I just want to say Thank you Robin Williams, I was a 6 year old boy when my family moved from Pakistan to Long Island New York, I had no friends, spoke very little English and was bullied for the first 6 months of being here, I hated it here, I missed my grandparents, my aunts and uncles all my cousins and friends back in Pakistan I dreaded going to school everyday but one thing that I could look forward to every single day was coming home and watching you Robin, I watched jumanji, mrs.doubtfire, hook so much I memorized them, your movies taught me english, you were my first friend and because of you I was able to finally talk to my cousins here, the kids at school and finally was able to be happy. When you died I cried I was a 24 year old man and I cried like a little child because I felt like I lost one of my best friends and I never even met you or you had no idea of my existence and yet it felt as though I lost someone in my family. I just wanted to say thank you for everything you gave me Robin and I still miss you to this day, I watch your movies all year every year since I was a child and will continue to keep watching them. I miss you so much and will always love you, I hope you’re up in heaven with my dad and I hope he let you know how much you meant to a six year old boy who used to feel so alone some days but as long as I could watch you on tv I always felt like I had a friend. Forever and always your fan.
You are not the only one that has had a rough beginning. Let your trauma make you stronger ( like a sci Fi monster) the more that is thrown at you the stronger you get. ❤️
This made me cry, as a mother of a six-year-old boy. What a companion you found in Robin. In shaa’Allah you’ll meet each other in Jannah, along with the rest of your dear ones. I’m so happy you found your way through.
I never met Robin Williams, but watching all of his movies it makes you feel like you know him. He's like the really fun Uncle everyone wants or has. Of all the actors that have passed away over the years I really miss Robin Williams. There will never be another quite like him.
Look, if you roll a 5 or an 8 when playing any game with dice as the key to how many spaces to move, it still won't bring Robin Williams back. He took his own life in 2014 so not even dice can bring him back. RIP dear Robin.
@@CentipedesAnimeStuff you gotta learn to separate the works of fiction from their authors. Many great works of art were made by terrible people and we can still admire the work without admiring the person who made them.
This audiobook was produced for "rabbit ears radio", which was produced by PRI in the 1990s and aired on a lot of NPR stations. Robin narrated two other stories for them - "Pecos Bill" and "The Fool and the Flying Ship".
I regret that all those overblown movies have made most people forget there WAS a book. And that's a shame because none of the movies have gotten the book right. The book had an emphasis on fun and humor, with some chills and thrills underneath. The '95 movie was an all-out horror show, overloaded with mayhem, monsters and destruction, and not even the kids looked like they were having fun.
Although on the one hand, it's sad that Robin Williams hung himself I understand the reason he did it is because he knew he had incurable dementia so I understand why he did it, he didn't want to lose himself in that awful disease look at it from his point of view. even if he hadn't done it he wouldn't be the same anymore.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was such a wonderful movie that when we go to the store again at some point i will buy it with my own money and keep it and when I head to college it will come along with me my favorite character was Martha a.k.a. Ruby Roundhouse, I also enjoyed Spencer a.k.a. An older BraveStone, Fridge a.k.a Franklin "Mouse" Finbar, and Bethany a.k.a. Sheldon/ "Shelly" Oberon the actors are Karen Gill an as Martha Kaply , Kevin Hart as Anthony 'Fridge" Johnson/ Franklin "Mouse" Finbar, Dwayne Johnson as Spencer Giplin , Madison Iseman as Bethany Walker and stars Nick Jonas as Alex Vree ke a.k.a. Jefferson "Seaplane" Mcdonough
That’s how it starts I thought it started with Allan and other boy digging up the jumanji box and peter saying calab it’s after me caliber don’t worry it’s just a pack of wolfs run run! Allen what if someone picks up the game god be sorry on their souls “something like that”
I do love the movie and the book. But even in the book, the kids are not having fun as well. Because when they played the game, dangers come out of it. Do you think this is fun. It is really scary if it happened on real life.

This had to be fun to watch, not only Robin reading, but how they did the sound effects.
It’s still hard for me to accept the fact that Robin Williams is gone, but at least he left us with wonderful memories that will live on forever.

Has anyone rolled a 5 or 8 yet? I need Robin Williams back 😢
Hey It's only been 10 years since he left. It took 26 years to get Alan out. Just wait another 16 years! :) PS just kidding! RIP Robin Williams.
