It's not an all day breakfast if it's not served all day! the breakfast is excellent, had it there a few times, think I'd have gone there first instead of Bahnstomer's.
This is by my old work so rode past it 100’s of times. Hadn’t been in for many years though. Many very nice places near by to go for breakfast or a tea to warm up.
Hi Andy, another really enjoyable biker Scran. Just a massive thank you from me for the splendid entertainment you post all year on your channel. Wishing you Carol and family a merry Christmas, and a very good New Year. Thank you.
A great video, and good to see you actually get to go inside this time. Such a shame it didn't live up to expectations. Looks like the ride out was much better than the destination. On a better note, Bahnstormers looks well worth a visit, and a decent cuppa to boot, and the Speed Twin sounded amazing on the video. Wishing Geoff and Dan and their families a very merry Christmas. Also to the whole Missenden Flyer clan, and looking forward to much fun and laughter (and serious content) next year. Waiting with bated breath for saturdays adventure.
I bought my GS from Bahnstormer in Alton, fantastic customer service and great cafe. The Iron Bull definitely looked a bit disappointing. Have a great Christmas and thanks for all your videos this year.
As a regular visitor to the Iron Bull I was surprised at your opinion. Acareful look at their Face Book page and you would have seen that they have separate menus for breakfast - served up until 13:00 and lunch - served from 13:00. I have yet to have a meal that was not hot and tasty in the 2 years I've been visiting the 'Bull. As per the previous message, perhaps you were just unlucky. The Iron Bull came 5th in this year's rating on the UK Biker Cafes leader board.
That's great to hear - thanks for putting another side of the story - I'd only ever heard good reviews of the place, hence why we were keen to go back.....
Great video once again, love these cafe experiences. Having just arrived in High Wycombe from NZ for Christmas I can relate to the great roads around the area. Merry Christmas.
Thanks for posting, it's always a joy to see the "Scran Crew" out and about. Pity about the poor service but the ride is the thing - for me anyway (and a few chips lol) Merry Christmas everyone. :>)
I enjoyed today's ride and meet up. Good friends are to be appreciated, we all have lost so many over the years. Since it's a Wednesday and just before Christmas, I'd have to give the restaurant another try in summer on a weekend. The pricing factor sometimes wins out. It's salt season in Ohio-was a joy to be a ride a long with the three of you. Cheered me up.!! Battery charging and just sitting on the bikes is my norm this time of year.... did I mention a new arrival in the spring? A new RE Classic 350. YEA.!!! 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️
I've been there a couple of times and the food was nice. I used to live near Twyford, so was lovely seeing you ride such familiar roads. I loved a bike ride out to Alton Bahnstormers. Fabulous roads out that way. I usually carried on to Loomies (liked seeing other bikes!). Iron Bull was sometimes a coffee stop on the way back towards Reading, either there or Alton Station cafe. Anyway, have a fab Xmas 🌲 🎉!!
Thoroughly entertaining Biker Scran, TMF. Always good to see the boys. Looked a lovely ride. Very nice parking indeed at the end. What a pillock. Many thanks for 2023, and a very Merry Xmas and New Year's to you and yours.
Regarding Tracy as a name for a man, here in the good old USA, we have men with the name of Tracy. My Dad’s middle name was Tracy. Great video! Nice to see folks having fun and joking about.
A merry Christmas to all involved and well done on behalf of investigative journalism. Good to see everything is not always rosy, amazing what the mention of social media makes to otherwise disinterested attitudes. Should roll it out around the UK..... Look out Biker Cafes you could be next......!
As always a great biker scran vid. I totally agree with your final comments. After your initial try a while back, when you guys found it shut, a friend and myself stopped in there whilst my Z1000SX was being worked on by Greenham Kawasaki. I was not impressed by the menu, or the cost, or the service. Especially as it states its biker cafe (of sorts). The establishment was clean through out, but thats not it all. Unfortunately Loomies has gone down hill a bit too. So finding a coffee and scran stop off point mid ride in that area is starting be a struggle. As always, keep doing what you're doing. Merry Christmas and a splendid New Year, to you and Mrs Flyer.
