I love the tack analogy. I am going to steal it when I talk with my peers.

DOES KETO DIET HELP WITH VERTIGO? I'VE BEEN SUFFERING FOR YEARS AND IT SEEMS TO BE PERMANENT.

It helped with mine but be very mindful of getting more sodium through regular old table salt, or sea salt and potassium-rich foods. Magnesium critical too. All the best to you. Google your local teaching hospital, they may have a ketogenic dietician available to you for assistance.

This feels like an infomercial. I kept waiting for her to bring out a Juicero or something. Mentioning the Cleveland Clinic didn't help that. When are they launching her product?

Functional medicine is a way to simplify medicine as science and give hope to people who have complex and hard to understand problems.
Problem with functional approach is biology, genetics, epigenetics, evolution, metabolism and other related fields are too much complex for one brain, one approach and one simplified way. Some part of keto community is following the same way as high carbs, causing damage to better understand processes under low carb high fat metabolism.
