Viv was the best. I noticed without surprise that the huge Aussie crowd, who did NOT come out to see Australia lose, nonetheless enthusiastically applauded his shots. Cricket crowds are the best too.
Sir Viv was 1 of the only batsmen to score so many 100s and never remove his helmet to celebrate ;-D
He never wore a helmet 😂
Australians now love to say Australia is a racist country..but I lived during the era of Viv and I can tell you Aussies loved Viv. A fantastic batsman. Yeah we loved it when our guys got him him out, but we loved him all the same. Great man, great batsman!
Look at those shoulders ,arms, forehands chest and the whole physique fo that matter..he could carry the world on his shoulders..
Without helmet he has Average of 47 in odi and 50 in test is sheer remarkable .imagine if he would have played in this era.
Sir Vic Richards, cricket will always proud of you.
More videos on Sir Viv please...
Thanks for this one...
Sir Modern cricket will be grateful to you.
So confident so cool looking so authoritative so relaxed . Unique combination.
As a Cricket loving Australian teenager. This West Indian side made me very very depressed. If our Batsmen lived through the Blistering Pace attack, the Batsmen, Greenidge, Haynes, Richards, Lloyd etc, etc. I sit back and watch now and Marvel. Without doubt the Greatest Cricket Team of all time. I had the Great Pleasure of seeing Sir Vivian Richards bat at the MCG, the most amazing and Brutal batting performance I have ever seen, No batting Helmet, didn't need one. Thank you Sir Vivian, Very fond memories of our Game.
In 1984
106 of just 95 balls

A great cricketer and man, Sir Viv Richards and some great commentators in Richie Benaud and Tony Greig. So good hearing their voices again.
Never watch viv richards playing but i have watch virender sehwag... He was equally a destructive batsman as viv....
What a great player Sir Viv Richards was !
@Darren Gouch 💩🇦🇺🇵🇰
Best batsman ever. He was ahead of his time!!!
Most fearless batsman ❤❤❤
All time greatest player
What a shots all-round of the wickets
Long live with happy ret life
VV CBE
Can’t compare viv with any batsman to be honest be it sachin, lara, kallis kohli plus more. He is one batsman that has no comparison
Absolute truth.......
Not only single time he was step up to hit any boundary Pure cricketing skill …Master of era Sir viv Richard
The best ever batsman to play this game!!
O my God how mch this man is brilliant in his game . May God give us a palyer in present days to watch
He was a king. He played waith uncomparble authority and command . No comparison. Today there are many good players like kohli sachin ponting lara but they are greats of a spesific period. I VA Richard is all time great. Dont involve statastics and figures. You cannot judge him through records. His batting was of such a class that never ever be defined in cricketing termnologies. It can only be appreciated by those who were lucky enough to see him in field.
Mr Viv ,no bowler like you,but I like you,I wish Many many happy returns of the day.
Once the great Viv Richards said" i did justice to the God given talent " and he really did that.
Respect. What humble man.
This is when cricket was really exciting
Look how passionate the fans are for cricket ❤
That is the golden era of cricket, boundary is to long, no sweet spot on bat
An absolute legend..long live king Viv Richards..what a batsman..pure master class
Viv the Emperor, no current generation player come close to him.
My all time fav batsman great sir vivian richard
The thing I like about these great players that they can be relied upon to play against strong teams
Viv Richards - Maybe the greatest nightmare of any bowler
0:35 , 1:24 adaptability for delivery is tremendous 😊😊😊😊
The one and only best player of cricket
He is way ahead of other
He was the Chris Gayle of that time . For me he's greater than any player of all time ❤️❤️
Gayle can't hold a candle to Viv.
Gayle is nothing infront of sir Vivian Richards. Real GOD of cricket sir viv
Not one of the best but best Player World has ever produced
Facing fast bowlers without the helmet was really insane & he took them head on.
I think Viv would have thrived playing T20. I enjoyed watching him play when I was a young player.
🙏Most destructive batsman in World Cricket🙏
Viv Richards is A Real King of Cricket.
Viv is the real true master blaster. Ask any cricketer of his generation who was the best and they would say Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards without a doubt. He smashed Lillee , Thompson and Hogg at their peaks. He crucified the big 4 in Kapil, Imran, Hadlee and Botham. David Gower once said the only way to beat West Indies was to make Viv English. Nobody could contain his batting when he was on song. Long live King Richards, the greatest living cricket legend.
Fearless batsmen of the era
No Helmet, Big Ground, old Bat
Viv to today's batsmen - Ye karke dikhao ji !
@Darren Gouch stop spamming Australia 💩💩🇦🇺
@@RAGEESports10 kohli is once a king always a king. So he is better than Richards. Bro you can understand it by shot selection. Richards does not have a good shot selection.
So we have a bad habit of always over rating older generation . Hypocrisy at the next level👏👏
Manish pandey is a better batsman than Viv Richards. Manish Pandey scored an unbeaten century against Australia in Australia in Sydney in SCG while chasing the target of 330 and won the match. Manish Pandey is better than Viv Richards.
