Love it how the video literally cuts short but theres no dislikes cos its such damn good content
aaaand u jinxed it
Now there are 23 dislikes. But his L/D ratio on videos are awesome so its all good
what i think the ending would have been:
...and force good engagenments.
anyway, thanks for watching, and i hope this helps.
Keep doing videos dude, ive learned a lot with you. Thank you
My only complaint about your content is that there isn't enough :(
Would love to see a video on how to deal with a good defensive CT awper or perhaps some more general tips and tricks
using utility is best option against a good awper
Absolutely agreed, as a main awper i can tell you that flashbangs followed by a good molly will force guy to rotate (on some ocassions i stay on molly if we have advantage for 1 shot). Other option on close angles is to bait a shot (shoulder peek) a good awper should never repeek and change his position.
Use grenades and an any bec u are very mobile and that can sometimes get an asked but it off depends on the map
Thank you for uploading and helping players, I watch like all your videos and I learn stuff everytime I watch them. :)
I'm so glad you're back to making videos :) you're vids help me out so much
Video ends early?
weird, it does. Hadn't noticed until just now. I think I was going to end shortly after that though.
@@vooCSGO lol it's a good video nonetheless. I was wondering if you do demo reviews? I have been having matches where a frag 30-48k, get over 7-10 mvps but start to choke on the last 5 rnds or so. To be honest I restarted csgo in 2019 after not playing it since 2013 or so. I am back in silver now. I see myself taking a lot of bad decisions and have started to go into a slump lately.
Another issue is teammates, they literally stand in bottom banana like bots or catwalk on dd2 trying to fight awps with smgs or rush mid or suicide alone without any nades or flashes or more importantly informing the team. It just feels like we are not on the same page :(. I always end up being a lurk or one who has to watch the flank. If my team isn't mechanically skilled enough, I end up in 1v4s and 1v5s. If I try to be the entry, these guys don't watch the flank, esp of inferno, getting flanked from mid!. It's really getting into my head and I am on a lose streak.
I just watched your video on carrying in solo queue, I do confess I am a lurker, but I am not a baiter because I also flank my enemies rather than just watch for the flank. For example on DD2 I have stopped rotates from long a to t spawn, I have backstabbed the CTs from mid when they were busy fighting my team in long, I backstabbed on inferno banana as a CT. Also backstabbed B rushes on DD2, through LT stopped CT rotations from highway on cache, mirage, etc But when my team can't hold their own I suck at entry fragging :(.
@@therealb888 note that entry fragging isn't as glorious as it sounds. as an entry fragger, you should expect to die. their purpose is to be a sponge, gather info, and get a trade kill before he goes down, while the second person entering is the one to capitalize on the distraction. as the entry fragger enters site, he clears all corners (like under palace on mirage or behind E-box on train) so the people behind him can enter safely, with confidence, and take out the enemies who are already peeking to kill the entry fragger. sometimes the entry fragger lives, but more often than not, he goes down. he's a martyr for his team. i literally just saw a video about it (i can't find it right now for some reason), where they were analyzing a pro match on train.
@@therealb888 join my discord discordapp.com/invite/Dw6KbFy and drop a link to a demo in the chat
@@xMaverickFPS My theory on the team strat behind what might work better, although I agree completely with the general concept you laid out for example Long A dust 2 the entry fragger goes straight in, get's the kill/s close long A, and *does not stop* pushing to clear long, 2nd guy follows suit and trades, while the 3 helps clear close immediate ingagements onto the pair, and the fourth clears out the unchecked areas such as pit, while the 5th might be mid for info or elsewhere.
Splitting the jobs effectively I don't think teams think about enough, or they waste a lot of time with the entry fragger clearing angles while the team bunches up around him checking the same few corners, when he could be gaining map control and crossing ct early to help lock down site control.
Weapon choice I think is also a big thing, an example would be rushing B with 5 ak's, something like that doesn't make sense to me as an AK even in this game while it can be good in a pinch, it is not a CQC weapon like a mac 10 or p90, but then again I'm no global so yeah.
Good to see you posting regurarly again. Great video as always.
