Classic iron wolf. This beats jogging on a treadmill watching paint dry. Bored out of your head. This guy has improved my cardio 10 fold. Lost 30 lbs in 8 months. Only doing his workouts.
What about running (outside, why would you run on a treadmill anyways?), cycling, swimming, hiking or even skimo? These are all better cardio workouts. There is nothing wrong with this workout per se but it certainly isn't the best workout to improve your cardiovascular fitness.
@@Fortissemper Not exactly sure what you mean by "efficient" but this workout is not pure cardio like steady state cycling or running at about 70% of your max effort. It is definitely more difficult though which is another major drawback from a cardio building perspective as you can't perform it for very long. You do you though. I was just saying that comparing it to a treadmill makes no sense because a treadmill is the most useless machine in the gym. You can run literally anywhere.
Did this in the evening after a horrible day of work. Felt like a boulder was lifted from my shoulders, but I got it done. Love these little painful 30 minute push through workouts!! Keep it up Iron Wolf!!
Iron wolf, you’re truly an animal. I tried this workout and had to take 1-2 minutes breaks between sets in the beginning, 3-4 minute breaks at the end. But I got 30 minutes in. 12 rounds. This is truly a gut check and I know I need to do more cardio this winter after seeing my performance. This is so inspiring. Thanks for making me almost vomit.

The first time through this workout (about 2 wks ago) I would hit pause between sets to catch my breath, but I did all the sets. This time today I instead took breaks if I wanted to, but didn't pause, just to see how many I could push myself to do in the 30 minutes. I got 11 good, clean reps, which I'm really proud of. I'd say I put out 85%... to be honest the pace you set intimidated me (I'm not too proud to be honest), but I'm getting more mentally tough with each workout. I appreciate your lead Iron Wolf.
