USPS Begins Issuing Layoff Notices to logistics and supervisors

- The U.S. Postal Service is preparing layoff notices that could take effect in September 2023, notifying staff earlier this month of the potential for workforce reductions. As of today, I do not know exactly what positions will be laid off, but there will be downgrade of position (supervisors) to keep the current employees. Let me know what's going on in your branch and mention what is your craft. Can they downgrade lazy, toxic and incompetent supervisors?

We have too many supervisors and management at the USPS. Postmaster General is from private labor. He is going to trim the fat like a private company.
Is this why I see all of these new Supervisor Relief positions all of a sudden??
Hi Marie, as far as RCA’s not being part of the union or covered by the union, your information is incorrect. RCA’s are covered by the contract and I’m pretty sure we have a no layoff clause in our contract still. Logistics and supervisors are key words in this article. I believe that are talking transportation. A little more research maybe before conclusions is all I am saying. You are a pro at good information, your interpretation on this one is a little off is all I am saying . I appreciate your channel. Keep up the good content. Ty and now after reading the article this is all about upper management . Please don’t scare the lower level hard working employees that a lay off is coming.

What is going on with the postal service in Ohio. They deliver when the want all hours and sometime not at all.
I have notice they are hiring mostly immigrants who can't read or understañd English.
People are quitting, so they take anyone willing to work.
