My son graduated from Morehouse College. If I had ten sons and ten daughters, I would encourage them to go to Morehouse and Spellman colleges.

Even though it’s not on the list, Jackson State University is an AMAZING school that teaches Black excellence, Black history, and local Black history in addition to having an excellent science and nursing program, a wide variety of sports, and an extensive music program. Thee I Love 💙

Hampton should be on any serious list after selling out. They lost the battle of HU by abandoning the MEAC while Howard is fighting to keep the MEAC alive.

St. they have been in a “white” conference for years. I think they made the decision they thought was best for them at the time and in the future, along with A&T. We currently have the most alums elected to Congress and the current CEO of ABC News is a graduate. In addition, FAMU is the only PUBLIC HBCU in FL but FL is also home to Edward Waters, Bethune, and Florida Memorial.

Savannah State University is a hidden gem among the hbcus...my son is a freshman..... the dorms great, the education they receive great, the professors awesome.... the caring for your child outstanding...food great .. what I'm saying small campus by the water (3800) students.. in a very cool city..... please parents give it some research time and you'll find out what I know...a beautiful campus.... there's sooo much more I can say... but I type too slow..

Nothing like the foundational HBCU experience! My family is filled with HBCU grads and expect the 3rd generation to join us in 2023. As a Howard alumna and proud mother of a Morehouse man our fam also has a Spelman alumna, 2 South Carolina State Bulldogs and 1 Johnson C. Smith alum. We've obtained graduate degrees from PWI's and enjoyed rewarding careers but that unshakeable foundation was firmly established at our respective HBCU's. Embrace our institutions of higher learning!!!

There they will find a sense of community and foster meaningful relationships that will allow them to build successful networks to aid them later in life. This will better prepare them for the veiled microaggressions and inequities they will certainly face in the workplace and society as a whole. Other communities follow their traditions without ridicule my family will follow ours.

As a veteran, I watch rise of online and distance education in many forms, yet we rally see HBCU frequent these spaces. Even with COViD, one who think things would change. As a black veteran, I would have love for my Montgomery GiBill and Post 9-11 GiBill to go to a HBCU.

A&T cost is no differ than Tenn St they both are public institutions if you coming from out of state in either one of course it will cost more than it would being a resident of that state. The big question is, How Tenn St is ranked among other institutions within its own state that offers Engineering degrees. A&T is ranked 1st out of all Engineering schools in the state of North Carolina bypassed NC State yrs ago. NC A&T also ranks high among all Engineering school in the South now that huge

The reason A&T's school of Engineering is ranked so high is that every dept of engineering it offers is top notch and doctrinal degrees they offer as well as space engineering. But A&T isn't just known for their school of engineering, Accounting, nursing, IT, sports medicine, veterinary medicine, nanoscience, nanoengineering, agriculture, science biomedical, biomedical engineering, and more, just academically is in the forefront that's just unmatched. A&T has been producing the most black engineers in the world since the 90s they will never be outdone in that category.
So many HBCUs are extraordinary. I believe my undergraduate school is exceptional, but it won't end up on this list. It has produced many very prominent scholars. I believe a state by state list should be done, featuring the school's top 10 graduates. That would be fairer.

A&T cost is no differ than Tenn St they both are public institutions if you coming from out of state in either one of course it will cost more than it would being a resident of that state. The big question is, How Tenn St is ranked among other institutions within its own state that offers Engineering degrees. The reason A&T's school of Engineering is ranked so high is that every dept of engineering it offers is top notch and doctrinal degrees they offer as well as space engineering. But A&T isn't just known for their school of engineering, Accounting, nursing, IT, sports medicine, veterinary medicine, nanoscience, nanoengineering, agriculture, science biomedical, biomedical engineering, and more, just academically is in the forefront that's just unmatched. A&T has been producing the most black engineers in the world since the 90s they will never be outdone in that category.

So many HBCUs are extraordinary. I believe my undergraduate school is exceptional, but it won't end up on this list. It has produced many very prominent scholars. I believe a state by state list should be done, featuring the school's top 10 graduates. That would be fairer.
