Just did! :)
@@GypsyheartOneLoVE 🤗 Thanks so much!! -J
I'd like you to bring rme back a souvenir snow ball.
@@PlanetEarth3141 hmmmmm..... 😂 -J
I know you guys weren’t dog people but when a dog chooses you it speaks volumes about you as a person.
We will forever remember the moment she stole our chair....and then started to unfold her plan on our hearts. -J
Catahoulas were bred to herd cattle. So the fact that she's purebred makes sense, and the fact that you guys found her in Texas makes even more sense. They're great herders.
When Trinity first showed up all those months ago I thought she looked like a dog who had fairly recently had pups. With her DNA results it makes sense that somebody got her for breeding but for whatever reason didn't want her anymore. She knew what she was doing when she chose you.
Stealing the chair was just step 1 in her master plan. -J
I have watched a lot of RV living videos over the years and I have to say, I enjoy yours the most. You guys seem to keep it real where positivity is combined with reality. I like how you show variety in each video, not just one activity but rather, each video shows things from everyday chores, projects, information, and the area and activities of where you are staying. Also, it says a lot when you can laugh at yourselves. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.
Exactly right!
Kalyn read this to me as we were driving home tonight and it was such an encouragement. Thank you so so much. And it's such incredibly high praise, I don't think Kalyn and I ever imagined that someone would ever say "I enjoy yours the most" about our videos. 🥲
Laughing at ourselves comes pretty naturally - I think it's because we both come from families where humor was every day life AND because we are both keenly aware that we aren't close to perfect and never will be. -J
I know y’all can’t remember all responses, but I was the one that told y’all that when you named Trinity that my Trinity always perked up and her ears popped up every time you said the name, Trinity . My Trinity is a brindle Catahoula. Yea! Cousins 😂😂❤️🐾🐾❤️
That's so awesome! 🤩 -J
There's an insane amount of dogs dumped around Floresville. I ran across y'alls videos by accident when you found her. I cried and prayed you could give her a loving family environment. Thank you from Floresville. Your kindness changed lives.
We had at least 2 others roam through our area while we were there. It's been hard because you can't make a difference in every life - but you can make a difference in at least one.
Trinity has been an incredible blessing to our family. So many smiles from her every day - including today when I excitedly pointed out an eagle to Kalyn and Trin got excited doing some low "huffing" with eyes peeled outside knowing that she should be excited about something...but not sure what. She just wanted to be part of the fun 😁 -J
The finished decal project looks really good! You should definitely put the Open Roading logo on the front.
Thanks so much! -J
Trinity was a gift from God she needed you guys and you were available! Congratulations ❤
She has been an immense blessing! -J
I just realized I mainly watch your videos because I am a fan of Trinity and you all because you adopted her.
Haha! We are aware that Trinity has her own fan club and we are the supporting actors. 😂 -J
Trinity was a surprise! She's a great dog, she loves her people! Glad you're getting her spayed.
She is the best! No matter what the DNA said in the end we knew she was 100% ours. -J
Joseph is so funny and entertaining ... "American Safari ... you can see cows!" Good belly laugh
He likes to keep us laughing! 😂-K
You should definitely add your logo on the camper!
Man! No clean look votes! -J
Trinity is soooo cool. I would have cried for a week if you had not taken her in. She adopted you!
To be honest...Kalyn would have too. And now I personally can't imagine life without her....(although...if you follow us on Instagram you can see in tonights stories that...well...she's giving us a run for our money. 😂 If you don't have IG no worries... it will be fully featured in a video in a few weeks.) -J
Pure breed! Way to go Trinity!! Thank you guys for giving her the best life!
That second part is all that really matters in the end! -J
Yes, definitely Open Roading💕 and it looks great! Also he’s a trooper with even thinking about riding his bike back those 25 miles 😳🥴 I’m so glad he didn’t have to.
He never hesitates with things like that! -K
Definitely your logo on the front of your rv. Who would have guessed Trinity is a purebred? She is a beautiful girl, and I am 100% with you on getting her spayed.
I really expected a little blowback. Kinda happy there has been none. We'll see if that stays true after the next video when it actually gets done. 🙂 -J
Open roading on the front. It's your name and a good name for a camper. Hope the paint holds up. Wow for Trinity!
I am curious how long the paint will last. We are committing to putting a UV protectant on it every month (something we should have been doing all along) so I think that will help. We've also got a couple of extra cans so that we can repair chips and scratches. -J
Clearcoat helps protect against UV.
