1990 Soundgarden, Manchester. Small club on Back Piccadilly, opposite the crappy Sachas Hotel. 808 State DJs Darren and Andy on the decks. Two coppers came into the club , while Total Confusion was on, doing a walk through, to which the whole place responded by going even more mental to the tune, like 300 Bez’s, all dancing and pointing at the coppers, chanting the ‘whoo, whoo, woo, woo’ part. Vivid memory. Great track.
Love it when someone else has your same memories 😁 Soundgarden was such a small dark cellar; but it was epic!! Used to be a girl in there that looked just like Saffron, in all black lycra and a little black bob - she appeared to hang out with all the 'Destroy Boys' as I used to call them - I used to buzz off her, dancing away 😊 Good job I had my fake ID (16-19 bus pass) or I'd have never got in!! Think I was 15, but looked about 12!! The strobe and the smoke were incessant!! 😂

Club Havana 1990 in Middlesbrough, packed to the rafters with us ravers. When this beauty was dropped, total explosion of dance mayhem, total oneness of a moving mass of a beautiful crowd. Never to be repeated, we were blessed. I want a time machine!!!
Watching this, in Chicago 2022, with actual goosebumps from the primal memory of this playing on a turbo sound rig, lasers blasting overhead, moonflowers blinding us and no idea where or who the DJ was…..TUNE!
