Yeah man, I agree. As I commented, they should definitely be pitched down - first one for the minor third, but the 2nd and 3rd for major third, so It would go like this: F, #D, #C and not like (how it sounds in original) #G, G, F.
Pitched the sample down and added some basic drums. Ocean might as well have done it 😂 Evan’s knowledge is nice to see tho, especially at such a young age.
That melody was pure fire and then what that kid did with the beat just flip it on its head he is nice he may just have the force with him watch that one peace one luv O 🎶 🎵

Great video!!! But in my opinion the 808 is a little off beat?... Maybe it's just on my headphones that way, or I'm just wrong and my hearing is a little lost haha
I absolutely adore collaborative projects, especially ones that marry diverse, often counter-intuitive genres in an effort to kick off the restraints imposed upon us by illegitimate, often evil social hierarchies whose sole purpose is to separate us from each other by creating and maintaining artificial boundaries that drive us into a permanent state of apathetic or antagonistic opposition (Translation): "I love it when talented people find ways of fuckin' with The Man." I remember the first time I saw Blue Man Group performing with a Japanese drum troupe; I remember the first time I listened to Central European heavy-metal; I remember watching a classical violinist playing with a blue-grass band; I remember the documentary about a black jazz musician who fell in love with Mongolian throat-singing, traveled to the wilds of Mongolia and entered a competition that is held only once every eight or ten years and...won. As a prize they gave him the most gorgeous little Mongolian pony you've ever seen. In each of the above examples the whole was so much more than the sum of its parts. To me, the wonder of true diversity, as a necessary social goal or condition isn't realized by acknowledging the many, many ways it resolves itself into different, discrete entities but, instead, the way it draws diverse elements together and allows beauty to almost magically erupt, in the midst of it all, out of the ecstatic stew of mutually beneficial, completely human shared experiences and love (Translation): "I am inspired by people who, on the surface, appear to have little if anything in common with each other and yet, somehow, transcend the differences, as if under the direction of some invisible hand and ultimately create something redemptive and unquestionably DIVINE..." As woo-woo as that all sounded, anyone with a heart beneath their shirt knows precisely what I'm trying to say in my own limited way and relying upon the barely adequate medium of language (Translation) "I'm done babbling."
While this fellow is building his career, at his age I screamed into the turned on fan to hear the autotune in real life
