That seems harsh, Colin Jackson for one is a former longstanding world record holder himself so well knows the magnitude of the achievement. Johnsons stunned reaction was real, he was taking in how fast that was and what it had taken to do it. The other 2 were jyst whooping at a number and new record, no real thought of the actual acheivment
That seems harsh, Colin Jackson for one is a former longstanding world record holder himself so well knows the magnitude of the achievement. They just had different ways of reacting to what was, after all, a quite ludicrously fast run, from an unprecedented athlete at the top of his game, who seemed to be ripping up the record books for fun. Joy and hilarity feels equally as valid a response as stunned silence.
