Alright, all your family members will be bringing up the #Bitcoin FUD during the holidays. Dan Held and I go through the most popular FUD takes and provide a response to each one of them. Be sure to share this episode with Uncle Fred after the prime rib. - Preston
This is the first time in 7 years that I see one of the Podcasts on UA-cam. Best podcast in the world! I remember you discussed Bitcoin for the first time, I remember exactly where I was commuting in a train between Portugal and Spain. You fed me with interest and motivated me to start my own business. Thank you guys for making investing so simple, especially Preston!
great and timely topic that doesnt get enough air time. i d like to go deeper on this from a psychological POV, iM STARTING TO DISCOVER A RESISTANCE TO bITCOIN AND AN OVERALL COLLECTIVE DENIAL ABOUT THE STATE OF THE ECONOMY.I THINK WE NEED A PANEL OF PSYCHIATRISTS TO DISCUSS THIS PHENOMENON BC ITS REAL AND ITS PRESENT IN THE FULL SPECTRUM OF ECONOMIC AND IQ LEVELS
People that don’t understand the value of bitcoin simply don’t understand what it is. Not only is it valuable, it has the potential to be the most important invention in human history.
I think the question will ultimately come down do all forms of energy use create commercial value. Comparing BTC energy unit vs. USD energy unit is an interesting philosophical comparison with no clear single answer. I tend to favor what unit of work generates greater human utility wherein the energy backing USD is our GDP (aggregate work) seems to provide more social utility in terms of energy use wherein BTC doesn't have GDP backing it "yet" so it needs an artificial source of work to mimic human utility.
China is seen as an economic super power and it’s still baffles me how the got rid of such an economic advantage with BTC it makes you wonder do they know something the rest of the world doesn’t, China don’t generally make such blunders.
