Great and informative video. There was unfortunately a lot of background noise with added music, which made the video less audible for people with hearing issues. Overall, helpful and informative. Keep up the good work.
Is public transport in Thessaloniki is reliable? We want to take a bus to Aristotelous square from the airport SKG. where to buy the buss tickets and how much will it be. Is it close by the airport.
Hello Alex. Great information. Can you please tell me where to buy a bus ticket to go to the airport from Syntagma Square. What is the price and how long does it take? I hope you can answer. Thank you
A bit confused. I will be in Athens for 5 days, but have read one can walk everywhere easily or that taxis are cheap. I had planned on taking the Metro from airport to my hotel downtown. Now I’m wondering if I should buy one of those 5 days tickets instead. Also, I am over 65 so do I have to purchase at window and show someone my ID?
It’s 4.10€ It’s generally not worth getting one except if you use the public transportation for over 4.5 hours in a day or if you want to use bus line X80 (to use it you need a 24 hr ticket). In all other cases get 3 tickets and use those (2 for 2.30€ and 1 for 1.2€. Total: 3.6€)
Hi Alex, I liked your videos very much. You have a very pleasing personality and your way of sharing information is very attractive. I am a travel consultant from Kolkata, India. I make customised tours to Europe for my countrymen. Is there anyway I can connect with you? Thanks.
You have to validate it for the 5 days to start counting and then you validate it to enter AND exit a metro station and only when entering a bus, trolley bus or tram
@@svoin which is the 1st line of metro also know as ΗΣΑΠ (Electric Rail Of Athens and Peiraus) but it's the Metro line 1 owned by same company and same train model

Not sure what happened. Your about a 100 videos short. I think you would be the perfect person to show people around Greece before we arrive.

How to buy train tickets from Patras to Athens Airport using cash.
Can I buy 5 x 90 minute tickets, and then use them as I need them during the week? And are these 5 paper tickets, or 5 'trips' on a single ticket?
Yea! 5 trips on a single ticket
dont know if u will answer but do they use app now? or isnt that a thing yet?
great info. btw, you are so cute!
Hi if you buy a 5 day ticket from the machine is it already validated or do you have to validate it in a machine before boarding?
You have to validate it for the 5 days to start counting and then you validate it to enter AND exit a metro station and only when entering a bus, trolley bus or tram
On the machine it says Athens airport round - is that a return ticket from Airport ?
If i bought the 5 days ticket, does it need recharging or i can use it to go anywhere in greece ?
It doesn't need recharging as long as the 5 day-period is not over. What do you mean go anywhere in Greece? This ticket is valid only for Athens.
How about the hours of operation
❤thank you!
excellent vid! If I need 2 tickets do I go thru all the steps and then change quantity to 2? And it spits out 2 tickets? thanks!
Yes exactly
