@@davidthompson62 Do I care about every last card they flip? No, but that’s not the point I was trying to make. These guys turned me onto how easy it was to buy and reprice cards on COMC a while back. I used thats strategy to fund a bunch of PC cards I picked up on the site with the profits. I think things like that and what they are doing flipping cards on Goldin without even taking possession are a great option for people who want to try to make the hobby fund itself in terms of their collection. Yes, I don’t cash out often from COMC, but you do pay the 10% if you do. Our hope is be at full scale by the end of the year, which won’t be easy but it’s possible.
Appreciate what you said about making a sale to help someone else's PC or to that effect. I just started reselling on ebay again and I list cards that I may not be personally interested in but am willing to let go instead of haggling for a few extra bucks to make someone else's day. I think that's the right attitude to have as a seller. I really enjoy selling and can tell you do as well.
You are buying cards on Goldin auctions site then re-selling them on the same Goldin auction site? Is that what you are doing? Why didnt the other person make the profit that you are?
How do you account for the fees/shipping? For example you buy a card for $15 and sell for $20 but when you bought it you paid shipping and when you sold there were fees right? Sorry if yo explained this and I missed it.

Hey man. Can I ask why don't you guys sell on Ebay, is it because of fees? Also there was a card you bought for $6 and sold for $8, on Ebay, if I bought it for $6, i would have to pay sales tax which is $6.60 (and that's not including shipping costs), and then if I sold it for $8, after fees I would be at $6.80. So are the fees not the same, because that would only be a .20 profit which is not great margins on Ebay. What is Goldin's site for fees? Do you have to pay to open an account with Goldin? Can you personally list items on Goldin or does it have to go through Goldin listing it?

Yes on the personal income taxes, this just tacks onto my existing Amazon business. Inventory businesses are slightly different in that you can't expense the inventory until it's sold - that's why, in some ways, Black Friday exists and you try to blowout most of your inventory by Dec 31st. The COMC cards stay on COMC, the Goldin cards go to the Collectors vault - anything I buy on other sites goes to Goldin if its graded and raw goes to COMC. A few times a year I'll pull some inventory and bring it to a show - but this is the same business we've done with Amazon and Ticket reselling - you almost never touch the inventory.
