Do you need to run water thru the lines before using it for the first time?? I saw this at Target. Side of the box shows arpeggio pod. Nice they didn't discontinue it.
What’s the tallest cup size you can put under it without the drip tray or an elevated base? I have a 7” tall travel tumbler and I want to pour directly into it for Americanos. Is this possible or will I need an elevated platform for the machine?
I have been looking for a pod based coffee maker for a couple of weeks but can’t decide because of the wide variety available. Hopefully I find one that speeds up my morning routine.
Please make sure you are reviewing the correct brand. You continuously refer to this machine as a De'Longhi Essenza Mini. Good review, but get your product right.
You say you are reviewing a Delonghi but the machine you are using is Breville.
It’s the same machine.
I read Brev is a better product.

It's been a while since I set this up, but yes I believe they recommend running some water through the machine before the first use.
Thanks for the review Erin.

That mug won’t fit.
Does it want DRMed PODs or can you use any?
You can use any pods, even reusables.
Is it true that a pod used for the espresso setting can be used more than once?
I wouldn’t.
This is exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks for the video 👍
Glad it was helpful!

how do you make it pour out more liquid?
Hold down the small cup button.
This is a Breville?
It is actually a Breville, not a DeLonghi 😉