Oh my goodness!! Purebred!! She’s so sweet!!! 💕💕💕💕💕💕
Shocked! -J
Yes the logo on the front!!! Makes perfect sense that Trinity is a Catahoula! Awesome, they are nice dogs! I loved your reactions and the "speechlessness" when you saw the results! Hehe!
It was genuine! We were both actually quite looking forward to seeing like "40% this and 25% that." LOL 😂 -J
Your logo on the front, but add UA-cam underneath so people know where to find you. I noticed Timmy on Truck House Life has done that, and he has 400K+ subscribers. Trinity’s breed is a great breed. Herders and very loyal. A favorite of cowboys. What a blessing for you all and her!
She's been an incredible addition to the family! -J
Ok to start awesome news about Trinity and so glad you guys kept her .She looks so happy with you and vice versa . On the camper it's looking good and yes put "Open Roading" on the front . You 2 have become my favorites and always look forward to watching your videos . Keep up the good work .
So so kind. Thank you! -J
Gooseneck was amazing. Really makes me want to go to Utah. We’ve never been there. So cool about Trinity. No one expects an abandoned dog to be a 100% breed. And oh yes, absolutely, Open Roading on the front of the RV
Yeah - We did not see that coming at all! -J
If you guys are looking for new reliant water jugs, stop in at Canadian Tire once you cross the border. We have them here!
We made the newbie mistake of leaving them in the back of our truck, empty, not tied down. They are still probably somewhere in a ditch in Northern Ontario from 3 years ago. 😅
It’s funny - in our truck they are fine empty…until we travel with the RV. Something about the wind stream sucks them right out. 😂 -J
Love that Trinity continues to keep y’all on your toes! What a wild reveal! 🤯🤩 Also, Joseph, your George Cantanza “innocent mistake” edit had me LLOLing. (Literally LOLing.) 😂😂😂 You know I appreciate good comedic timing!
Totally innocent. 😇 😂 -J
Oh my goodness your decals turned out great. I vote for open roading on the Front. I also loved Moab more than Sedona. I think the Colorado river and the red rocks made it so special.
The more I think about it the more I think I'm on team Moab as well. -J
Absolutely do the Open Roading logo on the front!
So so many yes votes! -J
That’s it, I don’t think I can continue to follow people that do not drink coffee.😂😂😂 …….love you guys, keep sharing.
I knew we were treading on thin ice with that revelation. ☕️ 😂 -J
Trinity is sooooo cute! I think she was possibly dumped bc she had puppies and the "abusers" didn't need her anymore :( But now she has her loving forever home!!
Yeah. We are pretty sure she was dumped based on circumstances. -J
Congrats on the decal. Looks amazing. My brother-in-law loves catahoula’s. He’s always singing the praises of the bred and how they are smart, loyal and very protective but gentle. Sounds like you were blessed with the perfect dog. Great video and glad the truck didn’t cost too much and was easily fixed. Can’t wait to see your next adventures.
Nice video. I told you Trinity was 100% Good Dog.
We stayed just north of Montecello at Wind Whistle campground. So much to do and see out there. Thank you for sharing, Safe Travels.
So much to do! Just can't fill propane at the gas station in town. 😂 (sorry...I'm not bitter) -J
I lived in the southwest, and you could literally see the dust storms coming from 50 miles away. Also, your cars would get the paint sand blasted off.
Ug! Sand storms sound just awful and I don't think we've experienced a bad one! -J
Hi guys, my wife Leanne and I just found your channel and love it. Your down to earth nature and your honesty has sucked us in good n proper. We’re also dog lovers and got our guesses in about Trinity just before the reveal. We had agreed on mostly Labor with some Rottweiler to explain the colour. We’ve never heard of the breed that she actually is. We are so glad that she has a real home with genuine love, she deserves it. We have a class B rv and enjoy getting out in our huge beautiful country and, like America, Australia has a lot to see.
Cheers from the land down under, Stuart 🇦🇺.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! We are hoping, someday, to come visit Australia and go deeper than just the main cities on the coast. You're right there is so so much to explore!
