I applied for 7 scholarships at the school you mentioned.. more than 5 paragraphs...I got 2, each for $1000.00 and for their nursing program that may cost more it's a big help but you have to find the rest of the money on your own. Thankful for what I got so props to my school
Thanks for this video! Been looking for more info getting in to WGU at least will help me with my studies. Im not on low income but Im always up to something that will still be on the budget. Learning a lot with your videos keep it up!
So glad & thanks for watching! ☺️ You don’t need to be low income for scholarships though, there are grants for that sort of thing - lots of scholarships are based on merit & allow you to save for other stuff. Just in case you’re looking to fund your own business or something 😉
Thank you! Your channel is very helpful with my decision to go back to school. WGU seems like a great choice only been hearing good things. This video is just what I was looking for as I am trying to find a way to pay.
Thank you SO MUCH! Your video is a GOD SEND! I JUST got off the phone with my enrollment counselor at WGU and she told me to start applying for scholarships TODAY. My start date is 12/1 so, wish me luck?! I am very excited and really appreciate your sound advice.
It’s a caveat to the scholarships. I was told by financial aid that if your income is too high to be approved for the pell grant, than you can’t apply for the scholarships. That was the case for me. I tried logging in to apply for scholarships, but it only showed external scholarships. So I called WGU, and asked why I didn’t have access to WGU’s scholarships, and was told it’s needs based only, therefore if you’re not qualified for the Pell grant, no WGU scholarships for you.😐
Awesome question! Sorry for the delay, but I do think there might be a handful of full ride scholarships available. They do change though, so don't quote me. Your best bet would be to meet with an enrollment counselor as they probably have a better list of current scholarship offerings 🙂
Awesome video! From your bachelor to your Grad degree how much time you had? Is a month time enough to apply? I'm finishing Oct 31st and starting my MBA Dec 1st
Thanks so much & congrats on starting soon! I applied a month out & they let me know by about week 2 into the term, so based on my experience, I think that’s sufficient time for the WGU ones 😊 Altogether, I believe it was about about 1.5yrs to get both the BS & MS, including my time off.
If you’re still attending school you can still apply! Sometimes it can take a minute to hear back so that’s why I just recommend doing it before you start. I’m sure there are some options you’d be fit for - just pay attention to the deadlines! 😊
@@ITGirlll True buuut I'm almost finished with my degree haha I've got like 2 classes left to graduate and I already paid off my tuition 😅 awesome advice in your video though it's really helpful! I'll be sure to watch it again if I decide to go back for a masters degree :)
@@felixcalderon7258 Lol well that makes sense then 😄 Congrats on almost being done though 👏🏼 Shoot me a comment or email when you're finished & I'll give ya a shoutout in a vid 😊
@@ITGirlll oh that would be so awesome thank you! I've also managed to be on track to complete all of my classes in 1 term which was my goal from the start. I'd be happy to share tips once I'm done with my degree if you want to share some of that information in your future videos!
😄 I wouldn't start my essay off with that, but yes lol. You just choose what you make from the dropdown & it just depends on who else applies for the scholarships you apply for & how early you do it. Some ppl may make a lot of money, but be incredibly in debt, or be saving their money for some world changing, life saving invention they're planning on making using their degree. So, yeah still possible lol 😊

If you’re okay with answering how much was your income? I’m wondering how much income disqualifies you from the Pell grant
@@xjakex2514
5,000$ per year is disqualifying.
@@Jimothy-723 wtffff that’s horrible
@@Jimothy-723 that’s odd I got the Pell grant for like 1750 and I made 48000 that year
Does it offer full time scholarship, sis I am from Cameroon, can I get a full scholarship to study at WGU , I really don't have money to pay

Can I send same essay to each company?
yes. not reccomended, but yes.
Do they accept funds from outside organizations?
Great question! I believe they do, but I would def check with your enrollment counselor or program mentor to confirm 😊
