It’s always a terrible quality shakes video that is more helpful than over produced videos where they won’t stop talking about other stuff. Thanks man this is very helpful G.
Swear to god that this is literally the one and only helpful video on UA-cam about this topic. I’ve been so lost on how to hook up RCA’s that it isn’t even funny. Thank you so much for getting to the point and being short and sweet! We NEED more creators just like you!!!
Could not get my system to work for the life of me. Gave up for 4 months, this popped up in my feed randomly and I have it a shot. Got everything working perfectly now thank you 😭😭
Holy shit, thank you. Straight to the point. You're the only person who explains stuff in about 10 seconds. Every other video makes it seem like each wire and connection is a rocket science formula that needs 5 minutes to explain the most basic bullshit. And you add a little pizzazz with the "bam" at each connection. Ez pz
figured out just what i needed to know. super clear n concise. half the other videos out here r people confusing themselves while doing a tutorial. i highly recommend speedwire. its a 9conductor 4 channel cable with an amp continuity (remote) wire. super clean n easy to install and u never have to run an amp remote wire alone again
Oh and bro. This video is the best and easiest to understand. I’m currently installing my subwoofer amplifier i have already installed my 4 channel I’m hooking up the subwoofer amp as I’m tying. Thank you!!

Finally a video that gets to the point. I don’t need an introduction. I don’t need to know where you bought the material from. I don’t need to know any of that. I want to watch a short video on how to do what I need done. Awesome video bro.
I love it when you have to split the power wire in half so it will fit under that little screw I miss the good all days mom’s living room speaker in the back of her station wagon 😁
Damn Bro it took me 2 days lookin through video after video tryin to find a clear video showin how to run the remote wire to more than 1 amp. Thanks for the video
I subscribed man, this was short and got straight to the point without any annoying music in the background, I’ve been looking for an amp the can run my door speakers and a sub because I just didn’t want to deal with it but now that I seen this I have a lot more hope and also feel like I have more options so thank you! I just need to make sure whatever amp I buy has in and outs. I was wondering tho for the from if you split the rca in the back of the radio there isn’t a front and rear rca on the radio itself ?
Thank you so much! This is going to save my systems. My bf out a relay and some other unnecessary garbage in my truck. That I'm pretty sure fried my head unit.
@@JG-fl1xd he connected the remote wire to the back of the radio on the sub amp(master amp) and then he ran that remote wire to the 2nd amp(slave amp).. so the 2nd amp turns on whenever the 1st amp turns on
RCA for your subwoofer amp and your 4 channel amp have there own RCA output @ head unit and should be ran as such, separately. Using the pass thru on the sub amp will not allow you to control subs mids and highs independently. Only use pass through on sub amp for multiple sub/amp setups.
Im planning to add an amp in order to power my sub but, theres already an amp that came with the truck . So when i go to connect the remote turn on wire to the stereo harness how would i do that ? Do i twist all the wired together or what bc i literally dk what to do.
Just run the amps Independent one for low one for highs and make adjustments at the head until. They don’t have to be linked to each other for highs and lows.
Question anyone... Is using a distro block the preferred method? Vs running 2 separate wires? I.e. I'm planning on powering 2 separate amps and already have 4ga. run for an existing amp. And adding a 2nd amp, which calls for 0ga. That I plan to run for it.(I don't mind the extra wire and have both size kits) Is it OK to run both 0 & 4ga wires to the same battery terminal. Both will be in lined with proper fuses. And matching ground sized wires to their conter power.. help. Thanks.
You should def have fuse blocks after the distribution blocks going to the amps... And I prefer to have each amp on their own ground...to each their own
Thank you !!!!! And for the ground wires ? They gotta be stright to your ground source. If distortion occurs its gonna be your 4gage ground wire must be less than 18inches mandatory
@@877bouncer hey I was hooking up for two amps one distribution block for the power only and having the grounds go to two seperate spots any ideas why one amp would go into protect I checked the speaker wiring and I checked the grounds they are solid I cleaned them and make sure they were on good but I get no sound im just confused
Hi :) i have 2 amps rockford fosgate 1 pbr300x4 and pbr500x1. pbr300x4 uses 10 AWG and pbr500x1 use 8 AWG what cable wire do i need to use from battery to distribution box?
He's running 1 in 4G and 2 out 4G. I'm going 1 4G in and 2 8g out. so in other words use the bigger gage wire from the battery and the smaller one coming from the distribution block.
Can you hook up more then one amp with different watts and rms to positive distribution block and if 1 takes 100 anl fuse and the other a 80 anl fuse what size fuse do I use?
Wait a minute! Hold up guys! If one of your amps (or both) require a minimum of 4ga wire for proper power supply, your line-in to the distribution block needs to have the capability to handle at least double the ampacity of 4ga wire. Let's say one amps draws roughly the capacity of 4ga wire. (Around 70 amps to make this easier) Happens when the sickest beat ever comes on and you gotta jam? If both amps continuously draw the amount of amperage that the wire size they are being supplied with at the same time, one can imagine your line-in wire will have to be able to handle 140amps without melting and burning your rig down. If you need 4ga to supply your amps, then 0/2ga should be used to "supply" your distribution block. Remember, we are effectively "splitting" our line in half to supply 2 loads....just a suggestion. Oh, one more thing! Use short runs of wire! The shortest possible lengths of wire the better for power AND ground. DC power quickly degenerates due to resistance (parasitic loss). The longer the wire, the more resistance. (Think of blowing a mouthful of water through a straw. A short straw is relatively easy to blow water through. What if you double the length of the straw? We would have to work harder to push the same mouthful of water through the longer straw. Your alternator will have to work harder to "push" power through a longer wire than a shorter one....I'm out
Thank, buddy. But the problem with that is your amplifier powering the sub in the rear is now seen as 'front speakers' in your head unit.... thus making it impossible to fade from front to back speakers. If you want rear speaker control, you would have to go high level input by tapping in your rear speakers (assuming you only have one set of RCA on your head unit). But then of course you could wire in a level control knob into your 2nd amplifier and control it that way. I just would rather have front and rear control so that I can up the gain on the rear more without having the front speakers distort before the subwoofer do.... that way you can fade it more to the rear when you want to turn up the stereo and still keep the bass volume up without the front speakers distorting.
Get 4 ch Amp with speaker level inputs and RCA line out feature, means 4 input and 2 output, these days all amps have these features. Then connect amp for Sub via that line out from first amp. This way u can control fader and all left/right balance and sub will get its signal from first amp which will be set to LPF in 2nd amp for bass.