Being Americans we will probably freak out at every bug and animal thinking it's going to kill us....but it would be fun all the same! 😁 Maybe 2028 for the eclipse! -J
I found you guys about the time you found trinity. I am a dog person, and have 3 on the road full time. 2 of mine are rescues, my big dog is 13 and still going strong. I decided to follow you when you decided to keep her. ❤
Thanks for sticking around and giving us a chance! We hope you continue to find joy in the channel - but I'm sure we'll never bring you as much joy as Trinity has to our lives. It's just not possible. -J
Great parks! The RV paint job turned out fantastic! A decal of your logo on the front would look great, if you are ok with giving up your anonymity on the road! We're happy you got a solid deal on the starter! Such a surprise about Trinity's results! I never ever heard of that breed! The fact that she might have been abused or abandoned makes us even happier that she found your love! I'm sure she never had he own couch 🛋 before, either! We really enjoyed this week's video! 😀
If you look early on in the video you'll see a "nice" 3" scar she has on her side. 😞 -J
New RV's are horribly constructed these days! I have watched so many horror story videos on purchases of RV's into the hundreds of thousands and they are falling apart! Stick with your 05 as long as you can! The inside is also beautiful! 🙌🙌🙌
That wind was BRUTAL. We drove up from horseshoe and through monument valley in that. Also I had no idea you guys were doing so much work down there. Quiet workers :) Enjoy Moab! We were there in 2019 on our motorcycle and loved it. We also managed to get into arches for free since we accidentally woke up super early when we were there 😁
Glad we didn't bother you! We had to use the generator for the heat gun 😭 but I was hoping everything was far apart enough to not be a bother. -J
Yep! Open road logo on the front. Great paint job too!
Thank you! -J
Yes to the logo on the front, and 🎉 on Trinity’s results, but we all know no matter what she’s 100% Texan!!
We won't know that for sure until we ask her how to pronounce HEB. 😁 -J
@@OpenRoading ❤️❤️❤️
I grew up in Utah near Bryce Canyon. It’s a beautiful State. I now live in AZ. Hottest place ever. Thanks for sharing your stories and mostly adopting Trinity.
When we visited Zion and Bryce back to back I was so surprised at how much colder Bryce was. Had no idea it was so much higher in elevation! -J
Crazy how much changes in a decade.
Accidentally stumbled upon gooseneck about a decade ago when it was just a dirt lot, a few picnic tables, and maybe a pit toilet?
Spent a few hours there, it was the beginning of June and only saw two other cars of people.
Wasn’t yet a state park and they weren’t charging people… if I had to guess, the same thing is coming for the valley of the gods. Surprised it’s not some form of paid to enter park…
Get out and see them pretty places before it costs money to see!!!
Yes - Things are always in a state of fluctuation in one direction or another. -J
Trinity is adorable ❤
So close!!! A photo finish for the first comment award… 🥈
I love Trinity -- but Cody is so adorable too! Sorry about the truck trouble. The paint job came out great!
I love videos like this with lots of different stuff. Thank you!
No worries! Car trouble is just a fact of life! Thanks for stopping by and being so positive! -J
Bet no one guessed that! I'm sure the mechanic told you it was the bending spring on your starter. When you turn the key on it pushes your starter gear forward an inch to engage the flywheel gear attached to the crank on your engine. The whirl you hear is the starter gear just spinning freely because the spring is broke. Beautiful drone shots! Great episode!
Bendix spring..(auto correct!)
Thanks so much! Funny enough I didn't ask the mechanic. I just called them and said I needed a new starter. 😂
We actually had 2 or 3 people guess Catahoula! At first I thought it was just 1 but as I've searched through I found a couple more! -J
Soooo....Windy all the time. Got it. LOL And YES to your Open Roading logo on the front cap
According to the propane guy! -J
I would say your logo. If you’re not worried about stalkers. 😂
A valid concern. 👀 The girls just never leave me alone. -J
Love the decal project! Looks Great! I think your decal Open Roading would look Awesome on the front of your rig.
I agree - I think it would look cool! Still deciding if we're going to do it or not. -J
lo-go lo-go lo-go lo-go!!! The paint looks great!
Thanks so much! -J
I’ve heard of catahoula. My face still looked like yours.😂 I’m so glad for her that you kept her. We all love a Cinderella story. I bet she’s one of the best things that happens to your channel. After all,a bunch of us are just here for Frank😬or Cruze,or Osso ,or…😜🐶❤🚐
haha! She's one of the best things that's happened to us. She's brought us so much joy in our day to day. -J
Wow! She's extremely calm for a Catahoula. Beautiful girl! ❤
As for favorite Southwest destination.....Moab! 😊 and.....Open Roading decal on the front of RV would be pretty cool
That is the ONE thing about her that is different from her breeds "specs" (is that what they are called?)
