17th May 2018 - There a battery level indicator for IOS 11 but no percentage of the battery, and speaking of battery, as predicted, the battery life has increased if the volume is not turned up to maximum, still a great headphones that i recommend.

Awesome review! awesome editting and video producing! Was in the process of deciding what to buy based on my RM300 and below budget for wireless headphones. I saw many options like the ones from bluedio, avantree and other brands. I was more inclined towards bluedio because I bought their TE bluetooth in-ear earphones because of the super cheap-yet super worth it price. I viewed other video reviews of this product but yours really brought it home! What more, a fellow Malaysian! Bought the headset right after watching this video when the video just came out! My friend, I loved my F2 when I had it, it was very comfortable and isolated sound really well. The W830BT is awesome in terms of comfort, and I really like the sound quality as well. I can say that there isn't as much isolation, and it feels a bit bulkier and heavier, but it's more comfortable than the F2. In terms of sound quality, I might give an edge to Bluedio, but that's not to say anything bad about the Edifier's. I really like listening to these headphones! In terms of battery, there really isn't a question. I still haven't charged the W830BT, and they're going strong! With the F2, I could go about a week to a week and a half without charging. The F2 charges pretty quickly, so it's not really a hassle. It uses USB-C for charging as well as for listening to music with cables, which might be bad because 3.5mm jack to USB-C cables might not be that easy to find, so if you lose the one that comes with it, there might be a hassle. Overall, both are pretty good headphones, I'm sad that my F2s didn't last long, but I really enjoyed using it when I had it, and I used it pretty often, too! That said, I also love the W830BT. They are super comfortable and feel more premium than the F2.
Thanks man for such a detailed answer! One last question though.. Some reviewers say the W830BT are a bit "bassy" headphones and their bass kind of overpowers the mids and highs - Do you agree with that? If that's true I might skip the W830BT and just go with the F2s
As you may already know, a lot of pixel 2 users has lag issues with their phone. How is yours holding up?
Great review Adam, I bought the W855's and they're great for metal, drums bass and guitar all as they should sound. Super great low price phones for metal at night. Gonna get the 830's after watching your review, and a couple other's, for a gift for my mother for their comfortableness, quality and sound. The 855's I can wear for extended periods and not notice the pressure because they are literally as soft as you say. I would bet the W830's are even a little lighter. My only complaint is when I am drinking a beverage they tend to tilt back as I get closer to the end of the contents lol. Could just be me, but I wear a size 32 cap so I don't know.

@@ronch550 i used them for about a year than they wouldn't hold a charge, they were great while they lasted. I've been using their cheap w800bt i think they were $50 on sale, sound not as nice but they'll hold a charge for a week and I use them hours a night. i've used the 800's steady for a year and half.

If you want incredible sound quality then I highly recommend the Skullcandy Crushers over the Edifiers. However, the Edifiers are considerably more comfortable and last twice the Skullcandy's 40 hours. I tell you this because I compared both headphones personally, the Edifiers will go back to Amazon.

Excellent review. How good is the microphone on these for calls ? I want to use it for office work related zoom, skype meetings. Any idea on how will be the voice clarity and level ?
I've had these headphones for nearly two years, as far as mic quality it's absolutely not worth it unfortunately. Listening to music is such a treat, but any calls come in and I have to switch out from Bluetooth due to my callers having a hard time hearing me even in a quiet room.
Can it be used for gaming? Dota 2.
How about the mic? Is it good for calling? Is it loud enough?

The price for this specification is absolutely solid and best budget Bluetooth headset I have ever seen before. But there is a over-boosted bass for some user, doesn't affect me anyway I like extreme bass boosting haha.

I recently bought the Skullcandy Crushers which sounds incredible, best bluetooth headphone I've heard so far. Then I came across the Edifier with its incredible 95 hour battery, rave youtube reviews and APTX support. The Edifiers gnawed at me, so I decided to buy it and compare it to my Skullcandy. In terms of comfort, no doubt the Edifiers wins hands down. As for sound quality goes, the Skullcandy blows it away on all levels, the Edifiers lack everything, bass, mids and treble. If only the SC's were as comfortable.....oh! well, I guess you can't have everything.

Has anyone tryed bass boosted music on those headphones? Is it good?
Have you listened to them using 3.5mm jack? Does audio quality change that way?
Yes it does, in a bad way, the mids turn muddy and the bass turns more artificial, when wireless however, everything is balanced and clear, and in this case steals the show, its not really a big thing to be bummed about, ive been using it wireless for 3 days and it has reached to 75/100%,so total speculation of how long these last is up to 12 days, which is outstanding, since they only state 95 hours of playback time, which really depends on how long you use them, say 12-18 hours a day with low to mid volume levels should be over a week before you charge them again. Overall they sound like "40mm driver headphones with a bass kick, wirelessly," and, "bass drowning out mids, wired."

Some review they sound just the same.. w860nb is a bit better on vocals, much clearer than w830bt

FatBoyChannel101 Hey bro, there is no active noise cancellation feature in this headphones but it does block out the outside sound since it's an over the ear headphones, but definitely not completely blocking out the sound

Soundwise, almost anything of note beats the Beats. Edifier speakers and headphones are not the best sounding pieces of equipment one can buy at this price point.

As soon as these headphones get popular enough they'll become way more expensive . in saying that tho the current price for quality headphones proves that all popular brands are over priced and we're just helping make those other companies richer . $300 and over is simply retarded for headphones , especially considering they don't even include the ability to have mp3 music within...just saying . like 4K TV's lacking the ability to connect any Bluetooth headphone , for the price the option should be there. once again...just saying .

The reason why I want the edifier w830bt
Is firstly because of the aptx audio which gives bluetooth streaming a lot better.Besides that the ergonomic design and mass helps with extreme comfort.Furthermore it's NFC enabled and I have a phone which supports that.Moreover it has the premium design similar to skullcandy hesh 3 which is the pinnacle of premium.Then I have been wanting a new pair of headphones for the past 2 years as I've been using the Sony MDR100AAP or Hear.on (wired)
This is totally an upgrade to the Sony's
