Really like the FA-06 except for the keys. Don't mind the plastic but they are too short. And about the over all plastic finish, well... If you drop it it will crack. But I'm happy not having to carry a lot of weight around. So on the second day of try out I am happy.
Hello Mr. Diaz. I recently got the FA06. Really loved it but i am really upset with one thing. This synth has thousands of tones but there are no good saxophones. Why why why. The saxophone sound are not at all good. The juno and the xps10 has so good saxophone. Is there any way to add those saxophones. Its a big request plz help. Looking forward to hearing from you. Hello, go to www.axial.roland.com and download the World expansion that is in the FA section. I think you will find some saxes there. Also, check out the rest of the expansions, I'm sure you'll find some that you like. Take care. -Ed.
Thanks for your reply. I have already tried all those expansion pack but no luck. One feature i did not like about FA06-08 is not able to modify and save the GM tones. Never saw such in my life on any synth workstation. I would have modified the GM sax and mixed them. Otherwise it is really a great synth. It also needed volume control for the loops. I hope there will be a firmware upgrade to fix all these issues.

Quick question - after you write the preset in the USER bank if you change to a different tone USER or PRST, how do I get back to the USER preset bank to access the tone I just created?
My best guess is when you save the tone in the tone edit screen, it will let you save it to init tone which you can rename it and also it'll show you the bank number so you should find it easily
