance, of service etc, up this way. I did e mail them. So far no reply from them. So the Rebel, remains top of my list.
Hopefully you enjoy this bike. They look decent.

As for Celts sticking together I couldn't agree more 👍 Scotland, Wales and Ireland are each being used as guinea pigs in the plan towards the globalist tyrannical agenda. When it comes down to it the English aren't exactly being treated at all well either. There a reason the boats are flooding us with " men of fighting age " United we stand or divided we fall!!

Don’t usually go for that style of bike for myself ,but I like the chunky solid looks of this bike . It has enough power for everyday normal road riding conditions & even suitable for the odd few sections of motorway riding . The only things that really need sorting is that weird gap between seat & tank & the exhaust pipe looks a bit agricultural . The bike suits Faye & her height ,but suspect she wants a bit more power for longer sustained motorway cruising speeds on the longer tours .👍
Absolutely agree ... yeah that gap is a strange thing and some1 once told me the reason it's there but honestly can't remember why 🤣
@@TinsonTour That gap could be to jam your gloves in while sorting out toll money ,or heat expansion of tank when engaging full ramming speed 👍

I see you guys ride out when roads are a bit damp upto last year i never went out unless weather was lovely but after last years riding season i decided to not wrap my bikes up but instead choose one and use it at least 1 hour each month of tje winter i chose my 05 r1200rt i managed to fullfill that promise this year its at least 2 hours per month and now i have my 2 month old r1250gsa rallye te so no excuses. Great to see you guys enjoying days out. I am toying with the idea of either a trip to spandau for factory tour in spring or a trip to spain via the santander ferry .choices
Yeah we ride all year although my hands struggle in the winter ... love the Spain ferry just so nice waking up to sun and mountain roads
@@TinsonTour you guys have made me think about taking an overnighter on my gsa up in scottish borders also before xmas i saw your video about getting shut of the gsa. I am opposite to you dude i love all the gadgets must say though i went down a wet leafy lane today near bakewell so i stopped and slid her into enduro well i was hard pressed to notice any difference i notice slight differences between road and dynamic but nowt major makes me wonder if bm are taking the p*ss withe ride modes

fay have you ever tryed the the bmw f650cs low seat loads of power. one of the lightest 650 s out there..
Yeah tried our friend Linda's on a video last year ... it was the factory lowered model and low seat still tip toes but manageable almost as light as this aquila 300 which is impressive
I've never been a fan of this style of bike... I think it's because they don't look very capable, especially around Twisties but appreciate for shorter riders, they allow for more confidence. I no longer have a bike myself and after riding through a pot hole and damaging my bike, I've kinda lost the love of them. 😔

It's not Chinese? Plus we has a Sinnis terrain that was 3yrs old and still looked like new when we sold it .... but every1 to their own opinion
The bike is manufactured in the Far East but not in China . Also many big name motorcycle companies, have full motorcycles ,built in China or source engines & parts from China . Chances are if you own a fairly new modern motorcycle ,even if not fully built in China ,it could well contain an engine or at least some original Chinese sourced parts . Also any bike used in British winters ,will rust or corrode out ,with lack of care .