There's one for a review for ya......🤔🤫😉 it has freaking blinkers on the handgards 😮😳 Merry christmas and a healthy, happy newyear for you and family. Greetings from Dutchland 😉
Good honest review, should have turned right though, and gone up to the Shack Cafe on the London road Hook. Guarenteed old school fry up and a decent mug of tea at sensible prices. Merry Christmas.
Have to agree about the Iron Bull - it was 'limited menu' when I visited (because of an evening event) and it was all a bit quiet. Folks at Bahnstormer's always friendly and professional, and efficient 'while you wait' servicing. Can I suggest the Honey Street Cafe in the Pewsey Vale for when you are heading south again - very much a cyclists and walkers place but bikers very welcome.
Sad to hear you weren't to keen on the Iron Bull, it's a regular for me on summer weekends, buzzing with bikers and the staff are absolutely excellent and nosh always good, especially the cakes :) you're route seemed a bit strange to Alton but I recognize immediately you got to Wellington roundabout :) Wednesday lunchtimes are Blackbushe airport for future reference and don't forget to try Pinewood cafe on a Tuesday or Friday evening (in summer haha). Merry Christmas & happy new year :)
Another great scram video, Andy, its just a shame you live so far south that you can never get up to our northern venues especially the Trough of Bowland, Lake District and the Yorkshire dales, so many great biker cafes in fantastic scenery.
I live in the South and I agree...it's a shame!! Our roads are in dreadful condition and overcrowded.. usually a joy to ride or drive away from the SE....ride safe everyone
Chaps, sorry it didn’t work out, but hopefully you will have a better experience next time out. I have to admit, on this side of the pond and ever since Covid, restaurant service has gotten quite bad. My wife and I consider ourselves very fortunate if the food turns up hot. Wishing you and your families the very best in 2024.
Thanks for the amazing content you produced: informative, entertaining, good heartened and helpful. Since I decided to make a new start with biking back in 2020, yours had been a channel that guided me through this new journey after a 20 years long pause. Thanks and a very happy Christmas to you and Mrs Flyer ✌️
The food did look a bit disapointing; especially the lack of an all day breakfast option. Long ride; but if you went a little further you could have ended up at Loomies near Petersfield. Perhaps one for the lighter warmer days? 🏍🙂
Good job again! 👍👍. You do realise that "Michelin Stars" started in this fashion and look at it now! Ride safe and all the best for the festive period!
Pitty you didnt enjoy the Iron Bull Roadhouse! Its my second home pretty much I love it there. But bit sad you didnt have the good experience I normally have. Will pass this on thank you for the constructive criticism! Brilliant video as always!!
Great fun to watch, you guys have a great comradery, a decent hello when visisting any food establishment is a must for me, I can cook a decent meal myself so when I go out the service is really important to me, along with hot food and something to be able to eat it with, I thought your review was very kind to be honest. Pat's Baps it is for me and my mates next time we are going on our own Biker Scran. Merry Christmas to you, Mrs Flyer, and the family, hope your shoulder is healing nicely, looking forward to my next visit to Japan.
I keep meaning to say Andy, I really love your garage choice of bikes. You have a tourer, adventure, retro/cafe racer and you previously had a sports bike (Ducati). It's definitely something, if I had the money of course, would do exactly the same thing. It's a great way of picking the bike you fancy a ride on or bike that suits the weather at the time.
Hi Andy, I love the Scran videos and this was another good one. Sadly, my biking trips have been temporarily suspended, due to having had Rotator cuff surgery a couple of weeks ago. On a happier note, I can live the biker dream vicariously, and very enjoyably through you and a few other biking UA-camrs. Thanks for the content chum.
Your welcome Steven - I had shoulder surgery three weeks ago (part of my shoulder blade removed, part of my collar bone removed and the joint cleaned out) - so no riding for me at the moment either.....grim!
