They really do TRY to make the MREs okay, but there's only so much you can do. They even do things like throw in Combos or other snacks.
We got pallets of these in Iraq. Cold weather MRE's in friggin 100 degree Iraq weather. No one had any good way to boil water to make these edible. I remember trying to add lukewarm water in these sitting on a cot in the middle of the desert and having to each crunch freeze dried food. Memories....
what magics he use? i cannot stop watching these videos!
I remember those cookies. Yes! They did taste like the old school McDonald's cookies.
This meal warmed up with boiling water from a jet boil was a morale boost when I was in a patrol base on the side of a mountain in Bridgeport CA with the temperature being about -5 degrees. I also remember spending thanksgiving in the field in Norway and cracking the Turkey Tetrazinni for my holiday dinner. Good times lol
Hey Steve.
I love your videos!
I like to watch them especially before dinner. Hehehe
Congratulations on being more and more close to the 1 million subscribers.

Hey thanks so much Ivonaldo!
That is the perfect time to watch - it will boost your appetite for food (provided the review is of something edible).
And I couldn't have done it without you and the rest of you guys here. Thank you again.
And greetings back from Sunny Florida

Also Steve: *continues to drink all of said beverage*
Nice.
Steve is here for all of us, and never quits.
I mean. Why be wasteful? Lol
I suffer from insomnia and these is the best thing to fall asleep to. Thanks Steve.
"Bills Brew? It's just as good as Coffee Instant Type II."
High praise!
The Mountain House granola is god-tier in the field. I'd do questionable things in exchange for it.
Steve ate bread from the last supper and turned water into coffee instant type 2.
It’s amazing how well he makes this food sound. Steve is the type of guy who could sell you ocean front property in Wyoming.
Patriotic sugar cookies lol. Wow they're even star spangled.
Captain America Approves
I'm strangely becoming addicted to these videos...
The same thing happened to me two years ago. All it takes is one video to get you hooked.
I think my favorite hobby nowadays is saying "nice" in unison with Steve.
