- In this scene the mysterious Lt. Jack Cole is determined to get some information from Mr. Smith. Due to all the obstructions and non cooperative people and colleagues , along with corrupt staff Jack encounters during his investigation he gets quite frustrated when even the restaurant staff fail cooperate. he appears calm on the surface at first but in the course of this scene his pent-up anger finds a way out.
The hardest slap in the face in film history.
2nd hardest. Hardest was the one Will Smith landed.
That slap knocked the guy out cold for at least 5 minutes
@@safeandeffectivelol😂
@@JacobNightingaleNot even close!😂
A truly polished & classy movie. Shame Seagal couldn’t keep up this kind of quality.

Agreed....I'd put this as top 5 Seagal Movies. Truly loved it.
Brian Cox was definitely a great addition to the cast
Mmmm
@@OldMovieFan1973 yep
I miss his older movies too..
It's the sound of the skull against the iron post. Gets me every time.😫
🤣🤣🤣.....Seagal threw that guy's head against that post three times.... that's gotta hurt each time.
Me too😅
Brass post. Bit more up market
I guess those guys didn't know where Richie was or why he did Bobby Lupo
Anybody seen Richie?
🤣
💀💀💀💀😂😂😂😂
Didn't I tell yous to get the fuck outta here...
Lmao!!
The ending part always made me laugh hes picks up the phone as hes leaving and says "no that won't do were closed for renovation. I'd say about, he looks around and says 2 months" that's comedy gold right there lmao 🤣
It was perfect lol.
Exactly 😂
Aikido martial arts Zen Buddhism.
Seagal is trained to be in the present moment for anything.
meanwhile the first caller is getting screwed
segal ain't no comedian and he's not funny what so ever..
That's right !!😂😂
4:03 - 4:11 The reaction on Smith’s face when the guy hits the pillar for the third time is just priceless! 🤣🤣🤣
More proof, shorin ryu is the best form of karate by far, is that karate practitioners very first comment to me was, it's NUTS your friend does shorin ryu...NUTS !! It's extremely violent and some say, it's too dangerous..I learned that my friend would OBLITERATE michael jai white, Most of about 8 forms of karate will beat Tae kwon doe everytime..
Time to get new henchmen
😁
I'm gonna keep coming back here until someone remembers seeing Ritchie.
Or Bobby lupo!
“If you ever pull that shit again.”
😆
A golden scene that never fades, and never gets old
Hahahhah
Because in real life, recourse against reducing financial inequities should work so well...
Reza, unlike Seagal. But yes, it is a classic.
Unlike Seagal, whose acting career was decades behind the territorial expansion of his obesity.
@@troywilkinson160 What do you know clown
I'm far from Seagal's biggest fan, but that "bruise on your forehead" bit was fucking gold.
What bruise?
@@nielswil *BAM* That bruise.
Puthoff you have every Seagal film
How dare you ridicule Steven!!! He is a judo expert and a knife expert. He has helped put a lot of tough hoods in jail.
And just before that: "If you ever pull that shit on me again I'll kill you." 😆
Within the context of this movie , which is my favorite Segall film , this is seriously about the best 5 minutes of smart-assed action movie history !!!!
How sweet is the clang of that skull against the brass pole......love it !
Not a Seagal fan. But ill gladly admit, that this is a badass scene and hes legit badass in it.
Steven has a thing for stores, restaurants and bars.
Morris Falker
He's a cook...just a lonely, lonely little cook.(Under Siege reference)
He also has a thing for wearing black, not showing any emotions and speaking very softly LOL