@@TheMissendenFlyer Ouch, I had 3 RC tendons re-attached a bit of collar bone removed and cleaned up. All things considered, I'm not as sore as I was fearing, still got 3 weeks left in the sling, then the work starts. I hope your recovery goes well and quickly
Hi Andy, Thank you for another great Biker Scran video and Thank You for telling it exactly like it was, much credit to you for that. I thought it was a very accurate reflection of what you found. Well done mate. Happy Christmas and have a great New Year to you , Carol and family
You should try the PATHFINDER cafe at Blackbushe airport. Nothing exceptional...just nice, reasonably priced and a nice place to hang out (and feed your passion for aircraft)
Another great Biker Scran video. Thanks for highlighting the ‘cafe’ at Bahnstormer, it’s not far from us at Alresford we may just have to take a ride up there for a coffee in the New Year. Here’s wishing you a speedy recovery from the op, and a very Merry Christmas to Carol and your good self 👍🏻 (several cafes in our little town for BSran 🤔).
Yes Andy, it does seems harsh and not very Christmassy and I haven`t been myself. But when you review places kindly on our behalf and your confronted with un-friendly staff, luke warm food and water dripping from it, its not what we want or deserve when spending our hard earned when out for a ride. Keep up the good fight trying to find us nice places to stop and feed our faces. We might be bikers to the core but we have feelings too and these places should appreciate our soft burger loving underbellies. HAPPY CHRISTMAS to my fellow subbies and to you as our glorious leader, bravely battling the elements to find the food truth that is out there.
YES love a biker scran video. No breakfast that's very disappointing. Hope you have a great Christmas Andy and thanks for all your videos this year. Keep up the good work in 2024.
As mainland-dwelling black tea junkie I used to think that Blightey's gastronomy is heaven when it comes to preparing tea right. Seeing this cup of what can only be lukewarm water anymore, I couldn't believe my eyes. 😵💫 Traumatizing!!1! 😱
My last visit was mid afternoon too and found the staff very friendly though. Grub was good if as you said, a limited choice later in the day. What is it with BMW and Audi drivers they seems to be in a competition for who is the biggest knob head!!
Good stuff, I live in Alton and there are some good roads; head over to West Sussex, lovely. But it looks like you came all the way down to Alton and didn't take the A339 to Basingstoke.....
A very enjoyable biker scran. I know that place well as I used to live just up the road, it wasn't up to much in its 2 previous incarnations either. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
10 mins down the road from Bahnstormer is Loomies. Great bikers cafe. Much better place. Thoroughly recommended for next time. Thanks for great vids. Merry Christmas!
Well worth it. Especially at busier times. It’s an experience, as well as a damn good fry up. Usually lots of bikes to see and bike chats to have. Good for the soul.
Thank you, Andy, Dan, and Jeff! The scrans are always a highlight. Too bad you had a bah-humbug experience this time. Have a great holiday season and looking forward to more great content in '24!
I'm from that area and I have been to the iron bull once. I would not go ever again £3.50 for a cup of tea then as soon as I sat down I was asked if I could finish up. (Could not believe what I was hearing) if you turn left out of their and keep going down the a30 you will come to.blackbush airport which has path finders cafe which is a good place to try
Sorry but I have to call you out on your comment - it's absolutely not true! We have never charged above £2.50 for a tea and have never once since we opened the roadhouse asked a customer to "finish up" or vacate their table. Our reviews across social media are testament to our customer focus and fair prices. Why you would make up something like that is beyond me.
@ironbullroadhouse I have read your comment and it is very true and did happen so to say it did not to totally wrong to try and boost the business. I was charged £3.50 and yes as I sat down with a few sips of my drink, one member of staff came out and asked me to finish up. ( I was sitting in the garden) I was in shock . I know you don't want negative comments about the business but look at it as a way of improving issues that arise. This issue happened a while back so may have improved since then but because of it , I have never returned. I am just explaining the time i had there and that was just the once ihope all the best for the roadhouse and the future.
@@timalick2 I started this business and have run it for the entire time it has been open, so I do know what I am talking about. You are also welcome to come down and view our drinks prices. I can prove through our PoS software that we have never once ever charged more than £2.50 for a tea, and I believe our more than 500 reviews speak volumes as to our customer service. I stand by my previous response.
Our PoS system can prove that we have never charged more than £2.50 for a tea. I still stand by my previous comment and totally refute your accusation no matter how many times you assert it having supposedly happened. Our 500+ reviews with an average of 5* speak for themselves.@@timalick2
Lovely ride..........if ever there was an argument for a chain oiler, that was it!! (Tutoro fitted to my T120....) Have a great and safe Christmas break, everyone!
