It's nice to see youthful energy infused into an ancient estate. Congratulations on your wedding. Good luck creating income producing ideas, and thank you for taking us on your journey!
Congratulations on getting married!! Someone gave me a bit of advice and I wanna pass it on to you, go to bed laughing as much as you can! 😊💕 wishing you guys nothing but love and happiness!!
You are so charismatic and engaging to watch and learn from James. How lucky are we to get a weekly glimpse into your life. Thank you for sharing and your editing and filming is so beautifully put together. x
As a horse person I was shocked and dismayed that you did not introduce us to the horses! Just kidding! Wishing you much happiness tomorrow and always on your wedding day! Emma is going to be a beautiful bride!
Congratulations on your wedding. Advice I like to give newlywed men; the best thing you can do for your children, is to love their mother. Looking forward to how the manor looks in the summer.
The same advice applies to the ladies as well: the best thing you can do for your children is to love their father. The best thing for your marriage is to love your husband.
Greetings from Canada! First of all, we have to compliment you on the quality of the videos. The scripts flow naturally and the video work is very good, so we are happy subscribers. Secondly, with the GCN connection hosting cyclocross events on a regular basis seems like an obvious business opportunity as there is a built-in fan base already. And lastly, but most important, we wish James (aka Hank/Jimbo) and Emma a wonderful wedding tomorrow and a happy life together. Oh, and we were disappointed that the bicycle was not ridden back into the house at the end!
Great video James, hope to visit again next year, I have been a couple of times, the first time I met your grandfather, he showed us the church and last time your Aunt Caroline showed us around. I look forward to trying the new Cafe in the Barn. Have a great wedding day tomorrow. Chavenage is in good hahds with you and Emma.
Congratulations! Love to see that you have space for rewilding! It might be a cool collaboration to have a naturalist come out to help with thinning out your invasives and planting some more native trees in your woods.
Married 46 years. Not always a bed of roses but we always say " who else would have us ! " Wishing you both all the very best for your marriage and also Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.
When you said you were getting married tomorrow I was like "sheesh don't fall of your bike and break something, or crap don't fall into those brambles and get all scratched up." your bride wouldn't be too happy with you lol 😆😅 Crongratulations on your wedding, you make a great team. 😍

