This is your best video yet. You just influenced a whole class of children not by doing UA-cam videos but chasing your dreams. Bro you should feel proud of what you just did. What a positive impact you made on those kids.
Never given money on UA-cam before your channel and twice in one day! I’m so touched by your sincerity and passion. Please take care of yourself and thank you for sharing your passion for life with the next generation! Thank you!
Mori G Sensei is a very unique Japanese teacher. His more modern methods and keen understanding of kids is truly remarkable! And you, Robin! You did an outstanding presentation for that age group. As a former teacher of the same grade level, I can attest that you would make a wonderful teacher and mentor to kids of ANY age. You explained the pros and cons of pursuing a You Tube career by giving them concrete anecdotes of your own life. I could tell they were very engaged and took something valuable from the lesson. Yoku dekimashita, Robin Sensei! 😃 A+❤
I think it okay. I think kids need to understand about all types of jobs. I think this type of job has been popularized by many famous youtubers. It is good of you to explain it to them. Keep up the good work! 😊
Amazing video! I loved how you also talked about the bad parts of being a youtuber. I feel like you doing this will help the kids undesrtand more about what it's like actually being a youtuber
100%.The fact that they're open to exposing the students to this example of following your dreams & the pros & cons about being a UA-camr is to be commended. I'm guessing not all schools would allow this only going by the cultural preferences that Robin has discussed
You are rich in friends, Robin-san. I would say most people can’t compare to how many people you know and how many people care about you, wanting to hang out with you, and help you along your journey. There are many people out there with full bank accounts and an empty heart. ❤ Loved this episode!
Few have the courage to pursue what they love, because it might mean they fall behind on certain standards -- standards set by society. I love what you are doing. You often thank us, your viewers and supporters, but I am thanking you -- for being who you are, and sharing. It IS hard work. I have so enjoyed your chronicles (that's what it is) and having this window upon Japan. The bonus is your own personal uniqueness and style! Rock on !
Robin: this video is in the TOP 3 of all the videos I have watched, not only in your channel but every channel. You have a natural flair for teaching, that is, for sharing your experiences. Congrats also to Mr. Mori-G….he is one of the most forward-looking early-childhood teachers I know (from news and social media). The Scandinavian countries, especially Finland, have proven that proven that play time is the most important part of childhood education. Added to that, living harmoniously with your neighbours. I hope Mr. Mori-G will receive wider recognition of his contribution to his community! Bravo, Robin Guru-san, Māori-sinsei-san.
In my eyes all types of folks have their story to tell and experience to share and Kids can benefit from learning from someone who has gone through life in a different way.
Hey! Robin-sensei in the house teaching us the ups and downs as well as certain realities of being a content creator online! I absolutely love how well you communicated your lecture with the students and teachers so they both have a clearer picture of your very unique circumstances. Keep pushing, Robin-san!
I could never imagine that a homeless person can be happy, i've never had this experience, but i can't imagine how difficult this life could be. Be safe and keep doing this amazing work that you do. Cheers from Brazil, being homeless in my country is very complicated.
turn homelessness into an adventure, and don't just sink into depression. One of my best adventures was my bicycle tour across the USA. I was homeless, but the energy and confidence I got pedaling across this country got me a job and a place pretty quick when I stopped my tour.
@@Adventures4vida Good for you, i have some mental health issues, and if i was in this life, i probably could kill myself, i hope that everything is ok for you now.
😊Awesome ! Robin your presentation to the students was great. They haven't been influenced by cultural "norms"yet. You are a natural speaker & the students obviously enjoyed listening to you.
Your friend had a wonderful idea to invite you to speak to the children. Now they have an insight about what it really means to be youtuber, with good and bad, and some of them can rethink their options for the future, in case they thought that everything was just fun. Japanese school is great, it really prepares children for life.
Robin, you made a good point to the kids that you can still do UA-cam WHILE working at the same time (starting as a hobby as you said). I think that’s the key.
Robin, this was so much fun to watch! I understand Japanese and was just as captivated as the students. You have a natural talent in presentation (perhaps a future opportunity): clear points, relatability, and genuine delivery. Well done! Side note: no lights in the hallway after hours is コワイ🫣 just like the ghost hunting videos.
You did such a good job with those kids, very realist but still joyful. I love the part after you explain the 1st 3 and the camera is pointed on some sad looking faces and then you bring the their energy back up. I like how your teacher friend is with the kids too.
Fantastic work :D I love how respectful the kids were despite Mori-G's unusual way of teaching (because a lot of people don't like the idea of teachers doing something different, and tend to suggest that it results in bad behaviour, which is obviously not the case here). It's good that you didn't shy away from addressing the disadvantages of your job.
🧑🏻🏫YESSSS! It's absolutely right for you to teach 4th graders! Maybe not ALL UA-camrs, but certainly you, yes. Your delivery was concise, relatable, realistic and encouraging. The Superheroes V. Haters illustration was brilliant. I'm with School Principal-San... excellent lessons for ALL AGES! Keep up the good work. A+ for Robin-San. 👍🏼
I thought you did such a great presentation. What a lovely video. I loved the conveyor belt shot near the end too. All the best from Ohio, happy to be a fellow Nomad-San.
