One of my text edits was out of place. Those clips aren't made for putting the side up like I did, but it actually worked if you want to put one side up to block sun or wind.

Okay Chris you convinced me I jumped on Amazon and bought the Onewind hammock.

The ridgeline is UHWMPE. That chemical composition has several brand names, the two most common are Dyneema and Spectra rope. Both are excellent, and are five times stronger than Kevlar line.

Looks like a great hammock! I am still using a Warbonnet Blackbird XL that I have had since about 2015. The cordage that you are looking for is probably Dyneema. It's crazy strong. I use it for a permanent ridgeline like you have set up for a consistent hang.

Looks like a great product for the price point.
Going to have to get one.
    Thanks for sharing.

I went camping with mine last night. Slept very good. I bought it because you can change which side you can get in and out of. My Gooutfiter 2.0 requires to use one side. It also sleeps very well. The 12' has a lot of material but using the steaks to spread it out is a must for me. I find the sweet spot and sleep very comfortably. At first Onewind sent me the wrong hammock but fixed it very quickly and let me keep the one that they accidentally sent me. Customer service is very easy to work with and very quick to correct the problem. They have my business for other things now.

I have a Dream hammock which I've used several times in fall weather. Needs an underquilt which I didn't use. Recently pulled the trigger on a negative 40 degree Superior Gear hammock. It's got the underquilt sewn in so you don't have to F around with it. Waiting for it to arrive. Should be here for winter hammock camping

I have been using the hammock from Pathfinder (designed by Dave Canterbury) it's my first hammock ever and I like it for what it is, but I really like this one you showed, especially for the price said in the really funny recording. Thanks a lot for showing.

Looks like a sweet hammock. I like the integrated bug screen.

The side-clips are multi-purpose...use with shock-cord to create tie-outs that keep the hammock held open (often in a V shape...the two ends attached to the hammock and the point of the V going to the ground-stake), and also use for keeping the head-end & foot-end of an underquilt held properly for whichever diagonal you prefer to sleep on (and thus minimize / eliminate the possibility of the underquilt slipping out from underneath you).
    UHMWPE
    Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthene
    Dyneema is made from UHMWPE
    Amsteel is made from UHMWPE
...a lot of crazy light / strong things are made from UHMWPE

11 foot is the minimum for a comfy flat lay across the diagonal, imv. Just bought a couple Tukeke 12’ hammocks for replacing my 11 foot ones (we have one apiece, makes for a better nights sleep that way!) - £10.50 about 16dollars - for both of them. I know the Tukeke brand, having been using the 11 foot ones for a number of years now, parachute nylon and well made, albeit no frills (I made our own bugnets and straps). Posted March 10, 2024

Hey, great video Sir, I always get destroyed by bugs through the bottom side of netted hammocks. I'm gonna try permitherin next time I go out to keep them off, does that happen to you as well? Thanks for the content!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I LOVE that PM101 is back in all its glory! 🤘🤘🤘 Also, an all in one hammock is a BIG incentive for me.

Likely the cordage is amsteel. I believe its also known as a dynema material.

I'm only at the part of the video where you're commenting on the clips that you hooked to the ridgeline. I'm sure you've figured this out by now, but the clips are so that you can attach the Onewind underquilt to your hammock. They aren't necessary, but they certainly keep everything nice and contained

I personally worry that the zipper might go to crap on the attached bugnet, which would make the bugnet useless and since the zipper can go bad on either side (hammock or net side) getting a replacement net for it may not be plausable. I'd rather have a separate net.

Love our Hennessy Hammock Tents. ✳✳ HINT: Attach about 2.5 to 3 ft bright shock cord onto the zippers you pull to close up after you get in. Makes things so much easier.

Hammocks are the way to go IMO…. Doesn’t matter what kind of pad you’re using, sleeping in the ground hurts.

I'm guessing it's a chinese company as they don't tell you what country they are from and also say that "hand pick our products" which sounds to me like they don't make it (or even design it) themselves.
