Thank you so much for this tutorial! I was looking for a cute pattern for a pullover and so far i really like it. I do have issues shaping the neck though. I can not for the life of me get it to work - I have frogged the neck part for the 5th time now and it is getting really frustrating... If you have any tips on how I can decrease with this particular pattern, I would very much appreciate it!

What if we don't want the row of single crochets?

    • @AmericanCrochetAssociation

Try it to see what you think! The row of single crochet assures that the shell rows will all face one direction, so removing it will make this fabric reversible.

    • @raeann.george
      @raeann.george 6 років тому +1

I figured it out and sort of modified it to make a small baby blanket, here's what I came up with.
      ch: chain
      dc: double crochet
      sk: skip
      sts: stitches
Chain multiple of 12 plus 5
      Row 1:
1 dc in 4th ch from hook
sk 1 ch, dc in next ch twice
      dc in next ch
      *5 dc in next ch
1 dc in next ch twice
sk 1 ch, 1 dc in next ch 4 times
      1 dc in next ch**
Repeat from * to ** to last 12 chs
      5 dc in next ch
1 dc in next ch twice
      1 dc in last ch
      Row 2:
      ch 1, turn, sc across
Repeat row 1 and 2, changing colors as wanted, until piece is desired length.
      Hope that helps!
