Other way around but okay. Polygraph tests are remarkably accurate. Can't be used in court but they're used by law enforcement and all types of businesses all day everyday.

I want to know what lawyer advised them to retaliate after they have been served with a lawsuit about retaliation. It seems to be all cops know how to do. Their arrogance and their ego driven behavior is what catches them every time.
Their lawyer advised them to retaliate by filing a lawsuit against the city after they were made aware that the City was taking disciplinary action against them for having or giving the appearance of having sex while on duty and because this would ultimately culminate in their terminations. They filed their lawsuit against the city nearly a month after they were put on administrative leave and made aware they were being investigated for misconduct and would be subject to polygraphs and disciplinary hearings which could culminate in them being terminated. There's no doubt that their lawyer advised them "if we sue the city before they can finish the process of terminating you then we can claim retaliation." Yet, the timeline is very clear that they were being disciplined and were facing termination before they sued. She had even been suspended for 3 days last year, in July, for sleeping on the job. Do you think the city time traveled back to July of 2023 to suspend her for 3 days for sleeping on the job just so they can retaliate against her for suing them nearly a year later after they put her on administrative leave for other misconduct? These officers knew they were about to be terminated for their misconduct and they thought they would get ahead of the city's process which takes time. The city has to go through the full process and that process just completed even though it started long before they sued the city. In other words, they filed their lawsuit on April 5th after being put on Administrative Leave, on March 8, for the allegations that resulted in their terminations on April 30th which was also nearly a full month after they failed polygraphs on April 12th regarding the same allegations. It is clear that these officers, and their lawyer who appears to be corrupt, are retaliating against the city for initiating disciplinary action against these officers. They think that people will not pay attention to the fact that the city was already taking disciplinary action against them prior to them suing the city and their lawsuit is convenient in that they submitted it after they knew that they were about to be terminated but before they were terminated which gives them the ability to accuse the city of retaliating. Since the city were doing what they just did before they sued the city, it can't be retaliation. What can be retaliation is filing a lawsuit on April 5th after being put on administrative leave on March 8th and being informed that you would be subjected to polygraphs and further action in the month of April, which could lead to your termination. What better way then to get your lawyer to sue the city before they can finish what the city started? The city is retaliating against me by firing me on April 30th, for filing a lawsuit against the city on April 5th and you should ignore that they put us on administrative leave on March 8th. Our lawsuit has nothing to do with us being about to be fired.

I kinda feel like it's a mix of both worlds. The cops have done some missconduct, but also someone wanting retaliation has dug up whatever dirt they could find on them. I mean, an officer calling in sick and the sneaking off to make out with his colleague is not something that would normally need a public news story. Someone clearly is digging up whatever they can find as revenge.