She LOVES running, hiking, jumping, etc. but she is also just as happy to spend the entire day on the couch. -J
Yaayyyy Trinity! Grats on her heritage. Again, thank you for not only rescuing her but adopting her.
She's 100% our girl no matter what the DNA said. 😁 -J
Yea for the finish painting!!! Thanks for sharing. Safe Travels. I vote for Open Roading on the nose.
Only took us 2 months of driving around with "2 face" 😂 -J
We stayed at the Valley of the Gods B&B north of Mexican Hat and loved it. Also went through Zion and Bryce while we were in Southern Utah. Loved the scenery there. And yes, add the logo to the front!
Southern Utah is amazing! -J
You should definitely put the Open Roading logo on the front !😊
Man... 150-0 at this point I think -J
I love the paint it looks so nice. As much as you are probably hoping everyone says leave the front white, I think it would look amazing with your logo on the front.
LOL! How did you know!
The hurdles I have to do research on is whether or not it will raise our insurance. There's a lot of info out there that it does. But I haven't done any serious looking into it.
The other is whether or not we want to be a billboard EVERYWHERE we go. -J
The sandstorm reminds me of home (West Texas) but I don't miss them at all. The RV looks great! I vote for the logo on the front if budget allows. I was literally backing up in my office chair when you were on the edge of the canyon in Goosenecks State Park. Yikes! Loved seeing it and Valley of the Gods especially with the drone views! But the best part was Trinity's results. Your faces!! 😂It has fueled our fire to get our new granddog's DNA done. She looks exactly like a black mouth cur. But we love her no matter what she is.
Oh I'm familiar with your sand storms in west Texas... ua-cam.com/video/tmza9iw1zso/v-deo.htmlsi=fqaziCkFNpqYCijL
Ya'll don't play around with your wind there! 😁
With the DNA I recommend not submitting a photo. It just helps your peace of mind when the results come back if the DNA is describing your dog and they never had a photo. 🙂 That's what we did and we had a handful of comments telling us we couldn't trust the results and I was like "Well....the DNA results described her including tan points and colors of fur....so.... I'm pretty confident they are pretty close!" -J
Put your logo on the front! Your camper didn't turn over in the wind because you have the heavy duty high quality that Jayco was in that era of camper. Your camper is of really good quality and is doing good work for you guys. Great video! Ya'll keep getting better and better.
Yeah! She's gone through some heavy duty winds in Texas! She's a beast for sure!
Thanks for the compliments!! -J
Put your logo on it!!
It will only take 3 months more🤩🤩🤣💞
BHAHAHAHAHAHA! Tell me you are a huge fan of the channel without telling me. 😂
We're pretty fond of her traits too! I think she's a little less on the energy scale than your typical Catahoula but that works for us. But man, when we go hiking she LOVES exploring. -J
@@OpenRoading I adopted mine when she was 6.5 months old. I threatened to eat her for the next 3.5 months if she couldn’t reel it in🤣🤣
Now, at 10 years old she is quite a bit calmer. When hiking she will still go for good running but she doesn’t run non stop for 12 hours a day anymore.🙌🙌
@@OpenRoading 😂😂
In seriousness, it really appreciate your tutorials on the decal replacement because I just picked up a new to me class C and need to replace the cracked decals. Thanks to you all I actually think it’s reasonable to take the project on AND I know it will save a ton of money too!!
I also have to address some oxidation 🤔
@@Eph1-4 If she had that sort of energy i'm not sure we could have adopted her! She's been so perfect for our situation! -J
It looks so good! Your logo would look fantastic! :)
Thank you for your vote!! Everyone else seems to be leaning that direction too. ☺️-K
Save money buy a milk maker for about $70 you can make fresh almond milk as needed, then make your own yogurt. Tastes better for a fraction of the cost. Love how Trinity is the couch queen
We have limited space so we don't have many single use kitchen appliances... so while I love the idea - I think we're gonna have to stay on the buying milk bandwagon.
Trinity own this RV at this point. 😂 -J
I’m new to your channel, but I’m very impressed with the quality of the content and editing. I must admit, your decision to adopt Trinity motivated me to subscribe and binge watch your videos. I predict you will surpass all other RVer UA-cam channels. May the odds be ever in your favor!