Well Andy the leaves still on the trees give the game away🤗. An all day breakfast only available at presumably breakfast🤔. Never mind better luck next time or go back to the Pat's Baps. Happy Christmas and new year to you.
Man-oh-mano, Andy! Are you in for big fun in 2024. Honda is about to release a new, vamped-up VFR800F Interceptor. It has a completely new engine design that is allegedly beefier. The new plastics incorporate the best of earlier designs. Heated handgrips are standard and offer five settings. The front fork is redesigned and upgraded. The single-sided swing-arm, so characteristic of the VFR, remains. Headlamps and tail lamps are all LED. Dash is tricked-out and 21st Century TFT cool, with variable dash settings, ABS, and rider modes.
Absolutely love your channel from here in the States. Excellent content and entertaining at the same time. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and the Mrs and all your followers.
enjoy watching the biker scran ride outs,Jeffery can certainly make his bike move when he wants to. Got a feeling there’s a 1300 gs coming to your garage very shortly.
@@TheMissendenFlyer that's fair enough then, there is nothing like a good all day breakfast when you fancy it though! In Redditch we have a Tapas Bar that doesn't actually serve Tapas! 😂😂
Haha, the Audi driver was the manager getting his/her own back after your comments 😂. Another great video. So Luv the bikes scrams. Have a great Christmas to u, Jeff, Dan n all yr families. 🎉🌲
Bahnstormer! it's says Alton on the address, but it's actually in Farringdon on the A32. Which is another lovely road to ride, with Loomies cafe at West Meon about halfway down towards Wickham. Odiham to Alton is one of my favourite roads to ride. 👍
Palmieris Cafe opposite Bahnstormer Maidenhead is a very good cafe try the all day breakfast 52 Furze Platt Road Maidenhead SL6 7NN And have a great Chrismas And A happy new year J
You've unpinned the Iron Bull comment?! Despite the dining experience another great scran..banter always enjoyable..patience required with the shoulder recovery definitely…from my own rotator cuff surgery some years back. Wishing all TMF household a very merry christmas and enjoyable new year. 🎅
Hi, I had rotator cuff problems 2 years ago, fortunately no surgery required. Physio sorted mine. Getting out of the bath one handed is more difficult than anyone could imagine. Hope you are OK now.

If you arrive too late for an All Day Breakfast there's something very wrong with the universe.
To be fair it was just "breakfast" on the menu - we were after the all day variant.....
😂
Half day breakfast?? Lol
The Iron Bull doesn't do an all day breakfast. They do have a great lunch and dinner menu though.

We might be bikers to the core but we have feelings too and these places should appreciate our soft burger loving underbellies. HAPPY CHRISTMAS to my fellow subbies and to you as our glorious leader, bravely battling the elements to find the food truth that is out there.
Cheers Darren - Merry Christmas!
YES love a biker scran video.
No breakfast that's very disappointing.
Hope you have a great Christmas Andy and thanks for all your videos this year. Keep up the good work in 2024.
Will do Matt - thanks for watching and for dropping by again....
As mainland-dwelling black tea junkie I used to think that Blightey's gastronomy is heaven when it comes to preparing tea right. Seeing this cup of what can only be lukewarm water anymore, I couldn't believe my eyes. 😵💫 Traumatizing!!1! 😱
Yes - to me that was shocking indeed....was always going to be an uphill struggle after that!!
My last visit was mid afternoon too and found the staff very friendly though. Grub was good if as you said, a limited choice later in the day. What is it with BMW and Audi drivers they seems to be in a competition for who is the biggest knob head!!
...Range Rover drivers come close too.....
Good stuff, I live in Alton and there are some good roads; head over to West Sussex, lovely. But it looks like you came all the way down to Alton and didn't take the A339 to Basingstoke.....
Always enjoy a Biker Scran. I look forward to a nice cup of tea in a cafe but don't like their idea of make it yourself.
No - I've never seen that in Britain before, not good!
It's nice to see the inside of the famous Barnstormers!
Yes isn't it!