VOO you are the best man. i missed your vids. Thx for the upload
After 2000 hours of playing only now I recognized the importance of checking for patterns where a ct likes to play on a particular site, smh
Perhaps this is the reason I'm stuck in dmg
are you going to do a vid for ct site?
it's a bit more complicated but I could do that if there's interest.
voo CSGO that would be good
@@vooCSGO would be great. Because getting frags on ct side seems to be harder. And I think I'm not the only one who has more problems as a ct.
and even after 1.9k h I appreciate it, if someone gives tips.
Bartzabel yeah it’s hard when you have idiot teammates who can’t even get one frag when Ts attack a site so it’s always a 5vx retake
This is so good and informative
Speaking of skillsets:
- Ts are more skill and aim based
- CTs are more map sense and strategic manoeuvres.
This does not immediately mean that Terrorist needs no strategy, just saying which side needs more on, according to my experience.
i think at higher levels its the opposite, Ts kinda need to play the chess game against the "expected ct rotations" train t side at pro level seems brutal to play, just a noob here though xD
I would like to see a video about playing aggressive on ct side.
Voo, are you considering doing more of the map overviews? The inferno was very helpful and it would be great if you did some more
100%
What a smooth end
So i am guessing you are going to make a video for ct. side?
So im guessing im ur first subscriber :/ :) :D
I carried voo but I still watch his videos to further expand my knowledge
You’re my WarOwl voo
Astralis is another good example to learn from.
Nice video man. Any tips for when you solo queued and your teammates are scared to commit and scared of dying and your just there dying for no reason?
gotta be a motivational speaker sometimes man
i guess you can try to play a bit slower but you get guys like that at every rank and either you can convince them to play well or life is rough for a little bit
@@vooCSGO yeah true although it's not always easy to motivate angry Russians 😂. I suppose that's just the nature of solo queue though.
As an entry fragger I find this really frustrating. When teammates don't push with me and I'm left dying on my own.
Edit: teammates not enemies
@@meme.wazowskii9834 yeah it sucks. I really don't mind if I'm first in the bombsite and I die straight away. Just as long as my teammates are right behind me to get the trade
Bryn Walker if you struggle to develop confidence and morale with randoms I’d suggest making an impact in other ways, i.e give necessary call outs and info, supporting your team mates with nades and filling the gaps in terms of positioning. Sometimes you just gotta go and unfortunately it may just not work out and it’s not your fault. When I have those sort of rounds I’ll rewatch it to see what I could have done differently.
Earned a sub
That outro 😂
my team struggles with this a lot in scrims and games in general so im gonna forward this to them
Lv 10 faceit players?
Xd
I think going aps on inferno alone is actually super useful if your team is working on b or actually do anything because its super easy to get good timings on the short kr long players from boiler and if anyone plays in aps its basically a free kill (faceit 2900 elo)
Epic.
Hi Voo, My T-side is pretty good, usually 1-2 frags per round. But my ct side is just junk.I simply cant do much for the team, May i know how do i improve on that?
if you want to have my 2 cents: I think one important thing is to not die early, because it gives an instant advantage to the T's. As a CT you have to find the Balance between agression for information (f.e. clearing certain areas of the map to make rotationcalls more safe) and wasting time for the T's by staying alive. Always remind yourself that they need at least 10-15 seconds for a proper execute and 3 seconds to plant the bomb.
Sure its great if you can kill all the T's, but that wont happen everytime. Instead, if you f.e. hold an ankerposition like Pit on Inferno because both your teammates rotated off to B. Its important to hold an angle where the apps player wont prefire you/has to check a different angle, and the short players have to take a wide swing, eventually dying to your teammate in library. CT Side is all about Gamesense imo. WHEN to play aggressive based off of previous rounds or just overall knowledge, and WHEN to play passive or eventually back off to play retake. 5 CT's are more likely to win the round than 4.
Off course there are people who disagree with that concept, and i understand and say again: if you can just kill all 5, cool. But usually and for the usual player its much more safe in terms of round winning to not rely on aim and movement, but instead on timing and teamplay. And of course it doesnt mean you shouldnt take aim duels on CT side, its just very situational.