That guy confronted Steven Seagal three times! the first time he got his arm twisted, the second time he got thrown through the glass windows, and he still came back to confront Steven Seagal the third time!!! That guy is such a dutiful henchman!
Lol.. never thought that kinda person still exist int his world hahaha
He should get a raise...About 5 feet will do.
The other guy needs a ball transplant.
he should get promoted to lackey
It's in the script.
Whatever you think of Seagal personally, he sure made some entertaining action movies
Early ones... I agree
Dam straight
I dont think anything about him personally
How true
In the 90s for sure!!! Will Always be the Biggest Fan for Him from that Time!!!
Love this scene! Lmfao! It was perfect! Dialogue, camera, etc . Never gets old . He should have done more of these type scenes. Love the grabs the bread basket napkin to wipe his mouth. Lmfao.
Love Brian Cox's character here
He's calm and respectful because he knows how tenacious Segal is when he doesn't get what he wants
That's only because Cox thinks Seagal hasn't yet followed the trail that leads back to him and then Cox is left to hobble to a hospital.
1st one to play Dr. Hannibal Lektor
More like his character in Succession.
What he wants? Like donuts and cheeseburgers?
Steven Seagal 90’s movies are the best.
Man, it's Steven Seagal! The ultimate badass with such a calm personality trait! That's why I like him so much!
Yeah, I like the fact that, although he's a 7th dan aikido master, he's very calm and easy going. A true martial artist is never haughty or loudmouthed.
Hong Kong I agree with you all the way! O_O
ipmala That's right.
Aikido is Useless in the real world Street fighting and MMA !! Not one MMA Fighter uses Aikido !!
Ray Rocco Looks like Steven Seagal doesn't agree with you, but neither do I.
Love how the guy tries and talks tough in front of the Senator and Mr. Smith after getting his ass kicked. Then, he tries it again as Jack leaves. As if he didn't learn the first time. This would be called "Ego Preservation." Loved this movie.
yes mate he would have saved himself a lot of pain but he learnt the hard way trying to take Jack on ☯️
@@geoffwebber8317 The only explanation is that he loves pain you know LOL :))))
I love how the guy on the phone gets slapped and dies.
Ritchie @ dan 😆 🤣
One of the great scenes. This film is a masterpiece of the genre.
Calling this film a masterpiece instantly brings your taste into question.
@Facetiouslyinsolent Of its genre. I think the best movies I've ever seen are "The Outlaw Josey Wales" with Clint Eastwood, "The Razor's Edge" with Bill Murray and films like "The Last Samurai" with Tom Cruise, "Donovan's Reef" with John Wayne, "The Game" with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn, to give you a frame of reference into me. All the best to you and yours
For the last time.....has ANYBODY seen Ritchie?
I seen the top of her head
No Fan has to apologize for liking Seagal at this moment in his Career. He was fantastic. Looked terrific. Moved with power and grace. Very nice Acting skills. Had a top Film Crew making it look and sound perfect. 🎉
Half Past Dead (2002) was his last good film. 😉
His “yeah” on the phone at the end…..😂🤣 perfect.
"Hello, Lento's... no, that won't work; we're closed for renovation. I'd say... two months. Yeah."
"You don't call..you don't write.. and what's worse is you don't take my calls." LOL
"You don't invite me to dinner!"
Did theese two actors make a bet who could whisper the softest in this scene while talking at the table?
I know everyone likes to make fun of Steven Seagal but this was a very entertaining scene with good action and humor.
They make fun of him for everything that came after this movie......
Yeah, his early stuff is great, back when he could make a fight scene look like a fight. Now he just kind of waves his arms around and the camera cuts to the bad guy flopping around like a rag doll.
Well, it all went downhill after this movie.
Easily one of the best scenes from any action movie . Seagal at his very best
The very best at massive calorie intake.
Yes this scene definitely belongs on the "best of seagal" dvd
Only guys who are gay for Van Damm dislike 90’s Seagal movies.
Everything from the humor to action is perfect. It can't be done any better
Why do people hate on this movie? This is wayy better than some of Seagal direct to video films. I almost watch this movie everything on comes on TV.
People talk shit about Seagal but he made some really really great movies.
People talk shit about him, cause he is an arrogant ass who talks shit about others, btw his movies ain't that great, they include some nice fight scenes though!
Actually some of his movies are pretty good not all of them though.
Only shitty people talk shit because that's what they are.
He talks shit cause he knows
That he can get in your head,
The fear of death is worse than death it self ,
Indeed!
He's the most legendary restaurant wrecker in hollywood.
And bar wrecker
He has a brutal style of fighting. I like it!
Fighting without fighting he ends it to quick lol I know ur comment old but I don't give a sh!t lol
This scene makes me laugh. That happens when tenacious folks like Steven Seagal never give up on getting what they've come for.
I love Brian Cox's, southern gentleman, in this movie. You just know, that behind all those manners and politeness, there's a cold-hearted man, that will not hesitate to have someone "removed", if necessary.
I'm sorry, but Brian Cox's reactions to the fight are the best part of the fight.
His reactions to anything are better than almost anything.
Especially at 4:09 . I think I had that same expression first time I watched this.
🙄🤦😉
So true.. I could google Brian cox, but I know most far back movie I remember him in was uncle argyle in braveheart. He was in many movies.. long kiss goodnight and Bourne movies. He plays the older Govt man who knows everything. Edward Norton dad in 25th hour..
Didnt know that his voice in the McDonald's commercials......
HOW CAN ANYONE NOT LOVE STEVEN...?
Including the minors he seduced. Katherine Heigl for example.🖓
thats what he often thinks to himself. It's also what gets him into trouble, especially when beautiful women and other actors are concerned.
Yes....They said the restaurant is still under construction
@@tyronnfields7945 lol xD
Steven Seagal is a treasure, Everyone should love him. The guy literally went from making some of the best action movies ever. To becoming a 350 pound fraud who makes straight to DVD shit movies. He’s endlessly entertaining either way. The gift that keeps giving.
This was one of my favorite Segal movies. Very enjoyable
The expression Jack gives at 1:10 as if he were saying "I tried to warn this guy...now I gotta give him that smoke." 🤣