A very enjoyable biker scran. I know that place well as I used to live just up the road, it wasn't up to much in its 2 previous incarnations either. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
And to you!
10 mins down the road from Bahnstormer is Loomies. Great bikers cafe. Much better place. Thoroughly recommended for next time. Thanks for great vids. Merry Christmas!
We always thought Loomies was too far away but having now done that run maybe it's doable for a summer Scran!
Thanks, you too!
Interesting - maybe we didn't go on an off day then!
@ironbullroadhouse
I have read your comment and it is very true and did happen so to say it did not to totally wrong to try and boost the business.
Outdoor Cafe... ermmm not thought that one through in the winter. Nice ride gents
Well it might be the only place they could fit one! In fairness the tea was better at Bahnstormer than it was at the fancy pants cafe!!
@@TheMissendenFlyer that place is huge inside... Yes your meals looked a little bit drab 😭
Great video again tmf …have a great November …I mean Christmas and a happy new year
Shhh!!! I think I might have got away with it…
Lovely ride..........if ever there was an argument for a chain oiler, that was it!! (Tutoro fitted to my T120....) Have a great and safe Christmas break, everyone!
You are of course right!
WOW.....and it's in print!!! (that has never happenned before.......lol!)@@TheMissendenFlyer
Well Andy the leaves still on the trees give the game away🤗. An all day breakfast only available at presumably breakfast🤔. Never mind better luck next time or go back to the Pat's Baps. Happy Christmas and new year to you.
To be fair the cafe never said they did an all day breakfast - just breakfast....it was us that wanted an all dayer....Happy Christmas to you too!
Next up, a VRF1000R V4 sport bike to give Ducati a run for its money.
Merry Christmas, Andy and Carol love your videos,,,,,,how is that shoulder repair doing ,,,,,,,hope all is well
Thanks for asking - not sure is the answer as I haven't had this done before, I do know that it flippin hurts and I'm not able to ride a bike yet!
YEA!!!!! I just Love the SCRANzzzzz ,, also I understand SARGENT will be making a "a COMFY seat" for the new GS early in 24
I’m sure they will!
Thanks for all you've shared with us this year Andy. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and Carol.
Cheers Ian - you too! 🎄
Haha ending was great, merry Christmas to you and the misses. Be well.
And to you!
A proper biker cafe is an all day breakfast
Haha last time I Heard 'blimey'was delboy...good video 😊
admire your honesty .its not having a go at anyone . enjoyed the video ,best wishes for Christmas and the new year to you all .
Same to you!
Thanks for this and every other 2023 episode Andy, Merry Xmas to you and your family too!
Merry Christmas!
First time i saw that scooter i told the salesman that the brochure rack on the front was empty......not a joke🤬
Down here 🇦🇺 all day breakfast means all day whilst there open. Anyway Best Wishes to all over the Festive Season and the New Year. 😊
To be fair the cafe never said they did an all day breakfast - just breakfast....it was us that wanted an all dayer....
Enjoyed the video, that BMW dealership was posh
Yes it was - shame I live so far away or I’d be a regular!
Best of the holiday season to you Andy & the Mrs. Thanks for all your entertaining videos.
Our pleasure!
Merry Christmas! Thank you for sharing another year of great information, adventure and entertainment in the Moto world.
Our pleasure!
Absolutely love your channel from here in the States. Excellent content and entertaining at the same time. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and the Mrs and all your followers.
Thank you - Merry Christmas to you too!
Excellent video and yes Audi drivers are a law onto themselves very strange parking. Should have had food at BMW Dealerships.
I’ve nothing against Audi drivers per se - just that one!
enjoy watching the biker scran ride outs,Jeffery can certainly make his bike move when he wants to. Got a feeling there’s a 1300 gs coming to your garage very shortly.
Really? What makes you think that??
A right turn out of Bahnstormers would have taken you straight to Loomies Cafe, the main biker Cafe for the region…and more great roads
Yes many have commented the same - shame we didn't realise, probably a better bet and neither of us have ever been I don't think....
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to everyone, looking forward to next year’s TMF ride safely
Seasons greetings sir, have a good un, hope the shoulder is healing well
Thank you - so far so painful!! Missing riding….