Ah, I've really waited for cycling content! What a great idea to have CX or gravelrides/-races at this amazing place, I would like to join (or just for (working) holidays). Emma and Hank, all the best for your future life and love together, congratulations! 🎉 Merry Christmas and a joyful and healthy New Year. 🎄
I cycled over last Sunday and enjoyed a great flat white and a fabulous slice of flapjack (OK, I admit it, I actually had 2 slices!) Also bumped into Olly who was there with some chaps from Bath. All the very best wishes to you & Emma for your wedding tomorrow & have a very Happy Christmas!
The average person being landed with all this land and history might be overwhelmed by the scary scale of it. Good job Hank is one of those ready to rise to any and anything life throws at him .
Quick one sir, all of us joint GCN and Francis Cade (Cade Media) supporters have unilaterally agreed you should definitely do a bike packing trip together in the not too distant future ❤ so glad to see you're still doing GCN and this amazing side project. I used to live in Long Newnton just outside Tetbury and absolutely adored the area ❤
Great video. The historic barn could be rented out to one of the many antiques businesses in Tetbury as storage for stock if you make it wind and waterproof. That way it brings in some money until you decide what to do with it. If you refurbish it completely you can turn it into a bike holiday/training centre- accommodation for groups + everything a group of bikers would need. You could organise multiple day stays with biking challenges etc.
I love the video James, I appreciate you bringing your other passions into this video, and being able to be the you we know from GCN. Congrats to you and Emma.
These videos are brilliant! Riding in the house was completely bonkers (as was the GCN penny farthing adventure); loved every moment of it! Looks like you have great neighbors that won't be running amok or partying through the night as well. The history of your estate is fascinating (as Emma says, it's older than America, lol) and your wedding chapel is amazing. Looking forward to the next installment and footage from your wedding and reception! Cheers!
Hi James, congrats on getting married. Another great video and super nice to recognise some of the trails in the area. Maybe consider a GCN / GMBN future project to open up some additional loops to link the bridleway and footpaths across the estate.
So, how many times did your Grannie tell you, "No bicycles in the house!". LOL. This is the sort of tour that might have been conducted on horseback, but you are you, and don't shy away from the wet and muck. Good humor, and amazing neighbors. His Majesty can probably recommend someone great to help with your formal gardens when you are ready. A really interesting collection of historical locations, which will be fun to revisit in future videos. I'm sure Emma is happy you didn't wipe out the day before your wedding, with a black eye or such documented in the photos. Cheers, and congratulations!
Thank you for inviting us into your world, this is such a great video James. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I am looking forward to the next episode. Would love to bring my trail bike over to the Cotswolds next year!
What an amazing and interesting life you have Hank! Riding your bike around your beautiful manor grounds, and inside the manor too lol! Your neighbours are the King of England and Princess Anne! Out for a ride before this video on a penny farthing! And a stop at your own cafe! Love it! Wishing you and Emma all the best! Congratulations on your wedding!
How freaky, I visited that church for the very first time last Thursday while they were preparing for the Christmas music night the following evening. What an incredible setting for a wedding! I just hope it's dry for you and the paving isn't like a skating rink. I'm thoroughly enjoying these videos and bravo for getting the bike out in this one. Here's wishing you both many happy returns.
Ideas for your Barn.... convert into an Antique store or Farm to Table restsurant and sell the produce you grow ...not sure if it's still going since I havent been able to visit for a few years, but there used to be a place called "The Organic Farm Shop" in the Cotswolds. You might be able to get some tips from them😊 Otherwise, it would make a fabulous Air B & B😃
Happy wedding! Italian barn as an airbnb or cool wood fire pizza lunch spot. You could also rent the hangar to a few selected flight aficionados, and if you don’t have them already get some horses for horseback riding weekend stay tours. Visitors could sleep at the estate or in the outbuildings.
OMG, watching this episode brought memories of riding a bike on a dirt path going through the pasture field and the feeling when all the bones and your jaw rattles when you go downhill! So much fun! Congratulations on your wedding!
*Thanks for the awesome tour via pushbike... 🙂 Fancy living right smack in the middle between the Princess Royal Princess Anne and King Charles III homes 🙂nz*
Congratulations on your wedding. I do think that most of your buildings could be turned into holiday lets of differing sizes. The barn could be a large 6 or 7 bedroom house for family reunions or Christmas holidays, while smaller buildings would house smaller groups. Another choice would be to make it an event space on the ground floor and an apartment above.
First, congratulations on getting married! I’m loving these videos, and the perfectly placed GCN plug was brilliant! It was also great to see you gearing up and getting out on the bike-your love for riding is written all over your face. The history at your place is fascinating; you should dive into that more! And as for subscribing, don’t worry-I’ve been subscribed since day one. ☺️
How about Canyon sends Tiffany Cromwell and Valtteri Bottas to The Manor to assist with planning a cyclocross event? And turn the barn into "Lowgrove", where bramble berries and bees on the estate can give you fruit preserves and honey to sell to visitors? Perhaps some grain crops worthy of on-site milled flours and breads? You may have more options than growing weed in the bunker... and by the way, CONGRATULATIONS on your marriage! Happy Holidays. Cheers!
Great video. When you hinted at being 'sandwiched between royalty'. 🤔 I thought. 'Oh, they've got Dan Lloyd and King Kelly living either side of them'.🤴👸🤪😉
Watching these videos it is so cool to see your behind the scenes tour.. especially on the bike! It makes me wonder what all the other GCN folk do in their non presenting time, I don’t think I’ve noticed you talking about your manorial home there! So cool that you’re both enacting a new vision for such a historic place. That grain barn.. maybe you could make branded flour or convert it into another cafe/ bike repair and hire stop?!? Good luck with all the events.. and 9:46 if you’re both married by the time you see this CONGRATS you two lovely people 🎉
Lord Hank, I hope you do some CX races around the major. Nothing beats a bike racing with excellent scenery. I'm also looking forward to the bunker restoration. It'd be hilarious if you and Blake did a spooky sleepover in the bunker (when it's done👍) And tell us about the horses 🐎
Wishing you and Emma a Very Special day as you continue Together into Exciting New challenges and Adventures. ❤ to you both from Nashville Tennessee USA
It's nice to see youthful energy infused into an ancient estate. Congratulations on your wedding. Good luck creating income producing ideas, and thank you for taking us on your journey!
I'm a retired wedding celebrant. Use the big barn for weddings. People love barn weddings.
I am so glad you are keeping up your GCN presenting and bike challenges! Do it all, brother!
For the non-GCN viewers, this gives a taste of James's riding style.
I don't know what else to say other than I think this channel rocks. I love cycling, I love English manor houses and history. Win, win, win...
Cycling & Manor living, Best of both worlds! #GCN #LATM
Ah, the manor and the bike… it’s a pleasure to see the parts of your life together… congratulations on your marriage… thanks for sharing
Congratulations on getting married!! Someone gave me a bit of advice and I wanna pass it on to you, go to bed laughing as much as you can! 😊💕 wishing you guys nothing but love and happiness!!

Many congratulations on your wedding! Have a lovely Christmas!
Congratulations! Love to see that you have space for rewilding! It might be a cool collaboration to have a naturalist come out to help with thinning out your invasives and planting some more native trees in your woods.
No riding bikes in the house !!!!
Finally! You got a new helmet. Glad to hear you're still on GCN. Losing Manon was hard enough

Another great video. Thank you for the wonderful insight. 🙂

Congrats to you and Emma.
I love learning about the history and vast land around the estate. You just need to post more often.
I would definitely do an archaeological dig at the icehouse and the World War II bunker. And best wishes for your wedding. 💐💐
Ah ha.., Life at the Manor combined with Hank on the bike… thumbs up.
So happy to have found your channel! Best wishes to you both for a beautiful wedding day 💕

Enjoying your videos xxx very informative! Well scripted! Great place to ride the bike!! Glad your family if farming it too !
Oh, and yes to a gravel/cross race on your estate!
Love the estate and how you share it. Keeping up a family home like this is one of the most beautiful things someone can do.

That is awesome on a bike! Congrats and wish the best on your special day!
Woolen trousers are able to shed water and stay warm when wet. I know they are out of fashion but they are practical in winter.
Mazel Tov!
Great video. When you hinted at being 'sandwiched between royalty'. 🤔 I thought. 'Oh, they've got Dan Lloyd and King Kelly living either side of them'.🤴👸🤪😉