Love Brian Cox! He is a Brit and such a versatile actor!!❤
Great actor but I think he was a miscast for Troy
u know as soon as the scene was over , he went right back to the table and ate EVERYTHING

That would be 10 years later
not at this time of his career, he was still eating light

To me the two legendary moments in this video were the one with “the bruise on your forehead - what bruise?” and the very end with the two months renovation phone conversation
His acting when looking around and deciding how long the renovations would take is absolutely horrible.

"His acting when looking around and deciding how long the renovations would take is absolutely horrible."
lmao perhaps horrible but it was still a hilarious and badass moment. 🙂
Every Steven Seagal movie is an autobiography.
4:07 the guy's head against the Pole still sounds like music to my ear ..............!!!
At the 4:00 mark, I love the guy with the martial arts moves getting his head bashed against the metal post three times.
i thought it was frank shamrock but looked it up and it's not him
My favorite part too
Especially the elbow to the back of the head that sends him back into the pole for the third and final time. Pure action movie magic!
Brian Cox was like “Well the script is ok and the pay’s good. Who plays Jack?”
Agent: “Steven Seagal”
Brian Cox: “…Ask for double the money”
This is a movie you couldn't make today. Because if you put that much food in front of Seagal there would be no fight scene at all.
😂😂😂😂 hilarious
These days, they keep the Kraft services table on the other side of the studio lot so that he doesn’t wander out of frame to gorge on the spread.
Seagal has always had the best fight scenes in all his movies.
all bullshit
All his movies? Exit Wounds, to me, was the last really good one. After that, it went shitty downhill deluxe.
Haha although he was a carpenter
holy shit man you haven't even seen half of his movies and none of his really bad ones then. He got horribly lazily bad where they'd literally film a stunt double throwing a punch and re-use the same shot of Seagal from two mirrored angles in slo-motion, and he'd have sped up "slap fights", it was just … bad.
you have to love steven Segal watching him I never get tired of he's smooth kicks butt effortlessly
Back when Seagal actually made good movies.
Yes, before He and Nasso parted company. All of the Seagal movies with Nasso were from 1988 to 1997 and then everything went to shit.
Yup ‘88- ‘97 exactly. He made 9 movies during that time. All were good. I even like On Deadly Ground and Under Siege 2.
@@kevinfinnerty8414 Right on, Brother. Those were good movies, especially Above the Law, Marked for Death, Hard to Kill, Under Siege I.
Above the Law was the only realistic film he made.
His movies were great up to Fire Down Below. Exit Wounds, Ticker and Half Past Dead were also good. Haven’t seen Against the Dark, yet.
@@tiffanybatcheller-harris522 I'd seen a UA-cam channel where they critique his movies and one of his latest war movies he has a double to carry a fellow soldier up the stairs because he's too fat and out of shape to do it himself. And he probably had the least screen time of the entire cast. F.Y.I. to Seagal:
If you want to be the star of a movie, then you need to actually be IN the movie! He definitely screwed whatever legacy he had.
Say what you will, he made some great movies and had some great fight scenes.
I would rather watch a fraud who makes good movies. Than someone legitimate who makes crap movies.
Facts!!!
This was actually his last good one. Anything after 2003 is trash
Straight to dvd garbage movies
My favorite. Watched it countless times.
Brian Cox's subtle nods with the food to Manhunter are hilarious. So, Steven Seagal and the very first Dr. Hannibal Lecter walk into a Chinese restaurant and....
Very very few people remember Manhunter or the fact that Brian Cox was the original Hannibal Lecter. Brian Cox is a hugely talented actor but Manhunter was kinda forgettable, especially when compared to the masterpiece that was Silence of The Lambs & Sir Anthony Hopkins' instantly legendary portrayal of Lecter. Hannibal (great movie but sucks that they didn't go with the original ending from the book) & Red Dragon were great too as was the Hannibal TV show starring the also amazing Mads Mikkelson as the new Hannibal Lecter whose portrayal is easily the second greatest version of the character right behind Hopkins'. But compared to all the other Lecter movies & show, Manhunter is easily the least interesting of the series.
Brian Cox was a pretty cool customer considering what was going on around him and Seagal's obvious threat.
Back when segal could still sorta fight and didn't spend most of his movies sitting down
This was inspired by an incident that actually happened with the staff at an Olive Garden where Seagal had to wait for a table.
😆😆😆😆
...........the BEST fight scene EVER!
Unimaginable that there where times when even seagull made fun and decent movies. The makers were able to just fulfill miracles.
master seagal great posture reflects confidence and strength ☯️🙏
He knocked that guy out with just a slap, pure ownage 🤣🤣