Great viewing the scran videos.
I am yet to check out "Pat's Baps"...Loomies near Barstormer BMW is one of my more frequent stops...Have a Good Christmas Andy & Carol....Cheers 🎄🏍👍👋
I must get there one day - Merry Christmas to you too!
@@TheMissendenFlyer 👍
Great episode Andy, as usual. You would think the clue is in the name with the all day breakfast!
To be fair that was our want - they only advertise a "breakfast" which is available until 1pm
@@TheMissendenFlyer that's fair enough then, there is nothing like a good all day breakfast when you fancy it though! In Redditch we have a Tapas Bar that doesn't actually serve Tapas! 😂😂
As a student I went to a KFC in Surbiton that had no chicken......
@@TheMissendenFlyer 😂😂
Haha, the Audi driver was the manager getting his/her own back after your comments 😂. Another great video. So Luv the bikes scrams. Have a great Christmas to u, Jeff, Dan n all yr families. 🎉🌲
Glad you enjoyed - Merry Christmas!
That looks like the morrisons you used to use when you did your in depth reviews including putting petrol in the tank
It could well be - it’s the only one around here that I know of!
@TheMissendenFlyer I must be a long time subscriber
Thank you for that!
@TheMissendenFlyer you and the content make it a pleasure have a great Christmas to you and the family andy
Thank you - you too!
Wow that trumpy has a lovely exhaust note, if only the Enfield 650 had a note like that
Yes nice isn’t it
Try the 1066 cafe on the A21 just south of Robertsbridge. A real bikers cafe for us in Sunny Sussex.
Bahnstormer! it's says Alton on the address, but it's actually in Farringdon on the A32. Which is another lovely road to ride, with Loomies cafe at West Meon about halfway down towards Wickham.
Odiham to Alton is one of my favourite roads to ride. 👍
Nice!
Empty car park at 13.00hrs said it all.
Audio is spot on andy.
Thank you!
was the guy called tracey riding a thunderbird
Turns out it was Tracie - and he was on a GS....
the joke was tracey (tracy island ) 😂@@TheMissendenFlyer
Yeah I got that.....
Loved watching your channel , merry Christmas and a Happy New year
Cheers Paul - and to you!
Not sure if I'm being too picky, but I always thought that one of the attractions of 'An All Day Breakfast' was that it was served All Day!!
To be fair they weren't advertising an all day breakfast, just breakfast - we however fancied an all day one...
I liked the sound and video quality and as a Speed Twin 1200 owner it’s always good to see you riding your one.
Have a good Christmas to you and yours
Excellent - might have cracked the new camera and mic combo!
Palmieris Cafe opposite Bahnstormer Maidenhead is a very good cafe try the all day breakfast 52 Furze Platt Road Maidenhead SL6 7NN
And have a great Chrismas And A happy new year
J
There’s an idea! (I bought my GS there)….
Love the Biker Scan videos. Merry Christmas.
Great video. Great fun. If you are ever in the west of Ireland in peak season.... the fooood.... some tiny villages have very, very good restaurants.
I'll get there one day - maybe in '24 if finances and time allow!
The breakfasts there are the best they do 💪🏻
I’ll have to take your word for that!
May be a bit of a trek but Baffle haus near Abergavenny is a brilliant biker stop
Yes I only hear good things about it!
You've unpinned the Iron Bull comment?!
Despite the dining experience another great scran..banter always enjoyable..patience required with the shoulder recovery definitely…from my own rotator cuff surgery some years back. Wishing all TMF household a very merry christmas and enjoyable new year. 🎅
I haven't unpinned anything!
Just checked and see the comment is no longer there - I guess the person that posted it deleted it!! I'll pin this one instead!
Hi, I had rotator cuff problems 2 years ago, fortunately no surgery required. Physio sorted mine. Getting out of the bath one handed is more difficult than anyone could imagine. Hope you are OK now.
It's going to be a long road....I've sufferred with that shoulder for 34 years (when I had a frisby related accident and first dislocated it)
Whoever it was, it wasn't an official response from the Iron Bull, I have provided my response in a separate comment@@TheMissendenFlyer