Hope that helps!
@@threalharrydubois Thanks for the tips ! I didn't see it from that point of view
WOW! Nice vid
hey man love your videos but i was wondering could you make a video on improving ( aim and shit )in 128 tick or pugs in general
Honestly, you and elmapuddy are two of my favorite CS GO you tubers. You guys both really dissect more upper level concepts down into digestible content.
Agree. I found voo a bit later, but the sheer simplicity and depth in his explanations for advanced gameplay helps a tonne in practice
Nice video
i literaly thought i needed to work on this so got off csgo and went on yt and saw this lol
👍
I feel like CT side is easier as you can hold head shot angles and still see all of their bodies, but they can only see your head, so it's a harder shot. Also you can hide in any unpredictable spot.
Salim Zaidi CT side is harder to carry because you cant be everywhere, maybe youre holding B but they go A and till you arrive on A your teammates are dead, youre holding a site and the hit comes they outnumber you while on T side u can basically open a site alone by killing 1-2 people and you create a great advantage for your teammates to plant get afterplant positions etc. Hope you understood me.
@@madnoxcsgo5221
Yeh I know what you mean. It works both ways as If you get a man advantage defending, then the CTs can set up crossfires and go for trades.
think that is an error, the video dont seems to end in that moment, @vooCSGO
Hey can you make a video on a a site take on dust2 with cat smokes / nades like navi/other teams used to do
Video ended like me peeking mid on Inferno T side.
Show us some nades to take map control on Train because its different from Inferno, because some people as a CT fight bannaa to much like it was a site and i see that is kinda bad without utility usage from teammates. On Train or Overpass its different, because for exemple fighting for ivy is not that important but for ts its important. (because lurkers can get easy infos) so taking for map control that gives you an avantage as a Lurker or just in general. :D I hope you understand what i'm trying to say.
Started watching your channel 2 weeks ago. I was MG1 and now 2 weeks later I’m DMG so thank you
I prefer t side and I frag way more on tside it feels like I can read the oponnent pretty easily on t
This is irrelevant but do u know what condition the ak empress is in?
T side fragging is so damn easy cuase how hard the AK hits per shot
Great tips and on a map I’m not very good at which is inferno
yeah what youre saying is mostly true but if its 50/50 you should only take it situationally. giving up a kill for nothing is pointless at least get traded. and carrying becomes less effective against cts who know how to use utility well
agree. i think in areas where getting control is important (ex: banana) going for those can be great especially if you have someone near you to trade, but if you're in a less important area or if you have some advantage it's something that should be thought about, especially if you lose those most of the time. I'm taking this from an angle that you win straight up gun fights more than you lose them but that's also different from person to person.
@@vooCSGO yeah there can be so many factors to consider even things like the utility you have and if youve even used it yet. No point buying awp as ct and full nades then drypeaking ramp to lose 7-8k worth of stuff. Its good advice though. Im LEM main and the amount of people who dont understamd this is beyond me
Hi, I know it is kinda to late but do you still have the crosshair? I would like to get the code for it.
it's in the /about of my yt
@@vooCSGO Oh I am grateful, thanks
My name is voo and I *still* … have no closer
These seem like decent tips in general for t side but dont really pertain to carrying imo. If you know that you are going to need to carry because your teamates are useless the truth is that the best thing to do is bait them. Ive been on many games with useless teamates and i entry and die and they dont even try to trade it and then we just lose the round because theyre scared to do anything. Ct side is the far easier side when solo queing because it doesnt require any strats everyone just needs to hold angles. Taking 1 on 1 fights is generally a good idea on t side but not when your team is useless because once you die the round is basically over.
Take a shot everytime voo, jumps up on the logs
Review some demos from gn1 and point out the mistakes. :D
It's most likely just mistakes on the fundamentals + aim that yoj need to worry about
Communication is also important. If you want to play aggressive 50's, at least inform a teammate to try to get the refrag. Otherwise play off of contact.
I'd rather a CT side version, my T side is fine but on CT i suck so an alternative on CT would be nice
terrorist side is just much more difficult for me
lol nice ending but video had good info in it...
