It's a radical day dudes! As it's time for a Revamp of one of the most beloved beat'em ups on the console, I present you Konami's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game! A sequel that delivers on everything that is wanted out of a TMNT game, fun beat'em action, tubular graphics, and most important, a killer and bangin' soundtrack brought to us by Kozo Nakamura & Yasuhiko Manno! And with that Nakamura and Manno do a fantastic job arranging/converting the original arcade tunes by Miki Higashino & Mutsuhiko Izumi, while throwing in some new compositions of there own unique to this version. The arrangements and original songs all busting with that usual Konami flair, and benefiting greatly from the continued use of Drum Samples, with this game having a bit more of a unique punch to the drum samples, likely stemming from Yasuhiko Manno as they are actually credited specially for "Sound Design" while Kozo Nakamura is credited fro "Music Design", it's safe to say Nakamura was definitely responsible for most of the Arranging and Composing, but Manno is still credited for that as well for there not being further enough clarification, they likely still had involvement in Arrangements, and also speculation that they programmed the Sound Driver used on this title, but not confirmed for the time being, either way they both did a great job and this music is always praised for its energy and laying the groundwork for future soundtracks of TMNT games! We all know this is where TMNT shines the best as beat'em ups, this game is just tons of pure fun and charm, while fun to play on your own, it's even better as a 2-player experience, as it still retains part of that Arcade difficulty, and as stated earlier, this version brought two unique stages in the form of Snowy Central Park and House of Shogun, a nice design choice to give a bit more content on this home console version. This game truly earns the "Arcade Game" subtitle as it perfectly captures what everyone wanted from the first TMNT game, definitely kick some turtle shell or do some turtle shell jammin' with this awesome OST! Glad I was finally able to get to this sequel, TMNT2 is a kickass soundtrack, and so are all of you for your support as always, thanks to my Patrons as well for your consistent dedication of support, keep on listening! www.patreon.com/nikotengoku / ko-fi.com/nikotengoku
It's very interesting how most Konami games hit just slightly different with the drum samples, of course the involved Composers/Programmers have a certain style, which makes tracking down the exact Sound Driver variants difficult, but I like how most Konami OST's are unique with the samples, makes it fun to hear the different punches/kicks
Pretty much the prime example of making faithful Arrangements/Conversions of the original Arcade music (which frankly at times is better than the original) and still throwing in unique tunes of there own, Konami had it down so good!
This game was a childhood favorite of mine :) I remember borrowing this game from a friend often. Fun game for sure, and a excellent soundtrack to go with it! 🎮😎
This NES OST goes so hard. I've been unironically jamming to it for over 30 years on every mp3 player I've ever had. It flat out rocks. Everything about it is just so clean. Every beat, every harmony is so sharp. My family just got the splatter print variant vinyl album from Konami shop recently. It's totally tubular. I love this OST that much, haha!
Down the Sewers, Snowy Central Park and the Boss Theme really really rock!!! Definitely some of the best tracks of all the NES Catalog!!! I love this game, really one of the most iconic beat'em-ups for the console!!!
Lots of great memories playing this one. Off course music being an integral part of the experience. You cant go wrong with Konami in the auditory department
This Game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 The Arcades Game was the Best Game for NES I got that on PS5 TMNT Cowabunga Collection Awesome Upload Soundtrack as Always Cowabunga!
The whole trilogy (and hell even Tournament Fighters) certainly have there own strengths to give, but certainly TMNT 2 & 3 are always in discussion for best OST, the radical tunes just don't stop!

Totally agree, dude! For some reason it won't let me write my own comment, so thanks for another banger, Niko ❤
The drum track is hitting harder in this remix for sure!!!

An ost that consistently stays good and tight from start to finish, no filler here.
I still hum the NES original themes for Snowy Central Park and the House of Shogun!

Pizza (hut) Time 🍕
Times Square is always my favorite Track.
It captures the spirit of the show so much.

My personal favorite of the TMNT beat 'em up style games. Nostalgia factor.
Down the Sewers, Snowy Central Park and the Boss Theme really really rock!!!
Definitely some of the best tracks of all the NES Catalog!!!

Can’t forget the Technodrome😭😭😭
Cowabunga!
Time for some Totally Radical tunes!
Me and my cousin played this forever. SCENE 1 MUSIC FOR LIFE
Definitely among the most Radical, will love to see the excitement and praise come again when I come around to TMNT3! ;)
My guy!!! Coming in with the save on this terrible Wednesday!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌.
Thanks always, Niko!! Keep it up, my man! 😁😁
Thank you, glad to make any bad days better for folks, keep enjoying the music! :)

COWABUNGA!
This Game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 The Arcades Game was the Best Game for NES I got that on PS5 TMNT Cowabunga Collection Awesome Upload Soundtrack as Always Cowabunga!
hello I'm here for good music and nostalgia , and let me say that I am in the right place !!!
The tiger on that damn Shogun stage😭😭😭
The trick is not to jump kick it. Actually, I follow that rule for most enemies. Makes it worth playing as all four turtles.
I'm more partial to the Manhattan Project OST (best soundtrack on the NES in my opinion) but this is no slouch. Easily top 20.
The whole trilogy (and hell even Tournament Fighters) certainly have there own strengths to give, but certainly TMNT 2 & 3 are always in discussion for best OST, the radical tunes just don't stop!
You're a legendary DUDE!
I had a stupid fake handheld console with this game on it. I know I wasted my money but at least had a reasonable amount of fun back in the day
woohoo!
This game reminds me of when Pizza Hut was the best. They always had this arcade machine.
Before Yum! Brands gradually ruined it.
10:52 Best soundtrack in the game, especially at 11:19.
Can't beat that radical TMNT theme, the Composers truly gave love making it sound as tubular as possible!
Gnarly dudes!!
🐢🐢🐢🐢🍻 HAPPY 40th TMNT! 🦏 🐗
Didn't this game have a title screen theme, too? Still, thank you for the upload!
Nope.
SAY YO PRAYERS TOITLES
