@@UnrealUniversity this ones nuts, for the final id like to see maybe a health regain system like lies of p where u get more health pots back by doing damage. also making a perfect parry system. i know theres a block in here but something again like lies of p where you can cleary tell you got a perfect parry (ie didnt take dmg) vs only half parry meaning negated abit of dmg. I just played the demo and felt it was hard to tell if i was getting a actual block or if i messed it up as theres not alot of character movement, no sound indication, and no indication on the screen really. but i know this is very early so im sure youd be changing that anyways. but ye demo felt great. I personally make environments for games and would love to be able to use this for a souls like inspired map just to play it myself (wouldnt be selling it or anything) so if by chance i could buy this system off of you when its done that would be great as I know nothing about coding and im sure i could follow a course but at the end of the day i wanna spend my time making the map mostly not as much on the programming side

I had a question, how would I make it so that my FPS character could climb on any surface. And then even transfer to a ceiling? I'm trying to make a parkour system for an FPS game and essentially I want to be able to go to any wall or ceiling and hit E and then attach my character to that surface and then move along any direction connected to the plane of the object. I hear that using line traces are good but I'm wondering if there's any other way to accomplish this. Not looking for an in-depth explanation, but if you can push me in the right direction that would be amazing. Love your videos.

No starting again fresh cause with that one I used the greystone character, this one we will use ue5 mannquinn character so should be easier to change and will be more flexible to change

keeping the old on udemy because last time i removed old content some people complained, but this will be expanded and this version will be more new and better practices

This will just be melee maybe after a while that can be added but I am making no promises this will be melee, but there will multiple different types of melee weapons you can use

Yep. Spent like 200 hours following one, and he seems like he might not go back now so it's mostly a glorified character creation tutorial