VOO PLEASE SPEAK UP I ALWAYS HAVE TO TURN THE VOLUME UP FOR ONLY YOUR VIDEOS AND IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE
i've been upping the volume on my mic manually in sony vegas for a bit now, i'll up it a bit more (if i can remember) next time.
The volume was fine for me, that guy is probably half deaf as he writes with caps lock on anyways lol. @@vooCSGO
PS. nice to see recent activity from you, keep it up!
@@kaliyuga5757 he's right I have to put the volume all the way up to hear properly. Awesome video though
3:53, throw a nade instead of a flash to peek out with it xD
Actually works. Or throw a decoy (don't toss it away at the start of the round like 99% of idiots). OR best yet is to throw an actual flash, but peak out with it - before it pops. That way if you don't get the kill you can fall back in to safety easier
I think he usually throws HEs in these videos so he doesn't blind himself. He throws something so you get the idea but he doesn't have to worry about the white screen at all
@@rivermorgan9659 Yeah that's true as well. When I used to practice with my former team we'd use HE's in practice to prevent blind time as they have the exact same timing and trajectory as flashbangs
awesome video! less disadvantageous is a double negative. :)
Insert more coins...
After this go into mm where your team looses rounds after you get 2 entries and a 86 tag on last guy in site because they rotate over whole map into people instead of refragging.
Uh, get friends
Viewmodel?
Can you do a vid about those Terrible games in which nothing seems to work, aim is off, timing is shit and you just get destroyed and can't expect the retarded plays that the enemy does and you start getting frustrated
vid cuts short
How to play CT side in 3 easy steps:
1: buy Aug
2: win
3: spam GGEZ in chat
use m249 on inferno ez win
I just got 43 bomb on inferno t side while my other teammates had under 20kills. Not saying l am better but my two friends in the mach had over 600 hours played, and l have 250 hours. Everybody being gn2, opponent weren't eaven that bad. So I am good or my friend bad? Or just luck?
Luck
bro we did 11:4 ct side and lost 17:19 like WHAT THE HECK IS TERRO SIDE
epic like dislike ratio :)
More than a 50/50 engagement because ak one shot headshot and peakers advantage. Good vid tho.
i don't molly car. most CTs on car eventually peek, plus you can always spam the wood for a potential headshot. i always throw my molly above the B graffiti on the same wall, so that it bounces off and lands directly behind sandbags. i see many more CTs camp there than at car because in order to fully check sandbags, you have to turn your back to B site - potentially getting shot from corner or coffin... and if a CT is camping there and they have enough trigger discipline to wait for your entire team to push, they can seriously fuck your team up... with the molly, you can clear it without actually looking. i'm no pro - shit i don't even play enough to have a valid rank anymore - but Inferno has been one of my favorite maps for years. i like it more than dust2.
EDIT: yeah i know this isn't really a significant difference, but i got really focused on this tiny detail for some reason lol
u can check sbags with ought being fully exposed to ct or coffins my man also corner should be clear and even if it is not your teammates should just trade that kill anyways.
@@iheroISH if someone is tucked in there, against the wall while looking at the sandbags (to keep their gun from pointing out), you pretty much have to expose yourself to corner in order to fully clear it. i've seen plenty of people "clear" sandbags, yet as soon as we push, we get fucked from someone who was camping in that exact spot. i've even been the one to fuck over the Ts before from this very spot. it's hilarious to watch someone "clear" it without actually seeing me. the player-models are thinner than most people realize. there's no way to check that spot without exposing your player-model or making noise. the corner CT will, at the least, see a foot or shoulder swing out, or hear you jumping up and down on barrels.
@@xMaverickFPS u r not exposed to ct
@@aungpyaesone5448 in order to fully clear it, you pretty much have to. the sandbags are farther "north" (for lack of a better term) than the edge of the wall you're trying to stay behind. not to mention the CT at corner has a slight angle into that area, so even if you go flush with the edge of the wall, he'll still see you.
after 1800 hours, i've seen plenty of people "clear" it and then get fucked by it.
