I saw your video, it’s an amazing bike but a seat made of plywood 😅 This is a much better seat than stock, especially for the money, but I know a few USA made seats are better, but for double or triple the money.

old bikes used to have pillows instead of seats. My old b1200 had an extremely confortable seat. Even my 2005 sv650 seat is better than new one. I don't know if brands are trying to save money on foam or if it is a design rule...
I agree about the stock seats. I own a 2020 SV650 and a 2020 DRZ400SM. I replaced the stock SV seat with a Corbin seat. It’s a lot better. It is pricey though. The stock seat on the DRZ is awful. I replaced it with a Seat Concepts low profile comfort seat. It makes the seat height 1 inch lower than the stock seat. It’s amazing and definitely worth the money.
My old vstrom 650 came with the best seat I've ever used and it was stock, I don't know how manufacturers now think saving on seat foam is the right move....
So…can I come live with you guys? For just like a year? I’ll pay rent or whatever obviously. I’ll do. All the handiwork and repairs/yardwork/dishes/etc. only assistance I might need is with job applications
Thanks, my viewers seem to be global and I'm used to metric. To be honest, it started with my mom in the states always asking if it's really OK to drive 100 thinking I'm in miles 🤣🤣
@VinCode17 I'm getting a Corbin, absolutely. Gonna do the carbon fiber leather on the seat, charcoal alcantara on the sides and tail. It's a few hundred dollars more for a much nicer saddle. My friend had one of these on his CBR600 years ago and it was amazing to ride on. Right now it's in the shop, just got ceramic coating, getting new M4 exhaust mounted and ECU flash at 2 Wheel dynoworks who are local to me (they have a great UA-cam channel).
@Audfile Corbin 🔥 My neighbor had a Corbin on his bike, and he mentioned it took some time to break in, but he loved it. 2WDW 💪 I follow the channel. Love to hear what you think once you get it back with the flash.

Minor damage but it's insurance stuff and I want it back mint so I dit get it back till middle of next month. But I love this bike so much it's getting every improvement I can make. Brembo pads and rotors, Renthal bars, LED lights all around, Ohlins fork cartridges, rear shock, sick tires, all that.
Only 2 aftermarket seats are available for the 2016+ sv650 are the bagster and the corbin. That's it no others. I have the Corbin and it's good. But I'm going to order this one from Bagster
The bagster seat on my mt07 was crap, worce than stock. As the sv bagster broke it is was always better than stock. But got too soft over time. We have to many bills right now, but plan on getting the corbin some day. Other than weight, those only seem to have positive reviews

178cm (5'10). Depends how you are with knee bend. This Comfort seat gives an extra 2cm(inch) same brand will do similar on the cb650r and mt07. This bike and the cb don't feel small to me, the mt has a bit more leg room. The trident and z both felt small to me in all ways. But I'm saying this with slightly bad knees. So if you have moderate flexibility and good/normal knees, this could be fine. But sit on them all and see how you feel 😁

I have bought quite a number of bikes with seats that other owners immediately replace, for example KTM Adventure 950. That particular one took London to Portugal to break it in. Use them; that's the secret. I have never and will never buy an aftermarket seat.

Corbin will weigh a bit more and cost more. But I hear only good things beyond that

I thought Sargent and Seat Concepts might.
But the bagster is good, but budget. If you your corbin is good, why replace it?

We could feel the plastic through the stock seat. Not much breaking in for plastic...
I just rode the stock seat for 2000km through the Swiss alps. It really isn‘t that good 😅