I don't look at you as being homeless,Robin. I look at you as more of a free spirit following where ever the open road takes you. Love watching your videos and hope you keep traveling and bringing us along with you.
You did a great job with your presentation. I'll bet the kids (and the teachers) loved hearing about the realities and joys of a UA-camrs life. I know we did! We really appreciate all the effort you go to so that we can enjoy great content. Keep up the great work Robin-san! Looking forward to your next video.... and all the ones after that! 🥰
You make all our days more fun and interesting! You get up earlier and work harder than most people I see, you have more friendships than most people. You have a goal and vision, and a wonderful personality keep going and you will be fine. Good luck Robin!
Ohio gosai masu Nomad san! you did a good job teaching the kids, it was heartwarming it made my heart melt, the kids where too cute, 200K Ikuzo! you can do it!
Thank you for sharing. This video really brighten my day, seeing all those well behaved kids. Watching kids with such playful energy and high spirits having fun makes one remember when they were a kid. It always puts a smile on my face.
You were awesome with the kids and you are a natural in a classroom. You didn't sugar coat how hard you tube is but you also told them if you work hard you can chase your dream and succeed. You tube as a career is hard and I think they understood that. Plus you got to reconnect with your friend. Play some chess , had 2 Coke San , and a dinner with a cool teacher friend. You may be homeless but you are so rich with the friends you do have.
Really cool stuff man! Hello from New Zealand! 🙂-- Japan is #1 on my list of places to visit, I really like Japanese culture and how polite and respectful Japanese are as a majority, It's amazing. I like watching your videos because it isn't glamorised or tourist centric. It's the real down-to-earth everyday places and people and it is super authentic. The other thing that i think you may not realise is the amount of people who have thought of just quitting everything and leaving, to travel who knows where doing who knows what. This feeling i think comes from feeling 'trapped' in the rat-race of life. Same job day-in and day-out, repeat every day just slowly getting older without purpose. So happy for your successes and wishing you many more! 🎉
Robin-San, what a great job explaining how UA-cam works, it has positives and the negatives. And how important it is to you. There is no price for the experiences and adventures you have while you are living this time in your life. It is extraordinary to take homelessness and make it living life as a modern nomad. Let's go Nomad-san's! Many of us enjoy living vicariously through you as long as you are on this adventure.
dunno what's wrong with itinerant educators, or any other profession for that matter. this odd attachment that most societies have to permanent structures/houses is weird. a home is just a place where your things are/where you sleep at.
You’re working so hard and pursuing a passion and a dream. That translates to your videos so clearly, and the growth will not stop! Thanks for sharing a part of your life with us. Sending good vibes and high fives from Seattle 👊
I was touched by this video..im a quarter Japanese but have spent many summers in Japan with my family I love watching your videos because I can see Japan, the culture and people. Anyways, you really did an amazing job with the students!

I enjoy every video (but this one especially) & love watching your subscriber numbers climb. Hoping this gets you a whole new group of fans. Now we just need you to go viral!
Excellent content as always! You spoke so eloquently to those fourth graders! I loved getting to see their lunch routine as well, the food looked so good! Take care of yourself Robin-san, and please take extra measures to stay warm- it's starting to get pretty cold out. ❤
This is your best video by far so far, Robin-san. The wife and I enjoy watching your videos. We've just found out about your channel and have binge watched all of it. Stay safe, and keep the great content coming. God bless from the US!❤
I love your presentation. It is easy to tell you are passionate about what you do. Your friend seems like a great teacher. I had so many teachers throughout school, I only remember 2 of them. They were the fun ones! Those kids will remember him for the rest of their lives! Thank you for sharing!
You seem like a pretty cool dude, and smart. I feel like things will work out for you eventually because you are a good soul. You also arent shy at all are you? Man I'm terribly shy there's no way I could accurately and naturally document my day to day and my life like you do and communicate like you do, I'm a bit jealous of that. I also envy your ability to recognize how unhappy you were with your old circumstances and have the courage to throw it all aside and figure out what you really wanted to do. Its an example to a lot of us out there.
I love the food in Miyazaki! Especially charcoal grilled Jidori chicken, Miyazaki beef and various Kushiyaki! Miyazaki has definitely one of the most delicious food in all of Japan.
What a beautiful video. I can see you sparked joys and inspired those young children to chase their dreams and to be resilient to do so. Love your presentation.
Great presentation, you covered the pros & cons and at the same time made the kids feel that dreams can come true, if you put in the hard work. Well done!
Ur story is important don’t think it’s not- in a world at this moment where people are trying extra hard to box people in- “ *You’re a nail that sticks out* “ but u ain’t hurting no body , your putting smiles on people faces with ur videos , your being unapologetically ur self but in a respectful humble way!!!!! Sensei Robin! The kids were really interested in all you had to say, the way their adorable little faces just dropped when you said you didn't have a home was just precious, they really felt for you. I'm sure you were nervous but you were a natural and it didn't show. Not only are you opening the minds of your fans but now you've opened the minds of that group of kids too. 😊 Sensei Mori-G is awesome 🤘
