9:40 your villagers can take everything they need from the resources and food storage, you don’t have to put it in workstations manually
Came here to say this!!
Yeah, this was embarrassing to watch.
This is a huge time saver ty ty
I haven't played the game in a a few months, but from what I remember, you never needed to manage the inventory of workplaces and I've played since long before Oxbow existed. The workers did take resources from the general and food storages. Maybe that changed, but I kind of doubt it, because people would complain. I can't remember a single building where the workers didn't use general storages. Sure, you can put the resources into the individual buildings, but it's not needed. In fact I would sometimes purposefully take things out of the general storage into my own chests to make sure that the workers don't use all of it (like linen thread for example).
For me, they take most resources from the general storage, but not tools, and the farming sheds in particular will not work unless i have the seed and fertilizer they need in the farm shed storage, even if i have a bunch in the general storage. But most often i run into tool issues, where i need to bring fishing spears to the fishing hut, or bags and hoes to the farming shed, etc.
My villagers are smarter than yours. They take the tools they need from the general storage all the time. I just played a bit this morning.
@@Dare_To_Game Hmm, interesting. I've never had that problem, even with tools. I really never put anything into individual buildings unless I personally work in those building, just so I don't have to run all the way to general storages. The only time I had problems with people working was when I accidentally put things into the wrong storage (seeds into food storage for example) or when I haven't assigned jobs properly - I did have a problem with farmers, but that was because it was because I rotated some of the fields, so it was a little finicky. They never complained about not having tools or materials if there were some in the general storage.
Maybe it's some new bug, but I honestly think the way it's supposed to work and the way I see it work for most people is that the villagers have access to general storage.
"buliding is the easy part".. meanwhile me sitting alone in my single tiny cabin strugging to earn enough coin to survive and grow a tiny vege patch lol
It takes time to get the ball rolling, that's for sure. But you kind of have to over extend yourself to get to the point of sustainability.
Steal bags, sells bags at different town 🤭 and flax=bags
Never wanted video games to imitate this part of real life.
@@Dare_To_Game thanks looking forward to jumping into latest update to give another go
Steal everything. The penalty is minimal and inconsequential
I also named my village Skalitz lol it’s cool to see others with the same idea
Makes sense, we are clearly fellows of quality and like mind.
I love the layout of your town. Looks very organic, and medieval.
Thank you! What happened was, i found a decent spot and built my house, and i didn't really specifically plan to build a village there, but it sort of happened. I moved very few buildings to make the layout work. That made it feel pretty organic, because it was.
@@Dare_To_Game Are your storage buildings too full? The only time my villagers can't get their tools and resources etc from the storage is when my storage buildings are too full and that causes a bottleneck. Try removing a few k of stuff out of storage and then empty the chests in the crafting buildings etc and put them in storage and see if that helps.
This is very cool, i checked out this game over a year ago and don't really remember much besides hunting. I got it recently on game pass so it will be interesting to see all the additions. Great video breaking down everything
Thank you very much. I am glad you enjoyed it. The game has only gotten so much better over time.
Skalitz😎
You know it.
I would love to see a video showing all the armor / outfits in the game. Thatd be nice.
That is a great idea for a video! I'll think about it!
The game has gotten so much better, it's not even funny. Most early access titles release in a horrible state and then never really improve. Medieval Dynasty however, released in a very fun and playable state, and then just got better and better.
I agree 100%. That's why Medieval Dynasty is one of the few "early access" titles that i've ever actually recommended.
I love this game, and would love to see more coverage for it from you.
I am also a big fan of the game. I saw they just announced Viking Dynasty. I hope it's better than Wild West Dynasty, because that game sucked.
Would appreciate the game more if you could build more substantial fortifications. I like the walls and gates and stuff, but i want battlements, moats, gatehouses, drawbridges, and towers, lol.
I agree. I was very excited when I saw the walls and battlements of the main city in the Oxbow region, and fairly disappointed when I realized I could not build walls like that.
I remember seeing you play this game. It feels so long ago.
Well, it was a long time ago. Several years at least. Time sure does fly.
That bandit camp at the end you were showing. I haven't had any bandits respawn for at least 3 in game years now. So I definitely don't think they appear every year as you say
One time I went back to see and the bandits were still dead and I was able to loot them again 🤔 every year would be nice tho :(
@TheSecretPod I know yeah, just for their weapons and clothing to sell on
I need these guides and I’m interested in the changes.
I have a so much to learn.
Have you experienced coop and if so what is your opinion? I am going to get the game anyway but am wondering if I should pursue coop with friends or not as it looks like that could be great here
Co op is awesome, I play it with my gf, and right now, we are building a city, CO op is a lot of fun. You don't feel restricted because you have someone with you. If anything, it's easier you both can work things out.
@cyberdevil7518 thanks for the reply/info!
It’d say it’s the same vibe but just a tinyyyy bit less of a grind at first bc there’s more than one person, but it’s still a grind either way
I have heard there are static bandit camps in oxbow. Do you know how many and where they are? I do not want to build a settlement and accidentally be near the static camp. I'm ok with the random spawning ones that disappear after a season.
The only static camp i am sure of is the big one at the top of the map. I have not run into them consistent enough to determine which were seasonal and which were static. I often times run into bandits in the wrecked buildings around them map.
I enjoy any game where i can spend a majority of my time farming.
Well, i've got great news for you. I find, especially once i get far enough into the game, that i spend most of my time farming. I do five day seasons, so i spend the first day or two questing, and then the rest of the season is farming.
Algorithmic comment applied. Because it's so good.
Needs at least seven words to count.
@@dzejrid is that true? I did not know that, lol
@@DTGProductions451 supposedly. This is YT. Nobody knows how it really works and they are not transparent about anything.
Typical youtube. It would make sense. It always seems like they are trying to nullify individual fan support, so people who comment, specifically to be helpful are ignored by the algorithm.
They can grab fertilizer from the storage
I was more speaking about tools and things like seeds. Plus i rean into an issue where my farm workers stopped working because there was no fertilizer in the farm shed, even though there was some in storage.
The villagers can take anything they need directly from the storage, including tools and seeds, I literally don’t have anything in any of my work stations and it works fine

Hello Could you please share you Save Game ? It Looks great
Did they ever fix the "breathing" motion (especially noticed when standing still). I had bought the game when it first came out in early access, but that particular thing gave me motion sickness, so I refunded.
I just realised why I am always so tired.
Bandits are irregular, spawning at random.
I wish they would reskin the world. Needs more horse poo, flies buzzing around, the people need to be less clean, weeds and rough terrain needs to be messy looking. The world needs to look like it stinks! Maybe in a future patch
