Bob works for the Indy Motor Speedway Radio Network covering IRL, so I don't think he'll be on TV full-time. Thanks for these clips, Nadeau1064. Now you just need a good video-capture card for your computer!
Cool see Jarrett and Gordon congratulating Ricky after this big win. Even though we all hated Jeff Gordon at the time he was a good sport to his fellow drivers....except maybe Tony Stewart.
That is correct, thegov1020! I started rooting for Rudd in '94, Nadeau in '98, and Franchitti this year. :) Too bad none of them are driving right now. Jamie McMurray's been my new driver since last season.
Wow same here, I like in Wisconsin and at a local supermarket they had the half cut away car, I remember this race because Ricky burned his back real bad due to an oil problem.
I remember this being a duel between Gordon and Jarrett until the very end, when it became an issue of fuel mileage and they both had to stop-and-go for gas.
I dont understand how a race this old was recorded by anything but a VCR but this person managed to record it smartphone style in 1997 like a boot leg film thats still in theaters lol
You are not the only one, singingkicker. Bob Jenkins is my hero! Bestwick is good, though; I didn't think so when he started out, but in today's Weber era, I miss his call terribly.
Thanks for posting all your vids, man... I really hope you don't mind me posting the video reply. I've never actually done it before. I'm in the process of going through my own race tapes and posting highlight videos of the races I have. There are about 10 or so up now on my channel, and I'm still working on my rather big cassette collection. Keep posting the good stuff! I love the Nadeau winning at Atlanta clip, especially! :)

Ricky Rudd: the first guy that kiss the bricks after the win the brickyard 400
Now that was good racing.
RUDD the LEGEND : )
H.O.F.
@countryfan368 No, he just sat on the pole.
No I wish eithier him or Allen Bestwick would replace Dr Jerry Punch, he belongs in Pit road
Dale Jarrett dominated this race, but once again, fuel mileage came into play.
@SicandTwistedNYY sorry I accedently preesed thumbs down when I ment thumbs up
