personally I like the look of GoPros images better. other cameras might be technically "better", but I feel like the look of GoPros have that "action camera look" to them and I really enjoy that.
Damn it Werner, stop making complete sense! Don't you know that everyone wants the function of a $12,000 Full Frame camera with a high-end large lens in a tiny, completely waterproof body, that can do close-ups, perfect bokeh, AND 8K to infinity, in a body that is also 100% BOMBPROOF, plus can run over an hour in an oven set at 300°F, all for less than $500! Sounds simple to me, despite the physics and laws of nature involved! C'mon DJI and GoPro, just make it. We're waiting impatiently! (Great vid, as always, sir!)

And I'm not trusting a little magnet mount if I decide to hook an action cam outside of an airplane or a car so while the magnetic mounts might be convenient for soft use I'm giving that one to GoPro too because I'm locking my mounts in!
I've nearly lost my GoPro when I was using SNAP mount before while hiking. Magnetic attachment fell off from the mount just by small collision with people. I wouldn't trust magnetic mount ever again.
Just got my first gopro and it happened to be on a rainy day. I took a short video and was quickly disappointed by the image quality. But then I realized it didn't make any sense because after decades of development it should be a mature product. So thanks for your explanation and tutorials on gopro. They have been very helpful.
So couple points I have to make. Gopros are designed to be crashed with or dropped. Also, the magnet mounts also have clips. A heavy crash MIGHT make it unclip. If the crash scratches up the camera, I don't think it disconnecting from the mount is going to matter even if it's a few more scratches 😂
@@downhillgroovy5859 does it take much force to pull the camera off the magnetic mount? Do you have to pull like crazy, as if you're trying to pick up Thor's hammer? Or does it come off with a simple pull? Would a screw ever come loose? Sorry man, £440 camera gets screwed down, not plonked on magnets!
Hey Mount Media, I’m trying to film some guitars in a museum, I have a hero 7, and 9 black, should I stay on auto or adjust to dark type settings? They’re in a glass case with just a few lights around them, I always drop a like when you post 👍🏻
Great vide! I'm going to share it with people considering the purchase of an action cam. BTW, I used the Osmo Action 3 magnetic mount in my race car and it was terrible. There was enough play in the magnetic mount that it amplified the vibrations. Switching to a GoPro style mount greatly improved the stability of the video. Cheers! 🙂
Let's say that action cameras were mostly designed to record in excellent light conditions. At best you use your smartphone or other accessory to record videos.

I bought a DJI Action 4 and no regrets, works flawlessly, and seeing the specs of this new GoPro even happier that I was not waiting for it.
Can’t go wrong with both. What do you mostly used your Action 4?

A summary that I have told many people - Buy the camera you need. GoPro cameras are not camcorders or DSLR / Mirrorless camera.
Call me crazy but I trust a £400 camera more on a screwed mount than a magnet mount...

I use on my moto vlogs and never had an issue, there are locking tabs too it’s rock solid and far more convenient than a screw mount.

3rd manufacture made the magnet mount for gopro. Also I have drop my my gopro on the road from the roof of my suv and no problem

For me low light is important, you dont only do action or activities on a bright sunny day. I understand that there are limitations.
