- Here is the second single from our EP, 'The Library, Vol. 4. It's an arrangement that's been in the library for a few decades now, and it's a total gem. The song is iconic, the harmony is delicious, and our instrumental collaborators are wonderful. The film comes from A Fly on the Wall productions.

My first King's Singers personal impression was the Budapest Concert 1981.06.16. I was only 16 years old, without ticket listened this marwellous concert illegal, standed between the rows on the top level of Music Academy Liszt Ferenc Budapest big concert hall. Now I'm 56 years old. But the QUALITY of King's Singers, the permanent tradition of quality, the high intelligence of music performance - this is absolut not changed. Fantastic voice balances, very high quality arrangement, cristal clear intonation... what a beauty for my ears permanently over 41 years by King's Singers ANYTIME..... thank You soo much and gratulation for the continuing of this vonderful tradition and best way of music.
what a wonderful birthday present (my 62nd), thank you The King's Singers
Happy birthday!
Absolutely beautiful.
Lovely. This song will always be special to me as someone who sings every day. First we sung it as a child many decades ago at home. Secondly I did a vast amount of singing with all my children including the youngest boys, twins - the latter up to some pretty high music grades but then their voices broke and this was the one song one of them sung for a UK music exam when he was no longer a treble - it was the last time we sang together, sad but a sweet memory.
Mr. Yip is smiling from heaven
Great arrangement -beautifully done
All those cluster chords! My insides are tingling!
Listening for the first time here. This is awesome. Wanted to hear after a nearby college was in the news for inviting the King's Singers for a second time and then abruptly cancelling their scheduled concert a hour before the start for "lifestyle concerns"! Pensacola Christian College is the guilty party.
Pensacola Christian “College” is not now and has *never* been an institution of higher learning. It’s an indoctrination camp for Far Right nutso Evangelicalism
Somewhere over the rainbow...there you are 🌈 ❤
Stellar arrangement and vocal performance. I could hear this every day for the rest of my life.
Finding The King's Singers was a Covid serendipity.
I love this informal setting, and the way the music allows you to be freer. The smiles come and go, are more reactive to the music. For example, the counter tenors caught each others' eyes at a particularly beautiful moment, and smiled. I love that acknowledgement when something is really good; the look was genuine joy. It's hard looking both professional and at ease. My preference is always for being at ease. Your depth and breadth as musicians is absolutely in evidence in this video.
i keep coming back to listen to this
Just awesome! Love the arrangement.
One of the best covers i have ever listened to. Just beautiful and elegant, simply the best ❤️❤️❤️
Helemaal mee eens!
@@elifg1328 wie?!
We are loving these fresh recordings of some of the arrangements sung by The King’s Singers former members in the 70s and 90s. The current members are as wonderful as previous members have been. And so young!
King singers are brilliant : the finest arrangement and a sensitive performance make me hear this song as it was the first time ! Chapeau bas messieurs.
Chapeau bas est la traduction de ''hats off''? Intéressant.
Wow. Absolute perfection! Now have a new favorite arrangement of this classic song!
Me too :)
Luscious vocals and arrangement
I got chills. Felt this with every hair on my arms. BRAVISSIMO!
🐦straight up into harmonie heaven youre wonderful this is what we all need to hear and sing along in these days thank you King' Singers
When I started watching the video, I immediately thought of a holiday or a first-class airline commercial: It's warm, yet sophisticated, and just feels right. Btw, this happens to be one of my all time favorite songs...and you didn't disappoint. Well done!
Amazing across the board as always, but I have to say Julian's tone is sounding especially sublime in this (2:43-2:58 is the clearest solo).
Quite possibly the most beautiful arrangement of this classic I've ever heard. Thanks Gents!
Wow! Just wow!
We met the Kings Singers during the 1970s in Paris
at their Concert , which
thrilled us to no end! Their
voices ....absolutely
stunning...loved them ever
since!!!
Divine. Such skill throughout from them all but mega props go to the purity and clarity of sound from the tenor, Julian Gregory, at 2:44.
Bar raised - again. Thank you King's Singers.
Simply beautiful!!!
Great to hear this wonderful arrangement. Have always been an enormous fan and it was a pleasure to perform with them and the Queensland Pops Orchestra in 2012.
Wow, this has to be the best arrangement of this song I've ever heard, Judy Garland notwithstanding. Goosebump city!!
Stunningly beautiful! Thank you!
My God, what an incredible performance of an incredible arrangement! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
A fantastic arrangement, Neil! And perfect sung by all those fantastic singers! Really a great delight! Thank you all, for bringing some shine in our lives.
Outstanding!! this is the most magical arrangement of this song. One feels totally transported by the glorious harmonies. It is wonderful to hear such vocal talent.
I got chills listening to this. Well done.
So calm and soothing yet full of longing. A joy and an inspiration.
(Not just the fast tracks are artful.)

Just beautiful and soothing. Love from South Africa
Wonderful, warm and wistful too xxx
Perfect. A clássic well revisited.
ピアノが入ったことで声による和音の響きが失われるのが残念。
全体的に素晴らしいが、個人的にはキングスシンガーズならではのアカペラで聴きたいです。
Amazing....thank you! ☀️🌿
Old coger here: Well done, good arrangement. I'm partial to acapella arrangements.
Man...😌 and the harmony for this arrangement is so beautiful!

Beautiful! Is the entry Ella Fitzgerald’s entry?
Is this arrangement available commercially for sheet much purchase?
" try not to cry, try not to cry" -.-,
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
A l'écoute de l'autre chanteur...
Avec des voix superbes.
Obligés de planer...
gut
Schöner geht's nicht (I wish a smiley with hearts on the ears)
Lovely stuff, great arrangement but in truth the bass is far to intrusive, half its volume would have been much more in keeping.
Why does the pianist have the music flat instead of on the stand? It doesn't look to be for mic-ing purposes...?
I prefer to have the music stand flat so that I can maintain easy eye contact with the rest of the group, especially the bass player. It also means you can hear the sound of the piano a little more clearly because there isn't a music stand blocking the sound between the piano strings and my ears
I just discovered you because you were in the news because a religious college in an American state cancelled you because one of you are gay. You all are extremely talented and sing such beautiful songs! I'm so sorry you were discriminated against. Please don't let the small-mindedness of one shrinking group of people here alter your view of America or the American people! Most of us abhor discrimination of any kind and just want to love everyone.
Its wonderful, but it all takes rehearsal and work. Which doesn't come easy.
I love you guys, but for this song I'd rather have straight Judy Garland, thanks! Flawless nonetheless.
I wish The King’s Singers would find a video outfit that isn’t so obsessed with showing how edgy they can be. The constant swooping of the camera doesn’t match the nature of the wonderful singing at all. I just wish one of these video producers would learn the value of less is more and depth of field.
so Jacob Collierish
@@liamdunachie yeah, absolutely nice arrangement! you are so lucky to know him! :P
Sorry,no feeling
It’s British; they express themselves via vowel matching and intonation. This is practically English Puccini.
Beautiful! But why the band with a cappella, and where is your eternal love for masks, and 15ft distances, and Fauci-injections? -- And Ukraine, eternal, and Highest?
I'm afraid you have shown yourself to be a group, not of music -- but with an agenda. I'm really unhappy, having listened to your previous singers -- with high respect.
