What a beautiful collection of sovereigns thank you to the owner of these beautiful coins I'm very sorry for the sad circumstances, and thank you Numi for showing them to us with such a brilliant informative video these coins will always be unaffordable for me to buy but how can I not enjoy looking at them thanks again you've made my day.
Astounding coins, quality close ups and a privilege to see them. Despite only having one free hand due to filming , this video is still pure class. Thank you and well done. This is my Oscar nomination. Prepare your acceptance speech!
Incredible coins! Magnificent collection. Thanks Numi for taking the time to make this video. I will this definitely watch this video a few more times.
A most desirable collection. Sad circumstances for sale though. I noticed they are all encapsulated, a good choice, it would be interesting to know the post-auction value of them. Cheers.
Hi Lumi, Thanks for showing all those great coins. The 1839 proof sovereign is my favorite. I hope I will be able to acquire similar one in the future, Good luck for your auction and hope you will score some of your favorite coin/coins. :)
It sounds weird but I like the circulation coins...not cos they are cheap but I like to know they had a life...and I started out with a few encapsulated coins but liked to see the scratches and aging from real and and not antiqued...maybe I'm the weird one..lol.
Those early proofs are just stunning. I'm particularly taken by the jubilee head Victoria, such detail in the hair and the gown, never really been a fan of the tiny crown until I've seen it as a proof. Let us know what you won if any
What a beautiful collection that you got to touch. Since you are British, these must be like the Saint Guadens for us Americans 😂. I hope you get one and keep it for yourself. I just got an 1973 open three MS 63 three cent nickel that I can't wait to show.
Vann Wood because the revenue from advertisers helps to support the channel a little bit and if on a long video there are more ads then the revenue is slightly more.

1838 pattern proof. Gorgeous. Charles really knew what he was doing in coins! Discernment plus a good budget.
9:35 It's the portrait too. Gorgeous portrait. A young lady. Just has such a fresher feel than the older age portraits.

I met Charles in London once. Quite an eccentric dude and very easy to get on with.

6:53 that is a wild haircut. Love it!

I think it sold for about £12,000
Amazing. Thanks for the heads up. I don't know if I will ever want to put that much cash into a single coin.

I won two coins one is in this video ))
@@Numistacker I'm saying you went all in on the 1817 proof! 😌
One difference in the 1843 is that it had 7 strings as opposed to 6 in the 1838.I believe there were some overdate varieties as well
Amazing..
Thanks for the video!!! Likeeeee my friend 👍👍👍👍👍👍🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
great video
Amazing collection! Let us know witch one you picked up.

I have been trying to swap many coins for fewer coins over the last few months and did buy one of those coins
Numistacker Which coin?
😍👍👍👍
So sad man if family not interested. So is it better to find another heir to take over & expand the collection in this case?
I'm thinking about collecting some half-Sovereigns, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get any for about $200.
Hatton Garden Metals in London or perhaps APMEX or PO Pinehurst in USA
Thanks for the show. If you do acquire one will you have it re-graded by NGC?
I think probably no but perhaps it may yet happen
You have a lot of adds on your channel!
Yes it’s a 22 minute video so can take one more than a 12 min video
Numistacker, why are there so many ads, if I may ask?
Vann Wood because the revenue from advertisers helps to support the channel a little bit and if on a long video there are more ads then the revenue is slightly more.