There's not a thing in the world he can't solve by beating everyone up. Fantastic. Works every time. Remarkable...
Like John Leguizamo on the set of "Executive Decision," seagull knocked the wind out of him when he laughed at him for seagull saying, "I'm in charge." What a tool. I have a friend, Dave Durch,. (Google him), who is in acting and martial arts. He told me when the martial arts people have a convention, they never invite s. Seagull.

It took allot of self control for Seagal to not eat all the food at that table! 😂
Brian Cox adds a touch of class to anything.
Steven Seagal holding the phone said yeah come in up
The only thing that would have made it more perfect is if the first guy he knocked out by the phone started to recover as he's walking out and Seagal reaches out and knocks him unconscious again, lol.
kapnerad, that would be absolutely great!
Brian Cox and Seagal together, it's like whisper porn :P
LMAO
This is 1 of my favorite Seagal movies
Remember he's not just acting, he is a master for real, and fat or not now, I still would never fight him!
My favorite actor
If Steven had just played it cool off-screen too, everybody would love the guy. He had it all but squandered it.
This fight was hilarious the part that made it hilarious was the dude getting slammed to the pole 😂
Exactly
You would think hitting that pole as hard as he did would have knocked him out the first time.
Big fights in these bars and reataurants, hearing all the utensils, glasses and plates crashing, and clashing on the floor. All the women screaming, running, while the body guards are getting their arms and limbs twisted off their joints. Watching Steven Seagal crack the bones of the bad guy's is such a delight 😁
I’ve never seen this one before I rather enjoyed it
"Do you validate parking?" Perfect.
The volume is so low in this video, that i only see seagals lips move.

Using the bread basket napkin as a napkin is boss. 😂
Yeah that was actually the funniest part of this scene basically says I am going to do what I want here and no one is going to do anything about it.
Scar16, why not? He emptied it?
I'm his day no matter what the arm chair tough guys say, Seagal was a seriously tough dude. His size and big frame on top of teaching martial arts made him a fighting machine. He was very fit and trained hard 7 days a week in Japan. Not the nicest of humans but he could drop 95% of the untrained men that walk the earth. Different now he is older and not fit, but in the 80's and 90's he was a tough nut.
0:22 He smacked him silly. 😂😂😂
