Thanks for all your videos, Mac guy here and longtime LV1 user but have to say I may take the Axis One plunge with the rig at my venue. Just need to figure out a good screen sharing solution between Axis One and my MacBook Pro and/or iPad for wandering and mixing/troubleshooting. Anyways keep it up and thank you for taking the time to share!
hi, great video… i’m looking into getting the LV1 setup for a two piece live vocal setup, although i’d be using backing tracts so i’d be also using the axis to play the tracks…. Just a question: Rather than starting from scratch, is it possible to obtain some vocal presets (not the ones that come slandered) but from someone who has peaked the EQ for that vocal presence? i have the xr18 using it for three years which took me that long to tweak and getting good vocals, unfortunately a friend wiped all the settings and as i’m now starting from scratch i may as well get waves setup fir that extra vocal ability
Thanks for this video. I am considering replacing my digital mixer in my studio with the LV1 (together with the Extreme server). What’s your experience so far with the Axis One? Do you consider it quiet enough for studio use?
If you tracking in the control room, any fan is going to be picked up. However, it's quiet enough for general mixing and editing. That said, the Extreme Server is a bit more noisy. Keep in mind, LV1 is a live sound mixer. While you can use LV1 in the studio, it's an expensive tool that's not optimized for that workflow.
I haven't used the Hades, but it's a little larger in size and so is the PSU. So I would still go with the smaller NUC. However, I would personally wait and see if Waves is coming out with anything new at AES before buying anything. Only less than a month.

Great idea!

Where can i have an Iso to make a clone?
It’s nothing special. Just a stripped down version of Windows.
@@JoshVoyles Thanks, did you got one?
Keep going josh ^_^
What are your views between this, intel nuc and hades?
looking for something to add to my SQ waves setup.

@@JoshVoyles Right understand what you mean. yeah was looking for a powerhouse. How about the differences between the Axis and your skull canyon?
But I want the Hades due to the amount of connection ports it has
got a link for this computer?
