They're are some nice design features about this watch that make it a good field watch. One feature that comes to mind are the integrated bars the band passes through. The quartz movement may look cheap to the eye initially but I've looked at the movement, it's all metal, and looks like a miyota quartz which are pretty tough and dependable. I know GShocks have their fan base, but for me, they are just over sized chunks of resin. The Bertucci is a bit more slim, the lume is quite good. I work in the Maritime industry and I've used this watch on the bridge at 2am and was very pleased with the lume. WR is excellent at 100 to 200m depending on which model you purchase.
