Peak Design is a good company, they honored my Warrantee. I had the older model strap, very similar to the Slide Lite. But the 'sticky stuff' on the strap, turned to black tar, and was coming off onto my shirts, etc... It is like it just turned to 'black goo' after a while. I don't know why. Design flaw? High heat and humidity in Florida where I live? It was about 7-8 years old and Peak Design sent me a brand new Slider Lite to replace it. Honorable company...and I do love their straps.
It may sound stupid but THANKS for mentioning the weight of your setup... Btw, did you think about attaching one button to one strap connector (somewhere to the metal where it takes the strap through) and hanging in the other end to that button, effectively creating a looped strap. Then the remaining strap connector can be connected as a single connection to a button that is attached to the bottom of the camera. No idea how that feels, but the loops at the sides would be no longer an issue.
Nice video, thanks! I use Peak Design Leash and Cuff with my X-T4, and I am happy with them. I have noticed that shooting with the flipout screen opened on the left side of the camera, it is a bit tricky to use the camera strap as a third point of contact to stabilize camera movement. How do you see it?
Thanks! Yeah it's a bit hard when the strap is attached to the sides of the camera. That's why I attach the strap to the bottom of the camera to have complete freedom.
Will the button loops fit through the lugs on the X-T4 without the D rings? I have an L bracket that prevents the D ring from attaching to the right side lug.
I really dislike that the loops keep getting on your face. The strap feels comfortable but unfortunately this is a no for me. But thanks for the suggested solution. I carry a case/ l bracket so I don’t like attaching anchors to the bottom of my camera so … :/ Anyway, I prefer to use the Leash by PD even though it’s less comfortable

Thanks for your videos on this and covering the F38 quick release system! Made it very easy to see how it would work out.
Glad it helped!
Nice video, thanks!

Thanks ! It look perfect on your XT4 😍 Love your blue table
May I ask what camera for your overhead shots you use ? Thanks ! Love the quality work
Fuji X-T4 + Fujinon 16-55.
Somebody on Amazon mentioned buying cheap elastic belt loops to combat the loops on the sides.
That sounds like a good solution!
What camera strap do you use ?
Am gonna use this one. Nice video
@@gunmatic2900 awesome!
I use Gear America, BlackRapid and Herringbone straps but I see lots of photographers use PeakDesign's as well so I want to try it. Great review Roma!
