    The first Guitars are awesome. The Bodyshape looks very simililar to the SA-Series from Ibanez. Like that, especially with the Musicman headstock :p

    • @mcr0741
      @mcr0741 4 роки тому +1

      The SA series is damn near perfect, except for that pointy headstock that they use for the RG lineup, and that ugly ass unconventionally shaped chrome mounting ring they use for the bridge pickup. Good thing they ditched the tilt back headstocks atleast.
      They're priced great, play great, hold tune great, well built and really versatile.
      I wish if they'd introduce the same rounded headstocks on them as the AZ series, and just go with a conventional rectangle mounting ring for the pickup, or just body mount it. And just maybe, have a few versions with HH or HSH configuration too.

    • @peterpeterson1164
      @peterpeterson1164 4 роки тому +1

      @@mcr0741 Absolutly. My first Guitar was a Sa 260 fm from the "old range" (I guess 2008, but im sot sure) and its still my favourite Guitar. What I dont like on her is not the Chromestuff and the headstock, but the Humbucker. So i swaped it with a dimarzio super distortion. Now its absoltly gorgeus.
      Did play the new Range from 2018? How are they? I dont like the Look, the older ones Look better in my opinion.

    • @mcr0741
      @mcr0741 4 роки тому

      @@peterpeterson1164 I don't believe much has gone into the looks, they're almost exactly the same. Except, they got rid of the tilt back on the head, and they're now using a more conventional trem system which is smaller.
      I've tried an older SA160 and the new SA260. I also felt like the fretboards are a bit more rounder now. Still absolutely hate that chrome pickup mounting ring. It looks even more obnoxious next to that smaller trem.
      At this point, I feel like Ibanez is really the unsung hero of guitar brands. They're really good instruments, and probably the most affordable too.

They have 1 "axis" guitar in their current line up, but it's actually more of a "sub" (no floyd rose, no flame finish) guitar from their older range.
