This is such a clever scene,,, plurality of reality.. the little boy setting the table, while the bored Marcello phones the girl he's deceiving.. these two people at a seaside restaurant just being themselves unconnected with each other, except for Prado's melody Patricia; the contrast between the world weary Marcello and the innocence of the little boy, bound and brought togeher in this empathetic scene of two people just being themselves.
This isn't actually a Perez Prado recording of Patricia, but was used in the movie. Nevertheless, I'd love to have a recording of THIS version, I love the different organ sound, and lazier tempo....... THANKS for posting
***** Sure wish I did........ it may be some Italian version that Nino Rota just used in the film. There were MANY versions of this recorded after Prado released it.
+MarkinDC Thanks for that, I didn't realise it wasn't him. I really like this version and would like to know where it comes from. Great movie and I love this scene and the use of music generally in the movie.

ua-cam.com/video/ng3fFbHl-XI/v-deo.html kind of similar but not the same :(
@@shannondollie same here. I’d guess “Franco Ferrara and His Orchestra” recorded it, and it wasn’t saved on the soundtrack.
"La foca" Pérez Prado, mijos... M ;)