Wow! High praise. Thank you! (🫡 Does the 2 fingered Katniss Salute)
I'll simply be happy if we can earn enough income to retire someday. We've lived the entrepreneur life which has a high ceiling...but a verrrrrrrry low floor. LOL But we wouldn't trade it for the world. -J
It is beautiful! You must put the logo on it! Yes.
Wow, I have a fear of heights and my body immediately pulled back from the edge, your photography was so good. And you made me chuckle at your pronunciation of butte which you quickly corrected. It reminded me of a story my sister told me. She was working in a phone job and had to verify sales that were made. She would call the customers back. She called a gentleman in Montana up and asking him if he pronounced his city but or but-A.
Gorgeous shots. Wow. What a blessing to see all of that and to let us live vicariously through you. Thank you! What a surprise for you about Trinity. Well we knew she had a pure heart.
But or But-a 😂😂😂 So close....and yet so far. 😂
Not sure how "honest" of a mistake it was though on my part. 😂 More trying to get a reaction from Kalyn. lol.
So I have to ask - I worked with a Teddy Byrne in Fort Myers FL back in 2014. It would be a small world if he was related to you. -J
@@OpenRoading don’t know. His brother Bill lives in St. Pete. His son’s name is Josh. The odd thing is that my husband’s family lived far away from their families and they never got to know any of them. Unlike me where all my family was in the same general area in Iowa, Missouri, Illinois. All within 100 miles or less. So my gut feeling is he probably has cousins floating around that he doesn’t know about. Me, I’m in touch with all my first cousins and several first cousins once removed and second cousins. So odd for me when others aren’t.
@@ernestinebyrne9912 Figured it was worth an ask! 🙂 Side note: I have a grand total of 2 cousins. 😂 -J
Your logo would look awesome!!!
I do agree that it would look awesome! -J
Y'all did a great job painting the accent stripes! They should last you well. The Open Roading logo is a must on the nose cone! Great finds on the two adventures in this episode, we have pin dropped them both!
Your faces were in complete disbelief when you read Trinity's DNA results, thank you both for keeping it real!! See ya out somewhere!
Thanks so much!! -J
Of course you put your logo on your home. Pure Bread! Scooooore!!!!!! She’s the perfect hound for you.
No matter what her DNA results came out as we knew she was right for us. It's funny...there are a couple of specs where she's slightly different than the "normal" for the breed and they are things that make her perfect for us. 🤗 -J
Definitely go with the open roading👍👍
We could be a driving billboard! -J
Your drone footage was spectacular!! AMAZING views!!
You both did a beautiful job on the painting of the "decals". I vote for the Open Road sign on the front of the RV.
I was super shocked that Trinity is a catahoula. I had a merle catahoula, and I was surprised to see them in the Rot coloration.
They have a pretty strong hunting instinct.
You are going to be so happy when she is spayed. No spotting in the house and no fear of letting her be around male dogs. Win, win!
It's funny...We see the hunting instinct...but pretty much only with birds. Birds trigger something in her but so far she's been amazing with Cody. We of course are going to keep our eyes on that and continue to work with her but so far I do think for a Catahoula she is pretty chill. (Which I am eternally grateful for!) -J
@OpenRoading Some hunting breeds don't have a strong urge to hunt. Probably why she was dumped. But a win for you guys and for her.
She just wants to continue to live as a princess and continue to rule the couch.
Oh wow! Catahoula! I didn’t see that coming and I’m usually super good at guessing mixes but I think I’ve only seen the merle colors on Catahoula’s and had no idea they came in a black tri type color. She’s an absolutely wonderful dog, I’ll say that for her. I watch lots of UA-cam videos on RV life and yours are my favorite by far. I always look forward to your new posts. Oh and as far as the Open Roading logo, I vote for putting it on the front of the RV. I think the logo is super classy. One last thing, great drone work Joseph! And I say pooh on anywhere that won’t let you use your drone 😂 (just kidding).
@@GypsyheartOneLoVE Reading this as she lays next to me on the couch....snoring and twitching away in blissful dreamland. -J
@@laurataylor999 Totally off guard here too. 😂
As to drone rules - I'M WITH YOU! lol. If I had my way as long as you operate them safely you should be able to do so. HOWEVER I do my absolute best not to be safe and fly within the rules and I go out of my way not to annoy people.
