- A short video of a Gauge '3' Society members get-together in May 2018; something not really possible in 2020 due to Corvid pandemic.
Both live steam and battery electric locomotives are seen in action.
The live steamers include an LNER Gresley 2-6-2 V2; a an LMS Stanier 4-6-0 'Black Five'; an LMS 4-6-0 'Royal Scot', and a BR Riddles 2-10-0 9F.
The battery electrics included an unrebuilt Bulleid 4-6-2 Battle of Britain class 'Biggin Hill'; Manning Wardle 0-6-0ST class'L' named 'Thomas Albert' after my late father; an L&SWR class 'O2' 0-4-4T in Isle of Wight configuration (and in early British Railways livery), and a Great North of Scotland Railway 0-4-2T (later LNER class Z4).
Steps have been taken to avoid showing children's faces as part of Child Protection regulations.
Shear perfection. That V2 is just magic. Lovely layout, even the vegetable patch looks spot on. Well done, and thank you.
Did he convert the G Scale Thomas into Gauge 3?
Covid, not corvid.
