I’m definitely going to experiment with the fire build too. That’s what I was originally running but as soon as I saw what was possible with lighting I put my effort into that.
Actually I did originally try doing this but with it being RNG, Lava Burst usually being on cooldown, not wanting to cap Maelstrom, and the fact that you can’t Lava Burst with Surge of Power means that targetting this buff specifically is very difficult. I just go with a “Jesus take the wheel” approach and if it’s there during my combo then great…if not whatever 😅
sadly this build is basically already dead again because the devs have removed volacanic surge, skybreakers fiery demise and the .25s casttime reduction on lightning bolt and chain lightning. 30% lower damage on the lightning damage and quite alot higher casttime means you will be almost doing nothing outside of the stormbringer window once the 20th anniversary patch hits. not sure what these guys are smoking... but they certainly seem to hate lightning builds.

Honestly I'm still experimenting with the secondary stats. However it seems like Versatility is still the best PvP stat by a mile? Hard to say with this specific build what's best because Mastery is a little better in this build than others because of the focus on overloads. However I don't think you can go wrong with Haste.

Do you know what talent is causing a random stormkeeper charge to generate and only does so like every 45 or 50 seconds? It seems to generate off any offensive spell, or at least LB, LVB, or CL..i can't figure it out!

I think it could work in solo shuffle because it's a bit more chaotic and less organized. However in normal organized 3v3 I don't see it working at higher ratings because good teams will line of sight and spread out your Stormkeeper damage. Luckily this isn't a viable strategy in Battleground Blitz (what I originally designed this build for) because it's objective based and running away/heavily turtling means you forfeit the objective.
Is there any way you can copy your WA addon that includes this target circle or make video for whole UI that you have in WoW? But like in next few days not months 🤣

Yea I’ve been thinking about that. Are you Earth Shocking every time Lightning Rod falls off? Even doing that you’ll get to high maelstrom (just a bit more slowly)
I don’t think so but I’m sure there will be modifications. Some things like the overload mechanics will be even more nutty. Hard to say right now with how quickly things are changing.

Same here with WW monk not using celestials/tiger. All builds feel fun and viable. Pleasantly surprised with TWW from a PVP standpoint so far.
I prefer this build, been playing it since launch. I feel like it outperforms the fire/farseer build in most situations

It still works. Yea the burst sequence is pretty intense and definitely takes some practice.

Attentive players might notice the lack of Ancestors but they still wouldn’t know you were Stormkeeper until it was go time.

what stats are important ? like more crit or more haste / mastery ?

Isn't using lightning shield instead of earth troll in PvP ? You won't heal much and lose survivability.
You can actually use both earth and lighting shield if you take the “Elemental Orbit” talent in the Shaman class tree.

It’s a super complex weak aura. I’ll probably make a video on my UI at some point since I get a lot of questions about it.
Why goblin ?
The jump / fall damage immunity is unironically really good for BG Blitz, Haste is a good stat for us as well...but primarily the swag factor.
