You described 95% of my matches on mirage T side. You forgot my favorite strat, though: stack up 4-5 people in B apps and just stand there until there's 30 seconds left and everyone panics.
I swear to god I've tried doing every thing in that situation from rushing first and dying without trade, to holding underpass or throwing smokes and flashes for the entry, and almost never has anybody cooperated with me, they just stand there too afraid to move a muscle, Its so infuriating.
It's hilarious how in lower levels, when you push mid with 2 or 3 players, the a players just start staring at conn and stand in the middle of site. Me and my mate used to just throw a window and a short smoke from t-spawn and rush into conn with flashes, and told the team to go ramp. When we pushed conn there was always 2 guys on site but they had completely forgotten that ramp and palace exists and it was a free kill for the ramp guys :D
Something that REALLY annoys me on T side is when we do an A hit with smokes and stuff and we have a guy palace who absolutely doesnt do his job. Someone from stairs or bench peeks and kills a guy ramp and the palace guy is just HIDING. Or he doesnt swing on someone who shoots from site to trade him. It gets on my nerves always.
On higher levels of official games the palace player is the most simple role to play, all you have to do is molotov shadow with good timing so that you force out the ct in the open, then you just hold sandwich and resmoke jungle/stairs. usually the third or the second player in ramp should molotov bench right next to the smoke jungle so it would be no point in holding bench while the molotov is there. But while we're talking about annoying things in pugs, it is when you do A smoke round and the 2 entrys jumps up tetris instead of pushing default and then they just wait there til smokes fade and then you all die. first 2 players out from ramp should always rely on team flashes and should never look towards stairs/sandwich/bench since palace player should be holding sandwich/stairs, 2 first entrys should always have in mind to clear default as fast as possible while the third player (who molotovs bench) wraps the site following the edge of the jungle smoke to clear tripple or if he wants to make a play through stair smoke he should call to palace player to flash for him while he dives through it.
Voo I know I'm just some random internet stranger, but I want you to know I think you and your videos are highly underappreciated. I never actually knew (I still don't know) how to smoke window. I just kinda stand a little behind the boxes, aim at the end of the antenna, run throw. Works once, I just kept doing it. And it works every time.
@@razmuzen1090 they have terrible latency. The elo system is very terrible for free to play where you end up having to do a comical amount of grinding to barely get it up. Not to mention their support system sucks. From what I've heard, premium isnt too much different so yeah
faceit is fine. get better internet or a better pc. and if u actually want to get elo, of course you’re gonna have to grind. it isn’t supposed to be easy
Benchix yeah if you have teammates the issue with mirage is that it’s very hard to be unpredictable by yourself cause only A is appealing if you’re in a team of bad players you can’t really go B alone and be successful
@@benchix2447 CT side is super easy. I'm Silver Elite, and in a Premium match I played today, as CT side we won 12-3 and as T side we barely won 4-9 I believe. So atleast in lower ranks, playing CT is easier
@@niismo. yoo. since then ive reached 3k elo, and my thoughts have changed, CT side is very easy if the enemies dont know basic flashes/executes, which in lower ranks, most don't.
My tactic is: To mid, and 3 B. We smoke connecter and Window, after that one of us go Ladder room so we can get them there are going jungle and the other one is helping the 3 other people to get the bombplant.
alternative mid take , have a lurker or (attention player) as I'd like to call it towards ramp/palace and 2 top mid (throw top mid smoke) and 2 running underground for potential trade frag, leave 1 player to push underground and move up and hold b apps. Player on ramp can smoke top conn (if you know it you know it) since he's lurking and doesn't need his smoke for mid-late round. smoke window from top mid, underpass player should molotov short to push ct's back. Flash connector for the guy underpass, get connector control then the 2 players top mid should together take ladder room. Utility used: 3 smokes 1 molotov 2-3 flashes depending on how much pressure ct's focus on mid. Utility left: 2 smokes 3-4 molotovs and lots of flashes. Since mirage is a very basic utility map more than 2 smokes shouldn't be necessary for an execute towards a/b site. Use molotovs for afterplant since more than 2 molotovs should aswell not be necessary to claim a site Aswell with the lurker ramp you can make great plays towards jungle from connector, just flash deep jungle and your teammates can push through the smokes and get eventual opening kills. From my experience the ct conn player always backs out from connector due to 0 trade potential.
What I usually do on T side in Mirage is to go under and throw a Molly to the sniper's nest on heaven. That always caught them off guard and you get the momentum needed to plant A.
i played yesterday with 2 of my mates and 2 randoms. luckily one of the randoms was quite good. the other one however, went to plant bomb on A about 10 times before stopping to run out and shoot enemies. by the time he went to actually plant the bomb the CT smoke had dissipated, and he got awped, then blamed it on everyone else for not covering him. i had also actually called CT having seen him about 5 seconds prior.
Do what I do. You flash your teammates from palace entrance over slope and let 4 players rush out and take site control. Rule nr 1 is NEVER STAY ON TETRIS. Tetris is a deathtrap for nades, molos etc. Important to get out on site. Player who flashes ONCE over slope (usually me) goes palace and gets info from connector/stair and jungle. Works 90% of the time unless they stack. Even if they don't stack. I don't recommend doing this more than 5 times in a row, then switch it up for a fast B rush. Then back to A again. I do this almost every game and I'm very successful on A Mirage.
top mid, hug the blue wall as you approach and molly under the red walls window... get it right it lights up sniper window and you dont get picked off..then right away take out smoke and throw it at the blue wall next to the red wall...itll bounce the smoke onto cat to cut off that guy from picking off the rush up connector. Its a nade combo i do every time im on t side. It works just as long as no one smokes connector too. Good vid man.
I would love to see some guides for wingman mode I used to be Gold 4 in wingman after a bunch of good games with my friends, then I solo queued and deranked to Silver 1, and I've really been wondering how to get back up, as it feels like I have to win 20 games to rank up and lose one to be trapped further in Silver 1.
I really have only one good tip: Stop playing this shit seriously. Mg1s are mm globals and people just play Like pussys cause they mostly just have to hold one angle. Just an annoying gamemode

1,5k hrs, mostly soloq mm, had a team that actually cooperates only like 3 times. Forever nova. Starting to like it here, because you get to deal with all sorts of players. You have noobs that you can easily kill and you have decent players that you can get rekt by :) ofcorse, loosing because of a stupid play from your teammate is frustrating, but it makes you better in clutch situations, cause you are used to not to relay on teammates
