    In this video, I'm giving you my full review and comparison of the of the Remington PG6025 Lithium Power All-in-one beard trimmer vs the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 All-in-one beard trimmer, Model MG3750/60.
    For those of you that are trimming your beard on a budget, both of these trimmers are extremely affordable. At a price point of under $20 on Amazon, the Remington PG6025 and the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 are hard to pass up. But only one gets my full recommendation.
    Now, where the Multigroom 5100 and Multigroom 7100 both come with 18-built in length trimmer settings and a single beard comb attachment that can be sized on the device, the Multigroom 3000 requires you to keep switching out hair and beard guards for each length you require. There are also a limited number of beard and hair length trimming options. The Remington PG6025, meanwhile, includes a hair comb attachment with 8-built in lengths, but also includes 3 beard combs. This hair comb should be an advantage for the Remington PG6025, however, the comb had problems staying locked in position on the device.
    Additionally, the Remington PG6025, Multigroom 5100 and Multigroom 7100 all come with foil shaver attachments for finishing off areas with a smooth feel, while the Multigroom 3000 does not. That said, all foil shavers are not made equal, as the Remington PG6025 falls short in quality and smoothness of shave vs the Philips Norelco.
    Both the Remington PG6025 and Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 both come with the precision trimmer attachment. The Remington PG6025 has a three tooth cutting surface as compared to the roughly six tooth surface of the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000. Now even though the smaller Remington PG6025 should be superior in this category by fitting into tighter spaces, smaller was more of a problem, as only one hair was really cutting at a time.
    Overall, I found the Remington PG6025 All-in-one beard trimmer to be lacking in quality and was not impressed with the shave. I had power issues, warm blade issues, attachment issues, etc. In comparison, the Philips Norelco Multrigroom 3000 definitely feels like the better quality product. The Philips Norelco has a stronger motor, battery, cutting teeth, robustness of attachments, and overall feel.
    While both the Remington PG6025 and the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 are affordable, in my opinion, the Philips Norelco is the one that's quality made and get's the job done. It's not as full featured as the Multigroom 5100 and Multigroom 7100, but this is understandable for its bargain price.
    The Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 includes 13 pieces, which include the following:
    - A trimmer handle
    - 32mm full metal trimmer
    - Full-metal precision trimmer
    - Nose & ear trimmer
    - 3 hair guards
    - 3 beard guards
    - 1 stubble guard
    - Storage bag
    - Power Cord
    The Remington PG6025 includes 8 pieces, which include:
    - A trimmer handle
    - 32mm full metal trimmer
    - Nose, ear, and detail precision trimmer
    - Hair clipper with 8-length settings
    - Foil shaver
    - 3 beard and stubble combs

      GroomReviews i think there are 2 useable item Philips and Gillette, what is your opinion

    • @GroomReviews
      @GroomReviews  6 років тому +1

      As far as beard trimmers are concerned, Philips Norelco has definitely been my brand of choice and provided me with quality experiences over the years. I was hoping Remington was going to show me something with the PG6025, but it fell flat. As far as shaving, Gillette def has brand power and has been a go to in the past, but I want to test out some newer players in the field and see where they stand. With brands like Harry's, Dollar Shave Club, Barbasol, etc. taking away market share from Gillette, the flood gates have opened and it will be interesting to see how/if Gillette alters it's products/approach over the coming years.

      Philips Norelco for beard trimmer. The Gillette 5 Proshield Power vs Schick Quattro Power video that I put out was the first time jumping back in with a razor in many years. I've always been able to get close shaves that suited my needs with the foil shaver attachment of the Philips Norelco Multigroom products, but based on getting back into the shaving realm, Gillette is currently on top.

    I think philips products are underrated in my honest opinion. Not my favorite brand but bought two beard trimmers different ones, but same brand and I haven't had an issue or complaint. And there prices are not that at least to me compared to trimmers like Wahl.

    remington mb320c or philips multigroom series 3000 ? Please respond :D

    • @GroomReviews
      @GroomReviews  5 років тому +1

      Hi, dimi koutsos. I have not had a chance to use the Remington mb320c. As such, I can not provide an accurate assessment of its performance compared with the Multigroom 3000. That said, of the trimmers I've reviewed to-date, I have found the Philips brand to be a better performer when competing in the same category with Remington. The Multigroom 7000 is definitely a trimmer you should have a look at. If you haven't already, check out my review of the 7000 here: ua-cam.com/video/eFn0Si1Bmyc/v-deo.html. It's been a top performer and I've received a lot of positive feedback on it from the community. Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community! All the best!

It's the higher end model of the Multigroom 3000, but it may have additional features and attachments you're looking for. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! Which model do you prefer Remington pg6171 the crafter beard boss or Philips Norelco MG7750/49 Multigroom 7000.

    • @GroomReviews
      @GroomReviews  5 років тому +1

      Hi, BriBri. Unfortunately I have not had a chance yet to review the Remington pg6171 to give you my honest opinion of the trimmer. That said, of the products that I have reviewed to-date, the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 has been the best all-around performer on the beard based on its quality, cutting performance and range of attachments. It currently sits at a price of around $49.95 on Amazon as compared to the roughly $88 I'm seeing for the pg6171. If you haven't already, take a look at my full review of the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 here: ua-cam.com/video/eFn0Si1Bmyc/v-deo.html . Thanks for watching!

      You're welcome! I too had high hopes for the foil shaver attachment, but it let me down. If you haven't already, I recommend checking out my previous video on the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 seen here: ua-cam.com/video/Y6MeoQYg6co/v-deo.html. This will give you and in-depth look at my use of the product. If you really wanted a foil shaver attachment, I would refer you to the Multigroom 7000 seen here: amzn.to/2JK081k . However, since you are on a budget, the under $20 price of the Multigroom 3000 def outweighs spending an extra $30 for the foil shaver and some other attachments you will most likely never end up using.Thanks for watching and Good Luck!

      GroomReviews I actually checked out the 3000 video before this one. I looked at the foil shaver as a bonus so I’m not willing to fork out more at the moment. I’m sticking with a razor thanks for the suggestion anyway cheers.

      Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. If you want to check it out, I posted a video last week for the Remington F5-5800 Foil Shaver, which can be seen here: ua-cam.com/video/E1l5DCAj0DI/v-deo.html. Much better product then the Remington PG6025. It's a foil shaver, so doesn't have the same capabilities, but good to see what another type of Remington product can do. If you have any questions, just let me know. Thanks for watching!

    Which one is quieter?

    • @GroomReviews
      @GroomReviews  6 років тому +3

      Hey, Chris. If you go back to 10:00 and watch, you can quickly hear both devices when I turn them on. The noise levels are pretty close, but the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 to me is a bit quieter and a more tolerable sound. It gives off more of a light buzzing, while the Remington sounds like a dull struggle. If you are debating between the two, I definitely recommend the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 over the Remington PG6025. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

      GroomReviews Oh ok, both of these trimmers are available on my local Walmart and the one I had before was a Wahl trimmer that sounded a bit like a lawnmower and I really hated it, I’ll give the Norelco a try. I’ll be mostly using it downstairs do you think that’s a good idea? Thanks in advance.

    • @GroomReviews
      @GroomReviews  6 років тому +1

      Definitely test out the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 and see how it works for you. Like I said before, you'll hear the buzzing sound, but it's tolerable. If you find it's a level you're uncomfortable with, you can always return it. To your question, this trimmer should get the job done for you downstairs. I have seen several others suggest it for that use. Just take it slow and be careful with the sharp cutting blades. Good Luck!
