If you’re still in the Munich area, take the train west to Herrsching by Ammersee (lake) where my in-laws live. There’re restaurants by the lake and weather permitting, you can hike to Andechs Monastery where they brew their own beer. Or a trip to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and take the cable car to the Zugspitze (the highest mountain in Germany).

Prices are astronomical compared to hawker price 😂I don't think you can ever beat $3 chicken rice. I generally find prices of dining out are higher than in Singapore when comparing restaurants of a similar calibre in both places.
