repairing (bumper)plastic staples

Repairing Rear bumper, First stage of the process...
Plastic heat staples, holding the damaged area,(cracks) into place...
After this step, I use a very strong 3m plastic bonding material, like a plastic glaze bondo...to finish the repair with...
I use to plastic weld all the cracks up, with the proper plastic material rods, bit now 3m makes a product, that makes my job easier....

Thanks for sharing. Your method will definitely come in handy to patch a similar hole on my front bumper. What did you used to filled and feathered that patch afterwards?

finished it with a 3M urethane plastic bonding material...it's a 2 part bonding material that is just as strong as plastic welding a bumper..
if you have a missing piece or a crack in the bumper, that material will be your best bet...
You wouldn't have to plastic staple like I did in this video...
That is the strongest plastic bonding material I've ever use