In next weeks video we were at an arch near Moab that is not in a drone free zone and some people were hiking up - heard the drone and I heard one complain to the other about the drone noise - so... I quickly and quietly landed it so they could enjoy their time at the arch. -J
We went to Sedona for the day. We were camping at a state park near by, Very beautiful. Be watchful of the incognito timeshare ploys to get you a small discount on off roading in exchange for 4 to 6 hour timeshare presentation 😮
Yeah...Not interested in sitting through a speech for anything. 😁 I think I've gotten to the age where when I realize what's happening I have no issue just walking away. -J
Catalogue is a very protective dog. They pick their humans and have lots of separation anxiety. Socializing them is your best defense. She's more app to tree a stranger not literally but run away from you all than to bite. They are not supposed do well with other dogs. I have one with 2 other large pups and fostered countless puppies Yorkers you name it. Extremely intelligent and loyal. I knew before you read. Lot ppl never heard the breed. Lot ppl have them and like you think they have a mix of a rottie. They don't djo well in shelters because their need be with their ppl.
Thanks for the info! I think Trin is an outlier on a lot of the typical Catahoula breed. She certainly is loyal but she doesn't seem to deal with anxiety. She is always happy to see us when we get home but doesn't whine if we leave and doesn't tear anything apart while we are gone. Often she is sleeping when we arrive home. She did tear up some napkins once but we left the unopened packages on the foor... whoops. lol.
We'll see with time but she's been amazing for us! -J
Logo for sure!!
Thanks for your vote! -J
That wind statement was hilarious 😂 Only 2ce a year for 6 months 🤣
Right?! 😂 made me lol. -J
You guys got puppy lucky! We adopted/rescued a Catahula named Beau who lived a wonderful long life, he was super smart, very loyal and a treasured best friend. Plus, Trinity chose you, how great is that?
There's not much greater. She's pretty special! -J
Logo on the RV
Ya'll loving the logo! I'm actually a little surprised at no votes for the "clean" front. -J
I would recommend not putting your logo on the front because then it'll be considered a business and if you get into an accident your insurance could go up because I didn't say it was a business vehicle
We'll just take it off before the insurance adjuster comes. 😂 (I kid I kid). I've heard about that stuff. It's very interesting the loopholes insurance companies will jump through. -J
Never heard of Trinity’s breed before! So cool! Love Valley of the Gods so happy you completed the full road! The RV looks so great!
Thanks so much! Yeah, we were in the dark on that breed too! Been doing a lot of research! -J
Trinity is such a cute dog. You two are so lucky to have found her. What a perfect addition to your family. Having her break out of the screen door to be with you, just shows how much she has bonded with you and can’t bear to be a part from you.
We are indeed lucky to have her be part of the family! She's full of surprises. -J
Logo on the Rv
So many yes votes! -J
Trinity is Catahoula Royalty. Where’s her crown? Maybe you should put her photo on the front of the RV? She’s like Cleopatra on her barge (RV) and you are merely her slaves whose duty it is to RV her around the globe! 😂🐶❤️
I'm sure she'll be asking for her crown soon! And also...we already pick up her poop - what more could she want out of us. 😂 -J
Wow what a shocker. Trinity, Catahoula. I believe if I recall, right, I did guess that she may have some sort of hound in her lol. Well, it doesn’t matter because she’s a sweetheart no matter what. The RV looks gorgeous with the new stripes. Y’all did an awesome job.❤
COMPLETE shocker. And I do think you said she had some hound! -J
We feel like we found a treasure when we discovered your channel. We look forward to all your episodes! One small observation when you were leaving Gooseneck State Park (I might be mistaken) as you backed out of the parking spot it seems like you went into drive while still rolling backwards. I cringe when I see that because it’s bad for the transmission eventually. My wife did that to my car yesterday and I’m thinking of gently letting her know. And lastly my sister and brother in law stopped at Gooseneck and are staying at Devil Dog near Monument Valley
Thanks so much for the kind words and the driving tip. 🙂 -J
Open Roading logo.
Vote tallied! -J
Love your dog! Interesting DNA results too. So glad she doesn’t have to have more litters.
