Absolutely stunning! The thing I love about coin collecting is that even after collecting for nearly 10 years now, there's still new things I'm learning everyday from videos like yours!
The Spur Ryal design of the lion clutching the shield was probably the inspiration for Jody Clark's design of the Lion of England Queen's Beast coin. Little did I know that such a design had been done before.
I've always had an affinity for coin collecting. My father has passed a few old coins down to me,i.e., 1880 s mint Morgan, thrice cent and others. I've been stacking/collecting silver bullion but find it stale and have definitely been gearing toward the numismatic side of the spectrum.....it is for sure a whole new world but I love it
Coin connection is less than RM for new issues and usually less than buying from peers in short supply. Not for everyone at every time but often a good source
Steve, can I borrow you for an hour or so, I need to pick your brain! I’m so tired of holding on to worthless coins and praying they’ll magically turn me into a millionaire! Just tell me where I can find that ONE life changing coin, PLEASE! Lol thanks for the info... Great video!
A superb collection of coins, it's just a pity they are in Plastic Coffins! I absolutely hate 'slabbing', with their FANTASY 'grading'. Mint State this, Mint State that - what a load of rubbish!! I've been coin and banknote collecting since 1982, and NONE of my collection is 'slabbed', and NEVER will be. I've heard some people pay MORE to get their coin 'graded', than what the coin is actually worth - total madness! What happened to NORMAL grades like Extremely Fine, and Uncirculated?? All I hear these days, is rubbish like Extra Fine.

I'm speechless. A finer handful of beautiful coinage I have never had the pleasure to witness.
