About 45 years ago I played bass in a cover band. We did a lot of Jethro Tull covers because we had a flute player. Their music was amazing, and always interesting to play.
I remember taking this cd from my dad as a kid.. this is when cd players first came out and I’d sneak it downstairs to jam out because I didn’t want to give my parents the satisfaction of knowing I was starting to dig their music … 😂
Thanks Howard! 😊 I remember playing this back in the day, but forgot most of the details and the entire ending. I think I used those same picking patterns. They feel natural to me.
Lovin the choices.. 1:50 Howard! How about You Drive Me Nervous..? (Glen Buxton, Killer album) No pressure … great album that doesn’t get enuff credit IMO…🤓😉

Keep those Tull tunes coming-cracking stuff
Really like your Jethro Tull covers HH, would like to see you take on "Jump Start" and "Farm on the Freeway" from Crest of a Knave...
You can't do enough Tull. thanks a million!
Even the chugging sounded good! Thank you again! I started too late in life ( 56) , wish I was as good as you
Nice guitar

My pleasure! Martin is the man :-)

Thanks, you too! :-)
Absolutely fabulous video! I love “Aqualung” and “Thick As A Brick”. Why is Jethro Tull not in the Rn’R Hall of Fame?
Damn good question!
Alright Howard, one of my favorite albums of the '70's.
Mine too :-)