She's officially done with litters! -J
You popped up on my feed and it's Trinity for the win! She appeared to be such a great dog and I was praying you two would give her a chance. We have a house bunny too so I understood your concerns. I pray things continue well with your "blended" family and your channel. 🐇
Thanks so much! Trinity has been an awesome addition to the family. I'm not sure Cody will ever get used to her licking his face... 😂 but they get along well. -J
Unfortunately, Thrin was probably dumped because she was no longer useful-She has probably already had several litters in the mill -we adopted a 2 year old chihuahua used in a puppy mill for breeding-He is a male and the mill was raided Our dog was feral-he was locked in a dirty cage for two years-5 years on and he is doing better and less feral -Thank goodness you found Trinity -
We have been to the area you are in and we loved it -We stayed at the KOA in Monument Valley-We went to Goose Neck, Mexican Hat, Valley of the Gods it was wonderful ⭐️🚌🇺🇸☀️🌵
It really is such a beautiful area!!
I'm quite convinced that she was a mill dog. I could be wrong - I have been many times before - but it would take a bit to prove otherwise for me.
Whether or not she is - puppy mills are pretty close to "the worst" when it comes to dogs. 😭 I'm glad you shared your story but also heart broken at the same time. -J
Sedona I grew up in Arizona, but sadona isn't the same. When I was a kid we didn't have a lot of tourism. It was beautiful.
It is such a hard thing...to share beauty and also fear it getting trampled over. -J
“American Safari” - you guys probably have the best RV channel. And, wow! Trinity is royalty!
So so kind of you. I was pretty proud of that American Safari observation. 😂 -J
Yes Trinity! The key to your continued success. I wish I could meet her IRL. I was reading about Catahoula’s, Trinity has the fancy eyes.
Love her eyes! -J
Wow. Yes, it will be good for her. Trinity is so cute.
She really is! -J
You did a wonderful job painting the stripes on your trailer. It looks so nice! My vote is put your logo on the front of your trailer❤
Thank you and your vote has been noted! 😁 -J
Put your logo on your home! It’s a nice clean logo. Maybe you can even glitter up the location marker, like those cool T-shirts!
Hahaha! I'll have to see what Courtney and Megan can do! -J
We were in that area last year and you are right, Valley of the Gods and Monument Valley have awful roads but are sure beautiful.
We drove through Valley of the Gods from the other direction and if you head North at the West exit (the way you entered) you can drive up the Moki Dugway.
It’s a beautiful switchback up the hill with great views. You can then turn around and come down and continue your route. Hope you didn’t miss it.
Great video and enjoy Moab.
We missed it...and we've kicked ourselves every day since. lol -J
Should Totally do Open Roading on the front!!!!!
It looks AMAZING!!!!!
Thanks so much! -J
The Open Reading logo would look great on the front. Definitely needs something there.
Not a fan of the naked RV? 😁 -J
You guys had me at tTrinity! Love your content and style. Catahoula is a wonderful, smart, sensible large dog breed. I'm so happy you all found one another. Safe travels!
Trinity has won so many hearts. ❤️ -J
Love the paint job y’all did on the camper it looks great, I think y’all should put your decal on the front of your camper. Keep posting adventures and can’t wait to see y’all in Alaska.
Thanks so much! We're hoping they last!! -J
Trinity is such a luck pup, regardless of her breed! ❤
Not as lucky as we are to have her. So much joy brought to the fam! -J
Definitely put your logo on the front with the YT play button logo. You will get more views from curious passerbys & hopefully more followers. Because how can they not love your channel! And….so glad you have Trinity now!
The benefit to the logo - driving billboard wherever we go.
The con to the logo - driving billboard wherever we go... 😂 -J
@@OpenRoading Very True! Can’t hide with that billboard. 😬
Side note - headed to Tin Valley in BBNP this week thanks to your videos. 💜
@@karawhitehouse1223 Soo cool! Please tell Ronda we say hello! -J
Put the logo on the front! It will be the finishing touch. Great job on the sides! looks great!!!!
Thank so much! -J
You absolutely should put something on the front. Your logo would be cool (along with maybe a QR code that leads here).
I don’t know if I want oncoming traffic trying to scan a giant QR code!! 😁😁 -J
I went through a dust storm in upper Texas for a bit, they were spread out a bit so it wasn't as bad as what you went through. But it was a bit different on my motorcycle lol. If you head for colorado, might want to hit up Mount Evans if you're in the area, similar to Pikes Peak but without the tourist stuff, but there is a phone number you need to call in advance and set an arrival time. Best experience I've had on my bike, even going back down in the rain!
Oh man! Dust storm on a motorcycle....I think I'd be done. lol.
Mount Evans! Noted - thank you! -J
